Very frustrating company to work with. They challenge *** submissions every single time even if it's for the same services rendered as previous submissions.

******* organization. Just horrendous. They know it and they don't care.. Completely incompetent. s**** up after s**** up. Messed up payroll so many times. PLEASE use anyone else. this place is a disaster. In addition to their services being terrible, the only thing worse is their support. Don't do what they say, never pleasant. They make going to the *** look like a trip to ******.

surprise fees: just ****** "Trinet Platform Innovation Fee" and enjoy.bad service: good luck getting anything beyond payroll done; PTO took 3 months to deploy. the new shared service model is terrible, and the client service reps are unmotivated and unhelpful; it's like they don't get what client service is at all mediocre medical plans: part of the reason you'd go with a PEO rather than just a payroll provider is access to better plans; these are marginally better than what you can find on the exchange honeymoon rates: get ready for a 20%+ increase in your rates after your first year (maybe we were just naive)

I would give negative stars if possible. Like others have said, TriNet is dishones, unethical, and will charge fees for anything and everything they can. I have been corresponding with them for months about two issues - being charged a fee against an interest payment from the *** that was due to our company, and for the late filing of some paperwork that resulted in a payment that was due to our company. They are unwilling to right the wrongs they have made. We have already fired them as our PEO and I am working with other CPA firms and other contacts to share our story so that no one else has to suffer at the hands of TriNet's unacceptable service.

TriNet are thieves!!!! First, they raised their admin fees from $250/mo to $1,000/**. All I have is health insurance through TriNet and it costs me $1000 per month on top of the cost of insurance just for the right to have health insurance through TriNet. So, I pay over $3,000 a month for a high deductible, crappy health insurance plan of which 1/3 of that cost is admin fees to TriNet. *********************, their SVP of ************* at ******************** said "The fees we charge make up an array of offerings to include, but not limited to, HR support, technology, risk mitigation, organizational management, EPLI, etc." In Decemeber, TRiNet randomly billed me $1000 more for a "Platform Innovation Fee" that they never emailed me about. I thought my $1,000/mo admin fees went towards technology. So TriNet decides to upgrade their platform and passes the cost to their customers? I own a search firm and that would be like me wanting a better database for my firm and sending my clients a bill for $1,000 to pay for it so that I can fill their jobs easier. They would literally laugh in my face! Here's an idea: If you dont have the money to upgrade your platform..DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!! This company is absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!!!

Dear BBB I am writing to you to report that Trinet violated the tax law for **2 reporting and Trinet refused to make changes after we pointed it out.Trinet reported two jobs w-2 on one form for my husband:The first job is from ************** The second job is from Tranquis ****According to U.S. tax law, each employer is required to issue a separate **2 to employees at the beginning of the year. However, Trinet did not comply with U.S. accounting, tax, and payroll laws and combined the **2s from two different companies into one hybrid **2 to save time. This resulted in the *** overcharging our *** as the Turbo Tax considers it as a one-job W2 by using a hybrid **2. I explained to Trinet that I need a separate **2 for two jobs when I file tax returns in early 2022 and 2023. However, Trinet refuses to make changes. The consolidated **2 Statement from Trinet HRIII **** is actually for two companies (two jobs). Trinet is the payroll company for these two jobs that my husband worked. The *** withholding rate for 2022 is 1.1 percent. The taxable wage limit is $145,600 for each employee per calendar year. The maximum to withhold for each employee is $1,601.60. However, Trinet reports that the *** payment is $2,764.*** sent the bill to us for charging the excess *** balance. I spent a lot of time arguing with *** about this issue and finally, *** agreed to my argument and now my balance is $0.I still want to report to BBB as Trinet is not professional violates the Tax law and caused me a huge time loss and energy to argue the *** Bill. This drove me crazy when I was so busy every day. This can be avoided if Trinet is not lazy by sending out two **2sTrinet should not continue to do the business as it violates the Tax law and ignores the clients request which causes huge financial losses for many employees from different companies.

I am pregnant and had to deal with the worst situation in my life. As I was talking to the rep about the Medical Certifications from ****** Care provider and was asking questions in relation to the form, she kept repeating herself stating again and again that it Must be completed by my doctor and myself. The form does not mention nothing abt pregnancy, nor implies it or makes any insinuation, so I was like I am pregnant, this form can probably be provided to them on my hospitals format and not the one she kept pushing me to get completed by the doctor. Not only that but she asked and stated How we we know you are really pregnant ? Nobody should ever go through this situation. This is my miracle baby and a person mush be sensitive. I started crying , was then transferred to another person, her name is ******* and she also stated the form needed to be completed by my doctor and myself. I then called my doctors office explain what was happening and I was crying on the phone as well. My doctors rep stated the way I was being treated is not professional and that she would send me the form on the hospitals format and that TriNet must take that form and not be forcing me to complete the other one. And so I did, I sent the form , completely different format, on my companies letterhead and has all my info. TriNet finally Approved the form and even though I kept asking abt it they never acknowledged their mistake not was I offered an apology on this regard . Needless to say I didnt have a bad day and alimony end up in the ** after how they treated me. I wrote the complaint via email and all they did was ignore them. They will answer all other questions but filias that email entirely. They are not trained in this area Maternity leave they need to train their staff as well on **************** it does not surprise me to see their rating so low on BBB.

Same situation as reported by ****. This is crazy that they can do this and get away with it. I will be seeking counseling and a company like this needs to be avoided. Sending a $1,000 "platform improvement fee" and deducting from the bank account as either you fund the payroll or your employees don't get paid on 12/15 is really bad and I am sure lawyers will love to hear about this case. Avoid a *** like this. It should be 0 starts at this point.

I really wish I had come here when we were still researching PEOs. I can confirm what other reviews below have said about TriNet adding exorbitant fees after the contract has already been signed. Once they have access to your bank, they will simply take the money from you, even if you dispute the charge. Just now, they've assigned a $1500 fee for 2023 that you have to pay, or else you risk not getting your employees paid properly. I've initiated a complaint with the **** and I encourage everyone here to do the same. Please spread the word to anyone you know who is with TriNet. They've just charged you, too - they were just quiet about it (our letter notifying us they were charging 2023 platform upgrade fees went through to spam). There are about ****** of us, and TriNet is just big enough that the *** should be very interested. PS - For all that they are charging for "platform improvement" it's still remarkably unreliable. Negative stars. A total scam.
