I am afraid of writing too much information, I have so much to tell. I purchased as-is travel trailer 8/27/22. 1) Took Months and many calls/texts to get the title. Filed complaint with DMV. They gave a warning.2) Parts were identified and missing @ time of sale. I was promised parts would be cheap, and they were not. I paid for them, and after enough nagging about a hundred phone calls, texts and emails, the dealership reimbursed me months later.3) I wanted to opt out of purchasing the warranty. Finance said in so many words that their warranty is much better than all the others and other would say it's a pre-existing condition; whereas theirs would not because of the rigorous inspections are certified. So I continued with the offered warranty. 4) Leak occurred 3 months after ownership, ruined $800 bed. Tried to use the warranty, was denied. Intervention took place and warranty covered the claim. I'm trying to cash out my warranty because after reading it more closely, they throw random words in the middle of a section confusing the reader explaining it's not covered. IE I had to cover the costs of the repairs when I cash out warranty.5) Dealership advertises 70 point inspection on their website. It is very clear to me and the repair shop the roof damage by prior owners would have been discovered in an inspection. Dealership refuses to provide copy of the inspection. My fault for not going up a wobbly ladder and looking myself! 70 point inspection and promises were made and were false! 6) Salesperson promised to make cosmetic repairs to the interior before I picked it up. 75% of them were not complete. I was told it was impossible to accomplish this.7) I was offered to bring in the current trailer and exchange for another. They wanted the delta in cost and I refused.8) Practice is disclosing sale price is questionable. Salesperson quoted $2K higher than sticker saying it was the lowest price.8) I have dozens of pieces of backup. Will supply upon request.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new RV on September 24th from Johnson RV ************* I live ****************** only able to see the vehicle thru ******** prior to us flying in on September 24th. Upon arrival there were some issues with the car. There were some damage on cabinets, the automatic vent hood did not open, and the outside of the vehicle had some dents. I spoke to the manager who made a call to ***** and said that they would get it covered under warranty since this was a new 2021 unit that had been unable to be sold and according to them had only been in the showroom. Although I was not happy to say the least that a "New" vehicle had these issues I decided to proceed with the sale since they assured me it would be covered under warranty. On our way ************* we discovered more issues. The AC stopped working, the outside of the car had major dents on both sides of the car which are only visible when the car is outside which is why we did not notice it since the car was inside the showroom when we saw it. In addition to this one of the seatbelts is missing the hardware, and there is panel damage on the interior cabinets. I have tried to get assistance from Johnson RV on multiple occasions and also from ***** but I have been unsuccessful. To make matters worse we had planned to go camping for my sons birthday this weekend and now we cannot use our "New" RV. I am extremely upset about the fact that a "New" car is having so many issues, not to mention that all of these cosmetic issues should of been resolved prior to my arrival. Why should I have to deal with warranty issues on a new car right after I buy it? To make matters worse Johnson RV seems to be washing their hands and just sending me to *****. This was a very expensive car which I am already paying interest on and cannot use it not to mention I am having to waste time off work to take it in for warranty work!Initial Complaint

I paid for a **************** Protection policy when I purchased my RV **************. When I refinanced my RV loan my policy was rendered invalid. I attempted to get a pro rated refund on my policy (roughly $1,000) but was told that since ****************** Johnson RV they were not obligated to honor my claim. This claim was honored in part by the underwriting company but they were only obliged to refund a small portion saying the rest was the responsibility of the dealership. Unless *********** declared bankruptcy and had their debts discharged, I believe Johnson RV is still obligated to honor my contract which states a prorated refund is allowed in the event of cancelation. I would like Johnson RV to honor this claim or to explain why they are not required to honor it. I would be happy if instead of a refund a store credit in the same amount was awarded to me.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/09/12) */ Thank you for your inquiry regarding this issue. Unfortunately, Johnson RV ******************* They are two distinct and individual companies. Any items purchased through *********** did not transfer over to Johnson RV. The *** products offered by Johnson RV are unique and separate from those that were previously offered by ***********. It is our understanding ***********'s books may still be open. We recommend researching and placing your inquiry to them directly or utilizing *** or any other source to manage your correspondence. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/09/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) As of today, 09/23/2022,the Johnson RV ************************************************************** States "************ IS NOW PART OF THE JOHNSON RV FAMILY OF DEALERSHIPS!" To me, this does not seem to indicate that ********* and Johnson are "two distinct and individual companies" as indicated by Johnson's response to my complaint. In fact it seems perfectly logical to assume that contracts signed by ********* would now be "assigned" to Johnson RV as indicated in the assignment clause of the contract we signed. Consumer Response /* (3000, 16, 2022/09/25) */ ***Document Attached*** Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2022/10/03) */ We understand your frustration in finding resolution. Since Johnson RV is a different business under different ownership, Johnson RV also offers *** through an entirely different company. Johnson RV does not have any relationship with the *** company ******** used. As previously mentioned, the ******** corporation still exists, and we recommend contacting them directly to seek resolution. Consumer Response /* (4200, 20, 2022/10/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The "******** corporation still exists" reply without any contact information is not a legitimate response. I can find NO information about this company. I wonder if I am even speaking with an adult at this point much less a professional. Business Response /* (4000, 22, 2022/10/26) */ We do not appreciate your insulting comments. We are struggling to find a way for you to understand that you purchased your coach from a different company who simply operated from the same location. Johnson RV did not sell you your coach or complete any paperwork with you. We cannot make decisions based upon your business dealings with a different company. It would be the equivalent of approaching **** with an issue about your ******* service if they happened to operate out of a facility previously occupied by *******. That being said, we researched further and found ********* RV was operating under *******************************************. There is an address listed under the************************ State website for Business Search.
