  Everyone that answers the phone is so nice and helpful. ******* signed us up and talked to my whole family and knew who we were right when we called. Both him and ***** explained everything to us in great detail and spoke to all of us, as if we were their friends. My whole family feels very confident and secure knowing that we have your company to help our grandmother. Thank you for the peace of mind and allowing my grandmother to have her independence.

  Everything was easy except understanding the caller from the main office in **********. Her speech was slightly garbled. But it was clearer when she spoke slowly. ***** was very patient and kind when she helped set up the system.

  I cancelled my order of a Life Alert system 10 hours after I ordered it. I was told it had already shipped. I was instructed to refuse the shipment and when they received it I would be credited. It was not. When I called today about the charge on my credit card, she screamed at me that it was nonrefundable, and hung up on me. Another person I spoke with said he was going to call my children, that I was unable to make decisions. Im 71, educated, active and live alone, but I am deaf. This appliance was to take burdens off my children, not add to them. The original saleswoman was excellent, but everyone I have spoken too trying to resolve this issue has been unprofessional, and rude. I purchased the same device from another company that is kind and knowledgeable at half the monthly fee, with no contracts. Please look at your options before ordering from Life Alert.

  Although we have no recorded calls indicating what you described, we do apologize that you felt you had a bad experience with Life Alert, the ONLY medical alert company proven to save a life every 11 minutes. 
  
  We understand that money is tight for many people right now, that is why Life Alert is the ONLY medical alert company that offers a PRICE GUARANTEE service agreement promising that we will not raise your prices or have hidden fees like the other guys.  Many of the other companies with no contracts will promote one price but then raise the prices later on. 
  
  Moreover, we have hundreds of people joining Life Alert after being with another company because their devices were either not charged or on the charger, which is leaving them unprotected.  Life Alert devices never need charging, so you remain protected 24/7. 
  
  We understand wanting to go with a cheaper company, but in the long run, it may cost you more than your moneyit could cost you your freedom, **************** much more.  If ever you decide to come back to us, we will do our best to ensure that all of our representatives remain professional, friendly, and courteous.
