    I was charged for a subscription box that was supposed to be sent by the 24th of this month and customer service has not responded to me once. They haven't and appear to not be planning to fulfill my order and have so far scammed me. I am extremely disappointed. Furthermore this company has fake reviews on their website. The recipient, my father in law has a very large backpacking channel and planned to review the gear- that doesn't appear to be happening now. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt but I am now irate.

    Hi Nomadik Member, thank you for bringing this to our attention, per the shipping schedule it was supposed to ship the last week of May. Due to IT issues/update with our shipping software there was a delay and the last week of May / beginning of June we were trying to figure it out- which is why at first CS didn't have a clear timeline, which we apologize for. We took a look at the tickets and can see CS responded to each within a day or two. I can assure you it has shipped and should be delivered soon. I believe ** has replied again and also provided tracking. In addition, I told them to send you a $15 gift card for the hassle/wait because we truly value you as a customer.

    This company sells stolen inventory. The owner stole over $10k in product from my outdoor company. The went against a signed contract to do so, and have become unreachable and uninterested in paying me for my products, which they have already sold to their customers. They are crooks.

    I have an ongoing subscription with Nomadik I would like to cancel. I am unable to access my account. I have tried to use the password reset tool but it does not send an email to my email/spam/trash folders. I have sent two separate emails to their customer service as well as a message in ******** asking for assistance to log in and/or cancel and have received no response.

    Nomadik has been a client of mine for several years and has failed to pay their invoice balance of $25,000 on goods they are currently selling on their website. They are selling our stolen goods and are avoiding us and our lawyers. They have also failed to follow the payment plan that they created. They continue to sell stolen good on their website.

    I emailed The Nomadik 5 times on 12/1 and once on 12/2. In my 12/2 email I made it clear that the preauthorized money was not to be removed from my account because it was not the amount I agreed to pay.The Nomadik responded on 12/1 confirming their charges totaling $177 ignoring my demand to release the funds. They emailed again on 12/2 offering me a discount on my next quarterly. On 12/2, they emailed confirming the cancellation and wrote [t]his will stop any charges to your ****************************** finalized the preauthorization and withdrew $177 from my account on 12/3. Their app stated that the Winter Quarterly subscription would be billed on 12/4. All of this activity occurred before that date.The Terms of Service provide:--You may cancel your Membership at any time.--All cancellation requests must be received by the first day of the month. Cancellation requests received after the first of the month shall take effect the following month.The cancellation policy states: Cancellation policy: Youre in control. Cancel, upgrade, **** or reactivate inside your customer account without needing to contact us. No hidden fees, no contracts.I tried calling The Nomadik but cannot find any contact information online and their website is down.I believe that The Nomadik intentionally misrepresents their discounts to entice people to subscribe to the quarterly and then they make it virtually impossible to cancel the charges for the first subscription. The first reminder of the quarterly subscription is the notification that $177 has been preauthorized on your credit card and this is the first opportunity you have to discover that they never intended to honor the discount for the quarterly subscription.Ive given The Nomadik the opportunity to mitigate their damages by refunding my money and stopping the shipment but, to date, they have refused to do ***** date, The Nomadik has my $177 and has not shipped the order.

    False Advertising.Purchased a box on June 28th stating exactly what was in the "Portable Shower Box" I ordered but then was shipped completely different products in a box they name "Post Adventure Refresh" and on their website the item I got align with the "On the Go" Bundle more than the Shower Theme. I had to reach out to them July 17th asking to ship my box. Finally when I received, I emailed the company explaining the mix up in the boxes they sent me and was told I could spend $50+ to return all the products for a refund which wouldn't is sad and pitiful for a company to say when they have sent out the wrong and misleading products and information. I would not have purchased this product if I knew they would send me a bunch of useless random things that aren't even aligned to what is advertised or what I purchased.

    I had received notification of an order placed without warning or the ability to cancel prior. I immediately contacted them the same day to cancel my order and that I wanted to cancel my membership. They first offered a discount to stay, but when I refused, they informed me that the membership was canceled. They did not mention anything about processing a refund. When I inquired, they mentioned their FAQ page which is vague to begin with and then said that since I didn't cancel before the charge was made, the order will not be canceled. This is bad business etiquette. Every other subscription service I've ever been part of gives a fair warning before charging you and the fact that they refuse to cancel when it hasn't been packed or shipped yet is very suspicious.

    We have received your BBB complaint and reviewed all your correspondences as well. We apologize for the miscommunication about canceling your order and canceling your subscription. We could've asked if you wanted a different box before offering a retention plan for the subscription. We also thank you for your feedback regarding the subscription renewal reminders. Rest assured that we will take these to the proper departments.


    As for your first order, the payment process was completed on May 16, 2024. It was after the monthly 15th cut-off, orders after that will be shipped the next month. The corresponding box was processed June 16th-18th. Usually, we ship Quarterly boxes on the 16th - 18th of the month, if the dates fall on weekends, they are processed the following business day. Once the warehouse prepares them the customer receives a shipping notification.


    Your subscription was also renewed on July 1st, this will then be processed by July 16th - 18th. We heard you do not like the box. Would like to give you options for replacement, would you like to receive the Summer *** (which has a camping stove and water filter tumbler), or receive a Gift Card equivalent to the renewal that you can use to purchase in the Nomadik Shop for items that you prefer.

    Date: April 1, 2024 Order: N-****** I was charged $178.60 for a "quarterly subscription box" advertised to be a value of > $200. First, I would have to disagree with the value listed, I requested a breakdown of the value of the items included to compare and have received no response. While I am unhappy with some of the items I received and their supposed valuation, the actual major issue here I am requesting assistance from the BBB is due to the lack of safety of items they are selling. I immediately reached out to the Nomadik after receiving the box via email and this is part of what I said:"It was an unbelievable waste of money and unsafe. Many of the items included in this pack are EXPIRED! The worst being OVER A YEAR. AND that includes medications. The expired items were found in multiple packs and I cant trust anything other than a giant useless plastic bottle. I have included in this email a picture of some of the expired items youre trying to sell as a part of a wilderness safety pack. "I received no response. It has been well over a month since I first reached out to them and have since submitted several requests for contact through their webpage and via email but have not received a response to any. I included a picture of the items because I am a healthcare professional myself and find it dangerous for companies to sell medications to customers to use backcountry that are actually expired.

    Nomadik is a scam and an awful business. They automatically renew subscriptions with ZERO reminder of renewal. I thought I had canceled my renewal that was purchased the year prior. Normal companies with morals send out reminders if a renewal. This company does not. Their goal is to trap you in. As soon as I saw thr change for 12 months of renewal boxes I contacted them and said I didn't want it. Nothing had been sent to me. Nothing ever was sent to me. But they refused and said no their policy is no refunds for renewals. Ask why they can't refund something. What did I put them out? I'd even pay for one box. But no. They made me keep the entire 12 month subscription. This company needs to be stopped. Over and over and over again you see this exact complaint. It's been brought to their attention but their entire goal is to trap people in. It's sad. And at a time when people are tight on money it's very difficult to swallow.

    I signed for this subscription service on March 9, 2023 and ordered their shower box. On March 13, I ordered their emergency prep box. This is supposed to be a quarterly subscription.On APRIL 1, 2024, I was billed for two additional boxes of each for $166.97 LESS than a month from my orginal subscrption.SO... NOT QUARTERLY and they sent me duplicates of what i had already purchased. I asked to return them and was told no.PLEASE STOP THIS COMPANY Because I am out $333.94 and they refuse to refund me.
