They did my floor in my Kitchen hallway & dining room. I have made many phone calls to this company requesting I get a copy of the work they in detail and a copy of flooring material that was used. I have been told a number of excuses & also been told that this was being emailed I have never received anything as of yet. Just maybe I should have looked into this company integrity, BBB history, made contact with the Secretary of State Contractor / State licensing board. Pro Star Builders switched out my roof. I paid the $1,000 deposit as required for them to begin the job and then the rest of the payment was turned over Mosaic as a loan. I have not paid them because I am waiting for 2 things ******** Star promised me and never delivered: 1. a warranty on the roof and 2. repair the damage inflicted by the roofing workers during the re-roofing. Several months later, as the **ld season set in, I tried to turn on my heater but it it didn't work. I called a repair man to look at the heater (12-30-2021). He said the safety switch was broken and needed to be replaced. I got a se**nd opinion with the ******************* technician asked me if I've had any roof work done because somebody pushed down the ventilation cap on the roof, which caused the ******** High Limit Switch to break (doing its job) inside the heater so that natural gas won't fill my home since it can't release to the broken ventilation on the roof. He said the ventilation needs to be fixed and safety switch replaced inside the heater. Once that is done, I can call the gas ** back and have them turn my heater on. January of 2022 I was trying to get Pro Star in but then I got Covid and of **urse didn't attempt for over 2 weeks. After that, the weather warmed up and so I didn't worry about the heater. Once fall weather returned, I've been trying to get Pro Star in and it's impossible. Winter is now here and I'm freezing in my own home. They don't return calls after multiple attempts, the one time I did talk to "manager," he did not secure a date for repair and now he is unreachable, the other office staff can't me a date and I get the run-around or not **ntact at all. I have also submitted a **mplaint with Mosaic loan servicer. They **ntacted Pro Star to follow up. ****** sent an email stating that the problem was resolved because Pro Star said they will do the repairs. That email was from over a week ago and nobody has **ntacted me, or will answer my call.Business Response

8/15/22 Start agreed to contract to finish bathroom. $1000 deposit. To be completed by September 25th, 2022.
8/19/22 $5100 additional deposit too moving ahead, demolition continue.
Inspectors from City did not approve construction with builder several times 9/6,9/29,10/4,10/19. Builder/Contractor did not show on occasion. Finally, 10/25 final approval. Construction stopped.

To apply hot mop and install tile on the floor and install glass dor
Inspectin keep failing becouse the shower walls tile falling apart due to rust and mold and it is not part of our agreement
we offer the homeowner to redu the tile walls all the way to cieling new and he refuse
at this point the is a balnce of $6,600 and the homeowner do not wish to make a decision on how to procced
we have 2 option
1 - is to pay us to replace the tile all the way to the cieling

I am filing a complaint for sub-standard work and I would like a refund.
I hired PROSTAR a year ago to remodel my backyard and to date I have paid them $30K. It has been a disaster from start to finish. There have been numerous safety hazards, including leaving my side gate open more than 5 times. This is a huge safety concern, not only did it have my dogs running the streets for 5 or more hours (they were picked up twice by animal control) BUT it had my pool accessible to anyone walking around the neighborhood. Huge safety issues.
I did complain to PROSTAR directly to **************, ************ and *** about the sub-standard work. In my opinion, these men are unskilled and unlicensed to be conducting this type of business. The did send out two contractors to give estimates on the existing work and they both agreed it was not up to code and sub-standard work.
I did file a claim with the ********** STATE CONTRACTORS LICENSE BOARD. I am including a copy of the report provided to me by the industry expert and the Contractors Board for your review. I also included a copy of one of the docusign settlement offers where ProStar admitted to "not good work".
The industry experts report said the work is substandard that appeared to be unskilled, unsupervised and untrained workers. In addition, it will cost $30,180.00 to repair the work in my backyard. I just want them to refund the money back to me, so I can hire a new contractor to repair the damage. Currently, my home is set up to flood and I just want these whole experience to be over.
PROSTAR has also received the same report and they have not reached out to me at all. I have tried several times over the past year to speak to the owner and the contractor whose license they are working under and no one will give me the owners or contractors name or contact information.

I did file a complaint with the Contractors Board but they have still not paid me. They received a copy of the report from the CSB, in my favor, in Aug and did nothing.
I did reach out to Prostar, last week and they said they would be sending the payment this week. As of today, 9.22.2022, I have not received my refund. Once I receive the refund, It will be resolved.
