    *** ***** and The Nomadik have owed our company since ********************************* their subscription boxes (and the product was all used). I'm writing this review in 2025. Do NOT do business with company. Next step: court.

    Subscription boxes have become more repetitive and less and less included. It is difficult to cancel and there is no notification before the make a large charge to your account for an additional several months of boxes.Customer service not helpful, did not offer to cancel my subscription even when I emailed and said there was no subscription listed in my account to cancel.

    Completely dishonest company, wish I would have checked here before purchasing my first box from them. They advertise everywhere and even have ***lied to people on their social media channels that first-time customers receive exactly the items advertised in the box they select. I have collected so many screen shots of this, so there's not really any arguing that they aren't falsely advertising. I have screen shots of them saying to people "we show [first time customers] exactly what they will get." Well, my first box arrived and that was not the case. Mistakes happen though, I thought ok looks like I just received the wrong box, and one that was meant for established subscribers. Tried to resolve this with customer service, and the only option they gave me was to return the box at my expense! Why would I pay for a mistake that was not my fault? I asked for a better resolution and was ghosted by ****, the *** I was communicating with. Tried to resolve this with my credit card company and the Nomadik lied and mis***resented expectations to my cc company. I recently commented a warning on their Instagram where they are still claiming first time customers get to pick their exact box, and they commented back and asked me to message them about this. I did, and they told me to email them about it. I did so again, and let them know I'd been ghosted before, but have not received a ***ly. They don't seem to have any willingness to try and make this right. I reviewed them on Trustpilot, and will also be ***orting this to the California Attorney General, and encourage everyone else who's been scammed by them to do the same.

    Thieves. Dont be sucked in. Very difficult to get out of. Always dispute charges with tour bank and log onto Nomadiks website to physically cancel subscriptions, that you never signed up for. This company should be under investigation for fraud.

    If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Don't ever do business with them.This October 2023, I received an auto-renewal on my account even though I'm pretty sure I disabled that feature as soon as I got the subscription as a gift - last year. Further, their policy states If you dispute any charges you must let Us know within seven (7) days after the date that we charge you. They charged me on October 5th. I wrote to Nomadik disputing the charges on October 9th. They refused to honor the cancellation, charging me the full amount for another year. There was no reminder, no auto-renewal notice. Three other subscription companies did send me reminders before they charged me. Even worse, this was not cheap my original subscription was $287.91. The renewal was a whopping $489.35! Almost $500! It feels downright predatory. When I tried to get remedy, I found they don't even have a phone number registered for customer support.I've already begun receiving boxes in the mail from the new subscription. I've sent about 6 emails to **** and still no remedy. Now it's November 21, 2023 and I've begun complaining to anyone who will listen, including leaving ******** messages on owner's page, **************************Beware of this terrible company. It's the pits.

    Experienced a similar story to other reviewers. Purchased a year-long subscription for my brother and his wife as a wedding gift. We are all big outdoorsy people and love hiking, camping, etc. The gear was okay. Not premium, and nothing you couldn't get for cheaper at another retailer. The big problem is the auto-renewal. After the first year, my subscription was auto-renewed with no warning at a significant increase (from about $300 to almost $600). I emailed the company and asked about a cancellation and a refund. They replied and cancelled my subscription, but did not address the refund and said I would continue to receive shipments for another calendar year. I responded asking that those shipments be cancelled and, at a minimum, the excessive additional cost be refunded. They never responded, despite several more followup emails. Not worth the time, money, or hassle -- especially if they don't even have the decency to reply.

    Don't deal with this company! According to their website you can cancel anytime but when I try to log in to my account it says my information can't be found! When I contacted them, they took forever to respond but eventually also said my email can't be found in their system even thought they continue to charge my card and send me emails!

    The products are so cheap. Tried to cancel they said I couldnt. Cancelled through credit card company. Just got another charge from them yesterday. They told the credit card company they already sent out the product. Now I have do a weird investigation to prove I never received a package. I really wish I would have looked up this company before I got that first box. You could have got everything in that box for *****.

    The first package that I received from them was such a disappointment that I ended up returning it at my cost, over $20. Their response time for returning emails was well over a week to two weeks and it took over a **** after they received the package to refund my money.I thought that I had paused my subscription but perhaps that was on me. On March 1st at 3 am I received notice that I was charged again. I reached out to them immediately and asked the, to cancel and refund. I have been back and forth with them and they just share their terms of agreement with me and will not cancel (even though on their website they say that they do not ship till the 15th of the month). I am so frustrated with this company and will now have to go through the hassle and expense of returning this box.Save yourself the hassle. The products are disappointing and retuning the items is expensive, their response time is inconsistent, and their customer service is nonexistent.

    I should have read All these reviews first. I thought this was going to be great. So I signed up for the monthly, paid in full up front. Almost $300. My first box come 1 month later. It has an awesome hammock in it. The rest of the stuff was ridiculous. Not full items. Samples! And a sticker!! Really?? Upset with the quality. I wrote and said I no longer wanted any more boxes, and I wanted a full refund, minus the first box. All they did was cancel my renewal. They said no refunds. Not a great way to do business. Back and forth with email correspondence, since that is the only way to get a hold of them. I threatened I would go to BBB if I did not get a refund. Only then they said on February 4th, that in 5-7days my refund will be back on my card. It is now February 18th. Still No refund. Don't waste your time with this subscription. The stuff is not worth your hard earned money.
