ASUS has great products in my experience, but their customer support is terrible. I have always enjoyed their products and even built my own PC using most of their items. However, I bought a gaming notebook and 3 months in, I had issues with the computer turning on but the screen would stay black. I sent it in and they returned it without doing anything to fix it. I sent it back, they replaced the *** panel but sent me the wrong charger. I had sent them the original charger went I sent it in for repairs. They will not reimburse you to buy one. You have to wait for them to ship you one after you pay for shipping to send the wrong one back. I had to order one from amazon using the specs from the website. Now, I have screen tearing when I use the charger. They want me to send it back again for repairs. I'm already over a hundred dollars in shipping fees. Their customer support repeats the same lines over and over and they honestly don't care. Even their supervisors do exactly what their normal employees do and still do not help you resolve your issues. Apology after apology but no one actually does anything useful. Just pay shipping fees and hope they don't mess up again. They have no way to contact anyone higher up or leave a complaint. I will never buy a ASUS product again. I understand stuff malfunctioning but this whole experience has left me completely frustrated with no hope of ASUS actually doing anything to make it right. I will be surprised if I get my charger they are suppose to send. Time to cut my losses.

ASUS BAD CUSTOMER TECH SUPPORT I made a reasonable purchase for an Asus PB60G Mini PC. The purchase was made in March 2021. In trying to upgrade my internet the Ethernet device didn't work. ********************' reps were incompetent. They would not help. First, they detoured me to ********** After both ******** and ********* couldn't assist, they blamed an unused non-working ethernet input on me not having the warranty. I made them aware that I'm suffering from homelessness and literally trying to assert a trillion-dollar project from my position. Then, to top it off, they wasted at least 3 hours of my time. During the communications after full verification they called the device the wrong name, then they called it a laptop. The supervisor then identified the Network reset as a factory reset which could cause a major issue with any person's data. Their final answer was to try to get me to back up 600GB of data.

Bought an ASUS ROG STRIX Z79-A WiFi Motherboard In 11/2022. First build in 12/2022. Unstable boot (Work sometimes and sometimes would NOT boot requiring several attempts. Returned Motherboard to ASUS. They claim Motherboards are not repairable and they will send replacement. Received a second Motherboard. This one WOULD NOT POST (forget about boot up). Tried several things under guidance of support tech. NO GO. Sent the motherboard back (second return). Received a THIRD Motherboard. They claimed it was tested and works fine. Assembled my system - WOULD NOT POST. Disconnected ALL components except CPU and memory. WOULD NOTY POST. QLED Lights cycle from white to red and back again in an infinite loop. They asked me to send it back AGAIN. THIS is a lousy product and ASUS Warranty seems to be an exercise in endless shipments back and forth of the Motherboard with NO GUARANTEE it will work. So much for ASUS Warranty. I would NOT recommend ever buying any products from ASUS. I certainly do not intend to do so. Do it at your own risk.

For the last 6 years I have been building custom desktops for people and I would always recommend asus rog to anyone who wanted high end, and I have bought and built several all mostly asus components desktops for myself literally spent tens of thousands with this company!!! Then I got an asus rog zephyrus g14 gaming laptop and it died almost immediately!! This was during covid, every time I tried to get it rmad asus said I need to register the product to use the warranty, every time I tried to register it I was unsuccessful, finally I got through to someone and they said they would make a one time exception for me and push it through without registering it because I'm such a loyal customer, so basically they refused to read till warranty was over!!! What BullShit!!! They wouldn't even attempt to repair it, claimed it needed a new motor and it was gonna cost more than brand new!!! Needless to say I will NEVER buy another asus anything!!! Nor will I recommend asus!!! I won't even build an asus product for someone else!!! Asus lost me and all my customers for life!!!

I recently bout a **** dollar gaming desktop for for my son for Christmas. The first time the pc was taken out of the box we hooked everything up just to find out the pc didnt work. I purchased the pc through ASUS online they will not exchange it for another just like it apparently the warranty doesnt cover replacement on a brand new unit. Anyway the customer ********************** with the company is absolutely horrible its like they are brainwashed to say the same thing over and over. Even their supervisors dont know or cant tell me anything on the status and apparently you cant speak to anyone higher. This company is a joke and I will not recommend this company to anyone. You talk about a kid with a broken heart on Christmas morning and cant find out the status of a pc that you spent **** dollars on. They keep saying they are gonna escalate the case but nothing is done. If I purchased a pc at Best Buy or ******* or target I would be able to go exchange it for a replacement of the same model. Asus has the worst customer ********************** I ever dealt with. STAY AWAY!!!!

I have a ASUS gaming laptop and the fan problem is a very widespread issue in there laptop lineup. It is a hardware issue from the manufacturer and they won't issist on telling you so. Good luck getting support from ASUS since they will charge you for anything even for diagnostic itself even though they know it is there issue from the start. My screen also has light bleed and dead pixel and I advise everyone to check the quality of product before it ran out of return day. Otherwise working with ASUS will be long and difficult, and you won't be able to return the product if it is out of return policy for the place you purchased from. I'm pretty dissapointed in ASUS overall.

In January 2022, i built a desktop computer i made sure the components were compatible by using a site called 'PC Part Picker'. I purchased the ASUS 'ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero ATX AM4' main board for $429.00. The main board had a problem and RMAd back to ASUS, three different attempts were made by ASUS with three different RMS and no fix. I did some research to find other boards that were compatible with my CPU. I found another ASUS model 'ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F' for $189.99. The new model is working fine with no issues. The difference in cost between the two boards is $239.01 i contacted ASUS for a refund of the difference. ASUS support informed me their policy does not allow refunds. ASUS RIP OFF

I am a systems integrator and use lots of ASUS motherboards. My experience with ASUS, is that the product is generally good, but if you ever need support with anything, then you are basically on your own. Why does a company like ASUS have such bad customer support?
