  We purchased Cali Floors, Longboards in October 2021. **** sq feet that was professionally installed throughout our entire house. I didnt know much about the company but I felt confident due to their 50 year warranty. About 6 months later, the locking system in multiple boards were broke. Where the two planks meet at the top became separated. And then the sides of the planks did the same. Then the planks started cupping and breaking at the corners and top. The top layer of the flooring is now peeling up. There are jagged pieces of flooring. This happened throughout our entire house, in every room. We contacted Cali Floors because their 50 year warranty. Well that was a joke. They sent someone to "inspect" the floors and of course blamed the issue on us. Our installer followed the directions to ***************** inspector said the subfloor was not level. There are multiple broken planks throughout the entire house. Its not a unlevel subfloor, its an inferior product that does not last. Most recently my daughter cut open her foot on one of the jagged pieces. We have to wear shoes in the house to protect our feet. It is not safe! They have the worst customer service. They deny your claim and offer to sell you more flooring! Why would I want to replace my flooring that didnt last 6 months with the same junk?Do your research. Check out the ******** pages with class action lawsuit with this company. I spent $16,000 on floors that belong in the trash. Avoid! Unless you want to throw money into the garbage like we did.

  ***** was great in helping us find a similar-enough match to a flooring that was discontinued since our last house project in 2014. We really appreciated her assistance, and the flooring is still lovely and durable.

  I'm dissatisfied with the company's return policy. We bought two flooring pieces, but they didn't match our floor's color. Despite not opening the plastic package, we couldn't return them due to a 5-item minimum requirement. While I understand their policy, they should have be clear and honest about this before buying.

  I took a long time to decide on my flooring. Sales rep ************ was patient and helpful, sending requested samples several times. Once I did order, the cartons came when promised and in perfect condition. I have NOT laid the floor yet as I ordered considerably before I needed it because my final choice was being discontinued so I had to act fast. I'll let you know when the floor is in how I like it.

  The customer service was incredible, *** was extremely helpful and friendly. I was grateful that when I requested samples, you sent me similar color options to what I chose so I had more options to choose from. The quality of the material is superb to all of the other floor samples we received from other companies. I give Cali 5/5 but the delivery company service they used could have been a better experience. There was a communication issues with the delivery company and I ended up having to cancel my appointment because they told me I didn't have to be home and then last minute told me I had to be there because the driver needed assistance. The driver needed me to help push the pallets to my door step which I was unaware that I had to do and i'm currently pregnant. I would of scheduled the appointment for a different time so my husband could have been home. I recommend 2 delivery people or informing customer of physical labor required for delivery.

  We purchased and installed Cali Bamboo hardwood flooring in our family room, study and kitchen in early 2021.
  Cali Bamboo warranties the flooring for 50 years but unfortunately for us it didn’t even last more than 50 weeks.
  During the purchase cycle we’re advised what, how much, acclimatize time, what trowel to use etc. While in the purchase cycle they changed their installation process from moisture barrier to glue down and we paid extra for materials & labor to follow their recommendations.
  The flooring was installed with all the recommendations. After 6-7 months we noticed cupping at some places. Very soon after that we noticed buckling at different places. We called the gentleman who helped us but now we were told to go through the warranty department.
  Cali Bamboo sent an ‘expert’ to evaluate our flooring buckling/warping and cupping issue. He compared moisture readings of Cali bamboo floor and wooden cabinets that are installed 4 inches above the floor and concluded that Cali Bamboo flooring is not defective by comparing it to our kitchen wooden cabinets moisture level and noted that our installation is the issue. This absolutely doesn't make sense. The report made false assumptions and is categorically incorrect.
  From our perspective, Cali Bamboo keeps on changing their installation recommendations repeatedly due to similar problems like ours because their hardwood floor installation on concrete floor doesn’t work and they put the blame on the consumer or installer.
  After numerous conversations with their ‘warranty’ representative, the only choice we now have is to rip apart Cali Bamboo flooring from our house and spend another $10K to install a new floor that lasts for at least 30 years like our last floor.
  Based upon the recommendations made during the sales process and our experience with their flooring, If you want to save yourself from financial loss and headache then DO NOT BUY Cali Bamboo flooring.

  My sales contact was very helpful in discussing my project, quickly sending samples, getting the product to me, and answering my installation questions. I was very impressed with the quality of the flooring (engineered bamboo) and the results!
