    I purchased an evaporative cooler from Newair in June 2022. The cooler was delivered to me in a box that was so damaged that I elected to not even open the box, for fear the unit was just as damaged as the box. I contacted Newair, and was told to send a video of the damaged box which I did, along with pictures of the box. They were supposed to send me a RMA nbr which took forever and a day to receive. I was so frustrated with their service and with receiving the item in such damaged packaging, that I elected to just get a refund and have no further dealings with Newair. I have a string of email communications between myself and Newair beginning in June 2022 through August 2022 first trying to get a RMA nbr, then trying to get a refund. I last contacted Newair on 9/21/22 regarding the status of my refund of $90, and was told by *****, ****** and *** at Newair that a refund check would be mailed out to me by Friday, 9/23/22. It is now October and I have yet to receive a refund of my money. Before ending the phone call I placed to Newair on 9/21/22, I asked ***, to make sure the customer svc **** and the Accounting **** knew that I would not be calling Newair again, in regards to this issue as I thought it was ridiculous what I had to go through, all I had to go through just to return the unit; and trying to obtain a refund (which was worse) for the money I spent. I told her I would be filing a formal complaint if I did not receive a refund check by the following week (by 9/29/22). It is now October 2022, and enough is enough. I am now filing this complaint against Newair, and I will never again in life do any business with Newair. I will also let my friends know of my negative experience with them.

    Thank you for reaching out kindly note we have issued a refund back to the customer on 10/7/2022. He should see a difference in their bank statement within 5-7 business days a notificaton email was sent to the customer also.
