      When we called this morning the rude receptionist laughed and said "you have an outstanding balance of $413.00". She literally laughed. I'm so glad this company thinks taking a disabled veterans money just to sit back and watch him lose his home is funny. Do NOT recommend them

      Amazing group and experience. Couldn't be happier with the representation and in addition to helping eliminate debt through the bankruptcy we were able to pursue an action against a debt collector who broke the law and violated my federal rights. In turn, I got rid of all the debt through the bankruptcy and got $1000 dollar check back for statutory damages. Cannot say enough good things and literally saved my life. Organizing and getting all the documents and requirements was time consuming but 100% worth it and I am so happy. Thank you for everything and a special thanks to *******************************, ******, ***** and the rest of the Wajda / Recovery Law Group team.THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!

      Upon my initial phone call to get information to the *********, ** office, the lady was very unprofessional and kinda rude, acting like I was bothering her and I guess I asked too many questions and the person hung up on me. Upon my 2nd call to a ** office, I spent 30 min on the phone answering questions and giving alot of personal info. Upon completing the info I was told I would be placed on hold to speak to a lawyer. I spent 1 hour on the phone without anyone picking up and finally hung up myself. Not a very positive experience and I got the gut feeling that this was a SCAM COMPANY.....????

      I decided to file Bankruptcy several months ago. I was making monthly payments on the $1850 retainer fee. My situation has changed for the better and I wanted to cancel my Bankruptcy. I was told they were keeping the $800 I already paid because of the work they have already done. They tried to convince me to continue with the Bankruptcy. They haven't done a thing. I was still receiving just as many creditor calls as the day I made my initial payment. They've never called me. I've actually had to call the office several times just to try to cancel. So yeah, they are keeping the entire $800 for all the "work"they've done.. Nothing filed, creditors still calling.. They must be charging me $400 for every time I call to cancel.

      We understand the situation and wish there was more that we could do in this instance as a refund but substantial work and costs have been performed for your case. Legal counsel's job and role is to interpret the law and report the best possible outcome and solution to our clients.

      This is all detailed in the retainer agreement that you signed and executed with the the firm. If anything changes and you would like to pick up work on the bankruptcy with the firm and complete the process we can and will use the petition and the work that we started.

      There is considerable work that is done for every case and file that is opened which is why, it is fine, if you decide not to continue with the bankruptcy and move forward, however, for work completed and performed it is billed at the hourly rate and outlined in the retainer agreement for all clients.

      We have costs to pull credit reports, notify creditors, send certified letters(on behalf of clients) , pay staff , attorneys and open the case file and documents in the office per the legal process with software and overhead for every client.

      All staff and attorneys are paid wages when a retainer is executed for every client file opened and work performed.

      If you would like to continue the process we are here to assist and help but our staff has to be compensated for their time and we must make sure to cover costs for cases and clients when we open a case file and have a signed retainer agreement and contract outlining the fees and process. In your case we have opened the file, started the petition, documented creditors, filed the retainer agreement internally and begun the legal protection process internally (all of which requires human capital, time, software and overhead costs). That said, we have performed the work and have your case and files prepared so that if you decide to move forward we can finish the case requirements and documents to be filed with the bankruptcy court if you decide to finish paying the fees and move forward.

      It is just very challenging as we don't have a tangible product like say a tv (or some physical product) that could be returned and resold which I think we are all used to in consumer returns and refunds.
