On 11/20/2023 I purchased Zygo Solo Standard (also called Z1) for $299 to give as a gift. There are two components- the headphones and the charging dock. The first time the headphones stopped responding and would not charge in the charged dock was 1/10/2024. I reached out to zygo for help but the headphones resumed charging so I did not pursue it further. Since I gave it as a gift, the recipient has only been able to successfully charge it ten times, with even more failed attempts where it appeared to charge but were dead by the time she went to use them. They were never easy to use when they worked. They have since stopped charging at all. I reached out again on 1/22/2025 with the same complaint. I was told id get a message in 2 business days. 5 days later they asked for pictures of the device. Once I sent that they sent this email Thanks ****. The pins do look good so this may be the headset that is having the issue. As I mentioned, we no longer produce this set, but we would be more than happy to offer you a discount on the new Z2. Many people have had this exact problem with this product. Id like a refund for this defective product.

I purchased a Zygo headset and later decided I didn't want to keep it. I never opened the box it came in, so it is in perfect new condition. I contacted Zygo through their only means of contact, which is via email. The phone number on the BBB site reaches a voice that says to contact them via email only and they don't otherwise pick up. I asked if I could return the product and was told I could, and was sent a pre-addressed return label. I tracked the return, which Zygo received on May 28, 2024. To date, they have not refunded my money. I contacted them again, and they said they tried to refund my money but it "didn't go through" and then asked for my PayPal information to refund me. I have sent this to them three times and contacted them multiple times since then and they have stopped replying to my emails. So now they have the product and my money. All I want is a refund of the purchase price and will be glad to pay a restocking fee.

Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Zygo regarding the unresolved issues with my Zygo unit and the company's reluctance to replace the defective headset.Since April of 2023, when I purchased the Zygo unit, I have encountered multiple challenges with its functionality. Despite my attempts to address the issues, including diminished battery life and connectivity problems since July/August of 2023, the problems persist. The most significant issue is the reluctance of Zygo to address the defective headset. Even when the headset and transmitter connect, there is significant crackling noise, making the device unpleasant to use. Despite numerous attempts to seek assistance and resolve the matter, Zygo has failed to provide a satisfactory solution. The lack of response and assistance from Zygo has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I have invested nearly $330 in the Zygo unit, and the inability to use it properly has caused significant inconvenience and dissatisfaction.I have followed the company's warranty policy and submitted a claim to replace the entire unit. However, Zygo has been unresponsive and unwilling to acknowledge the severity of the issues I am facing.I believe that Zygo has failed to fulfill its obligations to provide a functional product and adequate customer service. The company's actions have not only resulted in financial loss but also in a considerable waste of time and effort on my part.I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that Zygo upholds its responsibilities to its customers. I am seeking a resolution that includes the replacement of the defective Zygo unit or a refund of the purchase price.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your assistance in resolving this dispute.Sincerely,*******************************
