I give it two stars because I'm sure it does taste good. However, it's been 25 days and I still don't have my product. I spoke with customer service they said they ran out of the yellowfin tuna and we're waiting for shipment the first week of February. This was true. They created a label that week but it's still sitting with label created and it's been 7 days. Product still has not shipped. I understand that things happen but because of the shipping issues with this place and seeing all the other reviews I will not order again. Don't worry, losing me as a customer is not a big deal. I'm sure you have other customers that are loyal. I do not require a statement back from this company as to my review. In no way should a product sit for 25 days still not shipped. If they don't have the product when you order online then it shouldn't be offered. If the product is going to be late they should reach out to you and let you know what is going on. They did not do that for me. I had to reach out to them and find out what was going on. They did get back to me within 48 hours so that's why I gave them two stars.

This is a horrible product! It tastes terrible! This is not starkist tuna. It is tough, like eating a leather boot. It seems like they left the fish out on a dock for a month before Packaging it. I don't know how I'm going to finish it. If anybody wants it I will ship it to them.

Never received my order. This is a scam. It says I can request a refund up to 30 days from the purchase date, but its been over 2 weeks since purchase. So I guess the scam is to not send you the items to well past 30 days. Also I called the number and it sends you to voicemail no matter when you call. I want my money back and will be lodging a formal complaint. Order ******

MINCED! THATS WHAT I GOT!When I posted a picture they immediately blocked me. Within five minutes I found twenty four other people who have been duped by this company.Five dollars a can, Three ounce can.Keep that in mind when you're reading all these fantastic reviews. The customer service was rude ignorant and intolerant.Zero help and resolving the matter

We checked all the correspondence with our customer service and can see you were given the option to return the product for a refund, however you chose not to do so. Regarding your claims of customers being duped, that is not accurate. You mentioned seeing 24 people complaining about us, which compared to our over ******* customers is not bad. Unfortunately not everyone will always be happy even though we try our best. We will work even harder to make sure the number of complaints goes down to 0. You also mentioned it is $5 a can and has 3oz. If you see all of our prices available, the price per can varies depending on the pack you buy, which is made very clear. In your case, we can see you got a huge discount and actually paid $3.08 per can. As far as the 3oz, the weight of each can is shown on the website. Each can weighs 4.4oz which includes 3oz of just tuna. We have responded to every single email and comment you have left, even the ones of you threatening our company. We gave you the option of a refund, and you still said no, so we have done everything on our end to resolve the issue.

They have a nice looking fillet on top, thats the picture on website. Under the nice fillet is junk. Bits and pieces of junk. The reason I dont buy Tuna from Grocery store. As far as Im concerned its false advertising showing the picture and saying its fillets. Wont order again thats for sure

    Hello Richard,

The fish is pole and line caught and globally sourced as pole and line caught fish is hard to find. However the majority of our fish is caught in the Pacific near New Zealand. The fish is then processed and canned in our state of the art facility in Vietnam which is the same cannery that processes for Wild Planet. It is then imported into California where it is stored and shipped directly to consumers. The entire operation including the cannery is American owned.

We also explained to you that our cannery is an FDA approved cannery that the FDA visits every year for approval. The FDA clears us for importation and compliance by FDA standard. We meet all the requirements.

I'm a brand new customer, and I just opened my first tin of tuna in virgin olive oil. It was good tuna, not great. In fact I don't think it's any better than Chicken of the Sea tuna. It's true the virgin olive oil is not at all oily, but only the top layer was a filet and underneath was chunk tuna like any other. I don't think it's worth the price, sorry.
