We had a great experience with Efficient Construction. They were honest and did what they said they would. They explained every step of the process and effectively communicated during the entire project.

Efficient Construction (or I should say Inefficient Construction) is a scam. I had my roof replaced almost 2 years ago but never got a copy of the permit. They said that they passed final inspection, which the did NOT as it was never scheduled with our city department. They are liars, cheats and undependable. They do not keep their appointments, not do they communicate with their customers. Even after repeatedly requesting that they provide me with the permit, cost breakdown, where the 15% discount came into play and their warranty, they have still refused to supply with what I requested. I now owe $19k on a roof that they provided the warranty for, nor have they provided a "signed" copy of the permit. They send their workers in their own personal vehicles that cannot even carry a ladder that can reach a one story roof, but the workers also consume alcoholic beverages on the job. They dropped tools/roofing materials on my car that they never disclosed to me causing hundreds of dollars in damage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Please read the reviews, and take notice that they have had judgements against them, and now they have even changed their name. Don't be mislead, do your homework. I HAD to leave a STAR Rating just so I could post this review, but, believe me, they don't even deserve 1 star.

Efficient Construction is the most unprofessional company I have ever hired. They have no interest in customer satisfaction or the quality of their work. They were often non-responsive to my requests for updates. There was never a lead or supervisor onsite resulting in the crew having to return several times for corrections. There was also never a lead present when the city inspector came to complete the permits. The original lead used his girlfriends phone to communicate with me. When I attempted to schedule an appointment with a supervisor to voice my complaints, I was told to call back after the weekend because he would likely not respond as it was his birthday. I strongly do not recommend this company and I recommend looking up their license prior to hiring them.

Long story short, my wife and I hired them to build an ADU. Two years later, it hasn't been built, all they did was demolish a "structure" (Storage with a bathroom). They almost never answer calls or texts. ***** and *** were out sales contact, and promised the project to be done in 3 months (we knew that wasn't going to happen), ****** promised answers, but nothing came from it. Last person we talked to was *****. I was informed ****** and ***** were company owners. The last conversation was with *********************, and he claimed my wife had cancelled the project. We have text messages proving our conversations. So basically they probably underestimated the project and didn't want to do it. ***** texted me saying "we have no reason to turn down business" well we have no reason to pay them $12,000 to knock down a structure we need and then cancel.

In November 2022 Efficient Construction committed elderly financial abuse to an 88 year old lady who wanted to update the windows in her home.Efficient Construction's sales representative created a order for 3 windows with an outrageous charge of $5000! The representative didn't give an itemized invoice with the breakdown of the charges for the 3 windows, but executed a third party loan for the $5000 and had the elderly lady sign a document for the loan to the third party lender.Once a worker for the elderly lady discovered the Contract for the windows, Efficient Construction was contacted for an explanation for the extremely high cost for 3 basic windows.A representative from Efficient Construction did contact the elderly lady about the Contract.A meeting was scheduled to discuss the bogus Contract and to demand action to resolve this elderly financial abuse claim. The demand was to provide a proper invoice for the work completed for the 3 windows and to provide reasons "WHY" a loan from a third party was necessary for this job. After meeting with Efficient Construction representative (co-owner), the demand for a resolution was made once again... The demand was to cancel the the third party loan and to provide a proper invoice for the work completed for the 3 windows. The co-owner has never provided an invoice, but did offer to give a full refund for the windows plus give the 3 windows complimentary for the financial abuse to the elderly lady. The demand to cancel the third party loan has not been resolved and would like for the Better Business Bureau to assist in resolving this important matter.Since the windows were offered complimentary, then the loan should be nullified without any negative effects on the elderly lady's credit. The third party loan company is now reviewing the complaint.

This has to be one of the most unprofessional company's out there. Got a knock at the door claiming they were in the neighborhood giving someone else a quote. They offered a free quote on a roof install which I agreed too. They showed up and gave me their whole show and how great they are. They gave 3 price quotes starting with 1 year locked, 1 month rate, to a 1 time only deal. Well that one time only deal was to good to be true I guess.Well, we agreed on a price of $19,000 for my roof to be replaced on 03/15/23. We did all the paperwork including signing a contract. They were going to start the work ASAP, in which the sales person said it should take them 2 weeks to start. 3 different guys came out to check the roof and measure so that they could order materials. Well 3 weeks passed and no start time. I called the sales rep to see what the hold up was, in which she replied that they were very busy at the moment.Fast forward to a month and a half later.....I called our rep to see what was going on. She ended up showing up to my house to apologize on the hold up. That she was gonna get someone out here soon. Well a week past from the visit and I finally got in contact with them. She proceeded to tell me that they cannot honor my contract because of "Prices went up on material and they want me to pay $3000 more. It doesn't benefit them anymore to do the job". What kind of bait and switch c*** is this. I'm sure if I would have bailed from the contract they would've tried to go after me. I asked the sales rep to have her manager or boss call me and to this day I have not received any phone calls. Thanks to this company I even lost my first quote from the other company that was originally gonna do the work.Be careful with this so called company that from the looks of things and other reviews will not honor their prices.

They lack integrity, character and honesty. Pressure tactics to get you to sign. It's obvious they work on commission, doubling or even tripling the cost of a project. The fact that they're not registered with the BBB, speaks volumes. I question the laborers, I think they are simply day workers picked up from nearby building supply companies. It all depends upon the team who gets your order/requests. All of these guys are not scandalous, but, the ones who are still have to live with their unscrupulous tactics. I do believe that you reap what you sow, and it's only a matter of time before this industry is in the limelight, exposed for all the lies, deception and theft it has perpetrated upon the hard working citizens of *******!
