      I am immensely pleased with the services provided by Solar Optimum. Despite the rush due to *** rule changes, they completed the entire solar panel installation process in just two months. ******'s meticulous planning laid a solid foundation for the project. The permitting process was efficiently handled by *************************, ***********************, ***************************, and *************************, ensuring all necessary permits were in place. *********************************** guided me through the *** application process, securing my grandfathering into the *** 2.0 rate plan. The installation phase was led by ***************************** and *************************. Their workmanship was top-notch, resulting in my solar system passing inspection on the first attempt. Post-install support was provided by *************************, who secured the Permission to Operate from PG&E within just two days. I am truly impressed by Solar Optimum's professionalism, efficiency, and commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a solar panel installation. A big thank you to the entire team for making this process smooth and stress-free!

      Solar Optimum is super easy to work with and made the whole experience seamless. And they do a ton of follow-up in order to maintain the experience going forward!

      Terrible Company and Dishonest People, Made Me Lose NEM2 Status Solar Optimum gave me a contract price so I signed up with them to qualify for NEM2. Then they came up with this roof reinforcement that was necessary for before installing the system on my roof. They have a roofing division that does roof related work. Other contractors were able to install without any roof modifications. The contract price with this change went up by roughly 50%. I switched to another party and asked Solar Optimum to give me access to the application so I can still have my NEM2 status. They did not. They did not refund my deposit either. They wasted my time telling me this and that about how the switchover can be via PG&E and the new contractor (as far as I know those are not possible). Because of them, now I have to do a NEM3 application which as you all know is next-to-zero value for energy fed back to the grid. Solar optimum is a terrible solar company to work with. They will change the contract on you and will suggest expensive roof modifications you wouldn't need (but their roofing sister company needs). They also subcontract their work. Run as fast as you can from this company. You have been warned!

      We appreciate your feedback. We do apologize for the misunderstandings and acknowledge the *** deadline was a hectic time to go Solar.. Per our conversation today ( with our customer service team member)- You DO still have *** 2.0 with us and after consulting with some specialized installers in your area - we have a workaround for the lightweight tile roofs. We look forward to hearing back from you and making sure you get the best deal for Solar.

      I did pretty extensive research and felt like they were were competitive in quality, customer service and price. Kevin my main contact and Gina my design consultant have been very accommodating. Very quick to answer my calls. Helped work with me on making changes I wanted with no problem.
