    AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS I sent in my Canon 1D X for repair, which took 2 months. This process was frustrating due to poor communication, which should have been a sign of things to come. Upon receiving my repaired camera, I began to use it completely as normal. Then, while still under the Companys Warranty Window, out of nowhere, the 1D X stopped working in exactly the same way it did before. I informed the Company and sent it in for the same repair on September 26, 2024. Since then I have heard nothing other than:Your request has been received.Customer service representative will email you the repair status within 1-2 business days.This exact correspondence has happened 3 times already.This company is run by ********, please avoid them at all costs.

    HELP!After scouring the web for a place that repairs Canon digital cameras, I found the Camera Repair Center's site, and wrote to them, requesting an estimate for a needed repair on my G10 model camera. They said they'd do it, and asked that I send my camera with a check to pay for the repair. I sent what they requested, in good faith. In February 2023, they sent back my camera- claiming it was repaired. They actually made it worse. After calling them, and e-mailing some pictures taken with it (which showed the continuing problems- plus the fact that they ruined the focus), we agreed I'd mail it back to them (at my expense). After they received it, I've been in a constant struggle with them not only to get the work done, but to get straight answers. This has been going on for more than a year and a half, and I've had enough of unanswered e-mails and evasive phone conversations. I've saved numerous e-mails, primarily my attempts to get a basic and promised (and paid-for) repair done. I'm writing to you, at my wit's end, and in need of some help. I've been defrauded!Thank you. PS- I've only recently seen customer reviews of **********************, and that has only added to my intense regret for having trusted them. I'm out of my camera and my money. Can you help?

    SCAMMERS!!!I requested a quote for internal lens cleaning, they offered the services for a very low price and once they received the camera they came up with a very expensive quote, saying that the **** low pass filter and the focus sensor were damaged. My fault was not checking the reviews previously, as these scammers do the same every time. Reading the reviews I realized that if I didn't pay the surcharge or if I canceled the repair order they would probably damage the camera before shipping it back to me, so I had to pay for my hostage camera. After received the camera back I took it to a different repair center and guess what: They never replaced anything because the camera was working correctly when they received it. DO NOT SEND YOUR CAMERAS TO CAMERA REPAIR CENTER!!!

    While it seems as if they do actually repair some cameras, this business is also clearly a scam. They pretended to repair my camera and then sent back an empty package, claiming it had been lost in transit. On discussion with **** the package was empty when given to **** The process of getting a replacement was a nightmare, involving dozens of back and forth emails and arguments. Eventually, after threats of complaining to the Better Business Bureau, legal threats through California small claims court, opening credit card disputes (ALWAYS PAY BY CREDIT CARD), etc. they yielded and sent me a camera. It was a horrendous experience, and by looking at other reviews, they clearly regularly scam people.

    Sent my camera in and their repair cost was more than buying the camera new. I then paid them the full amount they requested to return my camera and they've not sent my camera back after 3 weeks of receiving my payment. They keep the return postage funds AND my camera. These are absolute thiefs operating as a legit business and the ************************* should investigate. After I complained, this business actually called my mobile and began to berate me over my camera cost complaint, sincerely the worst company I've ever dealt with, can't believe they can stay in business but it appears they work by keeping your postage return payment they request AND they keep your camera. ******, this is a business run on fraudulent ***********.

    My experience with this company is similar to many of the other reviews. I sent them a zoom lens in mid-September, 2023, along with a check for $244, for repair of a focusing ring that did not engage. After several inquiries I finally received my lens back in mid-February, five months after sending them my lens. Although the focusing ring had been replaced, the lens does not focus either manually or on auto-focus. I have emailed the company twice asking them to take the lens back and fix it or give me a refund, since the service I paid for was not provided. It has been radio silence. This company is slow, unresponsive, and fails to provide the services contracted for. Needless to say, I will never use them again.

    I wish I had read these reviews before using this company. I sent in my camera on 12/9./23 for repair. After asking for a status of repair on 12/14/23, I received an email on 12/15/23, saying the camera was repaired, but was going through a quality inspection. When I requested a status of the return of my camera on 12/30/23, I received a standard response that a serice representative will be back to me in 1-2 days on 1/2/24 After not hearing from them, I again requested a status of the return of my camera on on 2/3/24, I sent a request for status through their website on 2/26/24, I received a standard email saying a service representative will be back to me in 1-2 days. I have not heard from them since (it is now 3/19/24). I am sending them another request for status today.

    I got my Digital Canon Camera body wet, as indicated by the wet battery indicator, which stayed on even when I replaced the old battery with a dry battery. I approached the Camera Repair Cener and told them about Wet Battery indicator staying on. I was provided an estimate of $112. I shipped the camera body to the repair center. On receipt, the business upped the estimate to $229.26. I stated the estimate was unacceptable and the camera body should be returned without repair. The repair center wanted me to pay another $40 or so if I wanted my camera body back, While I paid for the shipping my item to them, they refused to pay for the shipping for the return. They refused and kept the camera body.In my opinion, the business is not trustworthy and ethical, and I suggest not to deal with this Camera Repair Center (1947 ******************., ********, ** *****) unless you want never to see your repair item again.

    I mailed three camera lenses to this company more than two months ago to have them cleaned and calibrated. I was promised they would be ready well over a month ago but, after many emails to the company (which got auto replies and sometimes no reply at all) they are FINALLY set to arrive tomorrow, but only two of the three. I had to keep asking and asking if the lenses were ready to be shipped and kept being put off or ignored entirely. I called and got someone who told me that the ********** could not be adjusted to factory specs but given no indication when, or even if, the lens would ever be repaired or returned to me. I doubt it ever will be and I sincerely doubt the two lenses that are supposedly being returned have been cleaned and adjusted even though I have paid already with a cc--$112 per lens. This company should be avoided at all costs! This company is either patently crooked or patently incompetent.

    Do not use this company under any circumstances. They quoted $112 to replace a broken hinge on a **** camera. After receiving the camera, the cost to repair it suddenly jumped to over $268 with no explanation. Since the cost to repair was more than the cost of the camera I requested they return it. They then sent me an invoice for a $68 inspection fee. Naturally I told them where they could stick their invoice and just ordered a new camera. Again, do not use this company.
