  Just ordered a tablet (grave-marker) for my Great-Grandfather who was laid to rest 55 years ago at Forest *************. For reasons unknown to me, nobody in my family ever thought to place a marker after his passing in 1969. ************, my Planning Advisor at Forest Lawn, was super professional and so very helpful in assisting me with my objectives. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of memorial planning or mortuary services of any kind. Top notch professional. ????

  Great Uncle and Aunt died in 1959 and 1980, respectively. Immediate family had the shared plaque engraved with the uncle's information, but neglected to follow up for the aunt. There are no more immediate family members, and I as the great-niece & living nearby to ****, Glendale, was allowed to complete the plaque with proper engraving. Our family thanks Forest Lawn. I was seen within 3 days of making my request...very prompt!

  I am very disappointed in the service I received at Forest Lawn Cypress. From the initial meeting and all the way thru the planning process. I was the first appointment time in the morning and was still made to wait over 15 minutes past our appt time. After making all the arrangements, Forest Lawn did not do anything they said they were going to do. I tried reaching out to the counselor I met with. He does not answer his phone or return phone calls. I tried calling and asking for a supervisor or someone else to help me. I was told no one else could help me. If we didn't already have a family plot purchased, I would definitely be going somewhere else. I am shocked and disappointed in the level of service this place provides. I would recommend finding a different place to take your loved ones.

  My name is *************************** or *************************. Others know me as ********************************************** of Saint ****** ************ who dated and married *****************************, the **** of Pop, while I was in high school. In the early ****s, ******* and I met with the Forest Lawn staff at ********, ********** when we both lived at the Neverland Valley Ranch in **********. Our marriage certficate and birth certificates were placed there for the staff to verify our identities and help us plan our funeral. The point of first contact was me, the lawful wife put in charge of all funeral arrangements, not ********************************* or *************************. A person who called me after news of his death identified himself as someone from Forest Lawn where ******* and I deposited $50,000 each to have me transported from the east coast to the west coast if I was still "stationed" in *********** to work as *************************** or Princess *** of the Mohegans by Fort ******* commanders. However, Forest Lawn reneged on our agreement to consult with me and transport me to ********** if *****************************, my husband, died. To date, there are no plans by Forest Lawn to help me and *******'s in laws with the grieving process that includes the emotional trauma of losing *******, my friend, confidant, agent, and husband since ****. ******* and I got married on June 25, **** in ********, *******. We were happily married as man and wife. Many in ******************** knew we were married and supported us as couple. So Forest Lawn had more than enough reasons and witnesses to pay for transportation for me and my family in ** to be at the funeral. Instead, a person who claimed they worked at Forest Lawn began assaulting our faces and bodies. And they had others inflicted more emotional traumas by taking our homes, jewelry, and cash. So I requested a refund of my deposit of $50,000 to Forest Lawn. And I also wanted the $50,000 my husband deposited so that both of us are buried together to rest in peace and prosperity.

  Very wonderful advisor, *******************, explained to us the benefit of the advance preparation in case we died. Very patient and easy to understand her explanation, and she listen to our comments and questions.

  It is not an easy thing to prepare for ones own demise from this world.Forest Lawn is a very beautiful place to be buried. The grounds are meticulously cared for. And the theme statues are just out of this world. You feel like you are in an outside museum in certain areas.My advisor ********************************** made the process so seamless for me. She took the time to show me around the cemetery and I never at any time felt rushed. That was very important to me. All my questions were answered. I also never felt pushed to buy anything. When I say she took her time I mean a lot of time. I was there more than once to see the place. And Im one who doesnt make up my mind easily.********************* treated me as if I was her family at every point.I am so happy that I choose Forest lawn.********************* is truly an embodiment of what I feel Forest Lawn stands for. compassionate and caring end of life care. She is very professional and an asset to that establishment.Thank you ********************* appreciate you so very much.
