  Quite surprised with all of the negative reviews! Regardless, I took a chance and sent them my broken Canon EOS ***** f/2.8 L IS USM lens because it was just too expensive to replace! I couldn't find anyone else to work on it because it's so old. So I completed the online forms and mailed it to them. What did I have to lose but a few bucks?Two weeks after I gave the approval they notified me via email that the repairs were done and provided me with several options for payment, even by check! I paid by credit card through their Paypal link. The total was $369.26. Two parts had to be replaced; the power diaphragm and the mounted circuit board. They also cleaned, recalibrated and realigned the lens. It works great!Don't count on the 3-to-5-day turnaround if you're shipping your item to them. It might take them that long to turn it in house but, with shipping, it's more like 2 to 3 weeks. For me, it was worth it! I highly recommend Camera Repair Center! Just be patient.

  Do not send ANY gear to this shop.They gave a low quote for basic lens repair on a Canon FD lens, raised the price after I shipped it, took their sweet time "fixing" the lens, yet they failed to do even the most basic repair to obvious and visible damage on the optics.They demanded payment before they shipped the item (which they delayed a week after creating shipping tracking details).I was able to get a partial refund, but I should have filed a fraud case with my credit card company for the full amount, because they DID NOT perform the services they invoiced. The lens was returned in identical condition.

  DO NOT SEND YOUR CAMERA HERE My camera had a bit of a fall, as they do, and malfunctioned. I googled **** Camera repair, and these guys came up. Their site says quick turnaround (3-5 days). I sent my camera priority overnight on 8/15/23 and they received it 8/16/23. They never communicated once about receiving it. At this point, I have no idea who has my camera. I saw that it was signed for, but that could have been some homeless person. I emailed a few times, and finally on 8/24/23 they sent an email letting me know what the issue was and the cost. So 8 days after receiving my camera they communicate. I approve the repair cost, because what else can I do this point. And on 9/1/23, they then tell me the part is back ordered. A week later on 9/8/23, they tell me the camera has been repaired. On 9/11/23, they tell me its ready to be shipped. On 9/18/23, I finally get my camera back. I turn it on and it all looks good. So I thought. I use my camera at a wedding and the first problem is that every time I change the batteries, the camera asks for date/time. And the 2nd issue is when I looked at the video files, the footage is upside down. How the heck does that pass their inspection??? I emailed them to tell them this and they say to ship it back to them. They dont offer to send me a label or anything. No real apology. I emailed them back to say they should pay for overnight shipping and its been crickets ever since. I urge everyone to never use this company. They absolutely **** at their jobs on all aspects of their business.

  Sent my Canon T6i Lens in for repair after being clickbaited to think i was on Canon's page. I was quoted a low initial repair price but after shipping it to them was told it would be twice the price. I did some research and was concerned by the negative reviews so tried calling probably 10 times In 2 days. Call doesn't even ring, just went to voicemail with no way to leave a message. After explaining to my husband, he called from his phone and they returned his call same day but not mine. He put me on the line and i explained why i was concerned (this person laughed at me for thinking they might not be a ligit business) They tried assuring me it would be fine and would email more info later. They responded with the new estimate. I did call them again about this and it actually rang through. The person tried assuring me they were above board and would call me back for a video call I requested (before I paid) showing my camera was repaired, in good working order and was in fact my camera. So In this aspect of their customer service I was very pleased. So overall, even though I didn't agree with how it happened or the change in price... I did receive my camera back in working order. For that, I'm thankful. The stress it caused... not so much.

  Sent my Canon Elura *************** for repair. After their check of my equipment I received an estimate for repair and cleaning in the amount of$240.00. Customers are only able to contact repair staff via e-mail, this business won't take any calls from customers. After a 5 week turnaround, I finally received my equipment back. When I attempted to playback a cassette, the audio was broken and hard to understand. The video quality was terrible! Roughly 2 minutes into the second tape, the camera failed and wouldn't playback cassette tapes. VERY disappointed in the service and communication ( or lack thereof) from this company. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone.

  Sent my camera in for repair, they wrote back that the box was empty upon arrival. I'm finding it very hard to believe some would bother opening a sealed box to steal a broken camera,

  PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE **** AND MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE - this is not being said out of revenge You will regret doing business with this company - they operate a scam of bait&switch, promising an estimate and then increasing the final value without justification. Service performed is very poor and camera is returned solled and not working properly. I made the mistake of complaining to them, got my name "flagged" and they refused payment with CC. Ofcourse now they can do a bad service and I am left with no defense resources after forced to use Zelle. All part of the scam All the bad reviews are true and just trying to save you from doing same mistake - doing business with them Please stay away and if you get in troubles file a complaint with IC3.gov

  I recently got back my canon 5d mark 4 for a shutter replacement. They did a pretty good job on it and cleaned and serviced my camera as well. I sent it July 20h and got it back todayAaugust 4th.They responded to me accordingly and sent the bill to pay once the repair was finished. They had excellent service and I would totally recommend them again.

  I sent my Canon lens in to be fixed which arrived at camera repair June 17th. Six weeks later I received the lens back with exactly the same problem as when I sent it. I called them up and they said there are no refunds even though they didn't repair my lens. Poor show. I should have sent it to Canon directly. Now they want me to send it back but I have no trust in their service.
  Looks like I will lose my money because there's no chance I'm risking sending it back to them. I would certainly NOT recommend this place to any other photographer.

  I contacted Repair Center about my lens not focusing, They emailed me back said the estimate was $112.00. I got an email that they estimated cost was $249.12. I told them I did not accept it. didn't get an answer. I told them to return my Lens nothing from them to date.
