We are seniors over 70s with some physical and communicative challenges on line with misleading online Apps.Transaction Day: April 13, 2024 Total Disputed Amount: ***** (inclusive of improperly disclosed service charges)Nature of Dispute: 1. Inproper disclosure of itemized charges prior, during and after the purchase.2. Improper disclosure of the nature of business (As a "resale" ticket agency), and its CANCEL/CHANGE policy: we found out after the order was confirmed, and only in the *** section of of the order AFTER the fact.3. Unreasonable, unfair timeline in delivery of tickets (we were only promised tickets a few dates prior to our flight to ********) As senior travelers, we could not afford the uncertainty that we would not be assured of actual tickets in advance. 4. We promptly called in April 13. Requested cancellation and was declined of refund. Two customer ******************** *****s, by the name of **** and ***. We requested a breadown of charges in writing. They failed. to provide. Second ***** **** via online chat even suggested we should ask our bank to stop payment and or we could ask them to resell tickets.Business Response

Complaint: Fraudulent Ticket Sales & Nonfunctional Support Links On May 29, 2024, I attempted to purchase tickets via Tickets.com through what appeared to be a legitimate platform. However, after completing the transaction, I received links to access the tickets that resulted in an error message, claiming the tickets did not exist. I was, therefore, unable to access or receive my purchased tickets. The follow-up email I received titled Ticket Acceptance did not contain any relevant instructions for accepting tickets but instead referenced information about a church. There was no mention of the *** concert tickets I purchased. Additionally, multiple links within the email, including Contact Us and View Order Status, were completely nonfunctional, making it impossible to reach customer support or check my order.I have reason to believe that Tickets.com is operating fraudulently, as they have infiltrated legitimate ticket-purchasing platforms and redirected users to a deceptive website that mimics the original site. They collect payments but provide no access to valid tickets. This pattern of fraudulent behavior has been confirmed by numerous complaints, as documented on the Better Business Bureaus own website. Several customers have reported similar experiences, including hidden fees, non-existent tickets, and the inability to access any customer service or refunds after being misled.Given the prevalence of these complaints and my personal experience, it appears that Tickets.com is engaged in fraudulent activity, preying on customers attempting to purchase event tickets. I have lost both the money I paid for the tickets and the opportunity to attend the event due to their negligence and deceptive practices.I expect an immediate investigation into this company, as they are clearly violating consumer trust and engaging in fraudulent business operations. I am seeking a full refund of my purchase, and an investigation into this illegitimate company.Business Response

I purchased tickets for *********** play on line at $107 per person. The order form listed the price and the number of tickets. The next frame did not indicate a review or summary of the purchase, only the request for purchase. When I indicated purchase the order was confirmed and I was charged an additional $35.00 per ticket. There was no notice of this charge. Then, I am notified via email that the tickets wont be available to confirm (seating location, etc.) location until 2 days prior to show. See copy of instructions below. I immediately contacted the company via phone that recommended that I chat. Upon engaging in a chat I requested that the order be cancelled. At which time I was referred to an insurance protection site. I do not wish to purchase insurance for the tickets. I wan the order cancelled. Instructions received below:Depending on the event, you may also have to download an app.An email notifying you that the seller initiated the transfer. Once you create an account and accept the transfer, make sure youre able to view your mobile tickets.* For some venues, you may receive your tickets via a text message. Please follow those instructions when you receive the text. Reach out with any questions. Enjoy your event. Please note that my efforts to reach out have been met with no answer.Business Response

Tickets.com writes in response to the BBB complaint initiated by ****** ********* (#********). We have investigated this matter and deny any allegation of wrongdoing. We have been in contact with our client who discussed the matter with the consumer the day following the event. Our client inquired as to whether the consumer made any effort on the date of the performance to contact fan services staff, an usher, or any customer service representative regarding the alleged impaired visibility. The consumer denied doing so. Our client further inquired as to whether the consumer was able to see the video screens throughout the ballpark, which are clearly visible in the photograph attached to the complaint. The consumer merely indicated she could not fully see the stage. The tickets were scanned and the consumer attended the event without any complaint during the event. Further, the ticket terms and conditions (as indicated on the ticket purchase confirmation page) indicates that All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges allowed.
Due to the foregoing, Tickets.com respectfully requests that the complaint be closed.Customer Answer

Obstructed view refers to the stage. People dont go to concerts to view screens. The business acknowledges that the stage was not visible, which is also evident from the photo I submitted. These tickets were clearly obstructed and that was not indicated on the tickets.
