  I have lived in four manufactured home parks and Cal-AM parks are by far the best hands down. I have lived in Vall Vista Village for 2 years now and I'm absolutely 100% totally a happy with the living conditions here I would highly recommend if you're looking for a park model to buy or just a nice RV resort to live in this is a wonderful Park. Come and check one of Cal-Am's parks for yourself I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

  Do not buy a home from Cal-Am Properties under any circumstances. I am a former employee (loved my job helping people find their perfect home!). I was always told that I was a fantastic employee (3 years at this company and ten years total in the industry). However, when I gave my two week notice, I was told that my notice was accepted and the manager was "sad" that I was leaving the company, I was promptly escorted off the property with no good reason. I was not leaving for any reason other than the state of the economy as the home sales had dropped off to almost nothing and the advertising was at a minimum which affected my earnings significantly. I was shocked as I had one sale on the books and another the same day I was walked off and was not going to be paid out for either of those sales. I am not a disgruntled employee, but just NEVER been treated so unfairly as on this day. I am "old school" and thought it was proper to always give a two week notice. I guess that isn't necessary in today's culture. At the same time, I believe the quality of the home construction before, during and after the sale is so inferior. It doesn't have to be, but Cal-Am cuts corners and not take care of issues that come up especially after the sale which leaves the homeowner stuck between the manufacturer warranty issues and Cal-Am's responsibility to correct defects that they are responsible for as well. DO NOT BUY. In addition, the properties all have amenities/communities fees that go up every single year and most of the properties have inferior amenities in the first place. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY!!

  My wife is working here in **** ******* . We picked Sun Life rv resorts. The resident at G67 has come over accusing ** a stealing from 5 time now. Sunday we where enjoying our evening and 2 police cars pulled up, started asking us question. Seems the lady called police on us for breaking in a letting her dog out. **** and told manager,and was told it's no big deal. Not another word from them. "

  Well I don't know how I started in May I'm 4 years old living in San Estrwlla in ******* and the problem started that the house was flooding from below, a Community problem, not mine, I told the manager and she wanted me to fix the problem that it wasn't mine and now even with my dog and brother she wants to run them for almost 4 years paying for her well for 2 and I only have 1 I think the girl is a veterinarian because she knows what breed she is

  They discriminate and retaliate when doing the inspections by not inspecting all homes the same which is against state. Complain to them they will do the best to evict you they dropped my eviction notices.

  They stole and cashed my rent check as they refused to accept it onsite under new rules, and forced it to be sent to **********, ** and will not help find where they put the funds after cashing becuase it was not on my account.

  Emotionally abused by a staff worker, giving ultimatums over checking acct statements demanding they know every purchase I've made in the last 6 months. ( ******* couldn't even see that they had all info in front of them when presented with the proper documentation) Staffer was filling with there personal cell phones while in the appointment to complete firms..very rude and demanding about the paperwork procesdthey just acquired the contract to take over property for *************** ***************, was told if I didn't give them what they wanted today then I'll get a 60 day notice, I've lived here 3 years under different management..not my fault about other management leaving, wouldn't accept rent unless cash check or money order..maintence issues within have not been repaired since before hole in ceiling over tub, not repaired, major drywall repairs not done..wants cash only up front to change out a door lock, wants some pages left blank intentionally on paperwork..they pick choose what information they want to put on your application, employees will not help you in any way for filling out a maintence request if it's right before lunch time,staff claims of other staffers aka only 2 in office today

  -5 stars Im a single mom moved to this property 6 yrs ago. Got evicted back in july right after my loan got pay off.Manager made false accusations of my living situation and took me to court. I wasnt able to defend myself in court now Im about to lose the only thing I called home. I am homeless now and soon to be broke. Cant believe how this company tried to stole ppl houses and kicked out families that easy. DONT EVER RENT OR BUY ANYTHING RELATED TO THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SHADY and will make your life h***

  I have been having an issue about $1,200 being taken out of my account on auto pay and then being told it was not taken out of the account I have submitted documentation from the bank to calam homes and they still refuse to help the first time that they have done this giving them documentation of accounts account numbers and dates showing that this money was taken out and was never returned as non-sufficient funds yet they refuse to show me any documentation from their Bank all they show me is a spreadsheet that was done by the office staff not even an official document nor have they sent me anything official I have tried to contact them and the loan department with a person named *************************** the loan officer and they refuse to help they keep blaming it on each other it's village of *****'s office making the problem it's ERT at Kalam homes making the problems either way I have submitted documentation to them showing black and white they are wrong yet they refuse to help you can help me in this matter would be gravely appreciated I'm a veteran and I live on a fixed income and cannot afford to keep shelling out money because of their mistakes thank you for your time

  Whoever is the Big man over Cal am properties really need to hire people that are not prejudice, and respect the individuals who pay big money to live in these concentration camps...that's exactly how home owners are treated! If they are elders, and white they get harassed and threatened constantly!! I plan on going as far as I need to before my mother has a heart attack!! This is absolutely ridiculous, your employees are no better then the next!!
