I was lead to believe that this company were marketing experts and could help grow my business by teaching me marketing techniques. This company consists of "marketing coaches." I was not told that I would have a different coach than the person who sold the program. I was also not told what methods would be employed for said marketing of my online business. After beginning the program, I quickly realized that these "marketing coaches" in fact had no professional background in advertising, but were just coaches who had made money in the online space. They only taught ONE method for marketing, which is messaging hundreds of complete strangers on social media. I expressed my concerns with this method of marketing and asked for different methods to be successful in the program. I was told multiple times that I "just needed to stick with the methods they teach" in order to be successful. This method of marketing has actually been shown by REAL people in the advertising industry to be one of the LEAST effective methods for marketing and can actually drive business away. In the contract under section 1, Methodology, it states," In providing the Services, the Company will employ a range of methodologies to suit the Clients personal values and style."There is no "range of methodologies" taught by this program. This is false advertising.I am seeking a partial refund for the cost of the program considering the company is in breach of contract by not providing methodologies that actually work. They heavily rely on a few testimonials, but I doubt their results are typical for clients of the program. This may also be a breach of *** rules and regulations regarding advertising.
