To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and utter contempt for Public Storage Chickasha. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a daylight robbery, and I feel compelled to warn others to steer clear of these crooks.I initially rented a storage unit from Public Storage in 2019 at a reasonable rate of $175 per month. Over the years, I accepted incremental increases, but nothing prepared me for their latest stunt. In the span of just 12 months, they've jacked up my monthly rate by an obscene 60%, from a horrible $380 price to an outrageous $608! This kind of price gouging is not only unethical but also preys on loyal customers who trust them with their belongings.I urge anyone considering Public Storage to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other storage facilities that offer fair pricing and treat their customers with respect. Do not fall victim to Public Storage's predatory practices. Save yourself the headache and the financial burdenchoose any other storage provider. You'll thank me later.#ripoff #publicstorage #ScamAlert #corporategreed

They are very racist place first, the manager is disrespectful and talks down to people. They make you pay for things that are unnecessary, it's not clean or taken care of. They have maggots, which I found in multiple pieces of items.

Public storage is a rip off and will place negative marks on your credit. I had a unit for a month on the first of May at 7am I emptied out my storage to my home the manager is never on site I left the lock where I recieved it when I got the unit and that was inside the closed unit a few days later they called me saying I owe them 250 dollars for the unit I informed them the unit was empty I cleared it out on the first of the month leaving the lock inside since no one is ever on site.He still wants me to pay sending it to collections a fraudulent charge and collectors are calling my phone I have also negative marks on my credit and contacted ftc.

DO NOT RENT FROM PUBLIC STORAGE Unless youre OK to pay 60-70% more after your first three months!!! Their call center quotes you a price and tells you that these prices will remain until you leave the space when in fact they raise your rates systematically after the first three months, no matter what!!!I am contacting an attorney to bring a class action lawsuit against these idiots for misleading advertising among other causes of action

Avoid Public Storage if you can. My experience has been nothing but frustrating. When I first signed up and paid for a unit, no one was even present at the office during business hours to onboard me. The keypads at the facility are frequently broken, Bluetooth access rarely works, and the front gate has been disabled for weekseveryone is forced to use the exit gate for both entering and leaving.I also received a rude phone call from an employee accusing me of staying past access hours, even though their logging system was clearly malfunctioning. Ive tried calling the office several times during posted business hoursno answer. Ive left voicemails with my number, but nobody ever calls back.On top of that, the pricing is deceptive. My unit was advertised at $49, but after all the hidden fees, I ended up paying over $80. Then, without warning, my rate was raised again to $97.82 just a few months later.Ill be filing formal complaints and reaching out to corporate and the BBB. I sincerely hope Public Storage addresses these issues, but based on what Ive seen, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I got behind in a few payments, but I catch them up when I get paid. I go there to get some of my things out and they have replaced the locks on my units. No one is ever there to give me the combination to the lock that has been placed on the access door to my unit. Nobody ever answers the phone. NOT EVEN 24/7 CUSTOMER SERVICE will answer any calls. There is no real ***** period for late fee charges. If 3/4 days late there goes $30 more. The service is bad...

Purchased unit, next day could not access, no live person could be contacted. The keypad or app not working at 7 am in the morning! Office closed, no number could be found to report issue to a live person. I had a carload that needed to get dropped off so I could get to work on time. After waiting for 2 hours, we had to go drop off items at another storage facility. Manager apologies and I ask that he credit my account for initial fees and close my account, he verbally agreed and said he would follow up. Never heard back from manager so i challenged the charge with my credit card and they agreed with me that Public Storage did not fulfill their end of the contract and reversed charge on my credit card. Fast forward a month later, Public Storage sends a $30 reversal to a collection agency!! No warning or notice that they were sending to collections. No communication as a courtesy to a repeat customer to try and understand that a lack of access to unit with NO ability to report it to a live person at 8am on a business weekday was unacceptable!! I was forced to go elsewhere so I could get to work. ******** business practice and customer service.

Since Public Storage purchased this facility, I had been a happy customer for well over ten years. Within 2 months they raised the rent 35%. No warning. even though a contact was in place. Eight months later they raised it again another 10%. This passed month the raised it again to 87% over the original contract price. Today I was contacted by the property manger that the storage units were broken into Last Week. Approx. 5 Days ago. They did not call the police. But they did change the lock plates, which hade been pried off and provided new locks. They do not have a customer service email or phone number. & the branch manager states they have no authority to make any decisions or changes.

In August of 2024 I rented a unit with Public Storage for $287.00 within five (5) months Public Storage increased my storage amount to $384.00. No one could provide any reason as to why my storage amount increased roughly $100.00 within a small timeframe. I am starting to believe they increased the amount for larger units in hopes to gain access to items that could or would yield a higher value then renting out the unit monthly at a reasonable rate. Then they rinse and repeat. It's almost sickening. Anyone would think this increase is unethical but Public Storage.

Spoke to ******** ****** with this company for an interview for district manager. She called and did not seem interested in even interviewing me for a job. She didnt one time mention anything about what the requirements for the job was what the actual position was or anything actually rushed off the phone so quick as if you can tell she was just wasting our time she had already made her decision then was supposed to call back and let me know what the decision was going to be and still yet have not heard from them very unprofessionally handled and Im a big shocked coming from a company of this size. Its amazing how people can be treated.
