I have been paying this company $39 since October 2015 and it is now February ****. In addition, I paid hundreds of dollars to get started in the program. This program promised to annually apply for forbearance, Income Driven Plans, ect. I was also told by the representative that after 10 years, the loan would be forgiven. The company started off calling themselves Student Loan Counsel and the point of contact was ***********************. The phone number was ************** and **************. The drafts are listed on my statement with this information:Client Processing ************** In November of 2023, I found out that by Jan ****, I would have all of my student loans fully discharged. When I heard of this news, I called them to inform them and I thought that they were going to tell me the next steps and how to go about stopping the automatic monthly drafts, instead I was told that I still had a balance of over $21,000 left and that my servicer sent the balance to another company that I have not heard of. This time, the point of contact was *********************. He informed me that I should be receiving papers in the next 30 to 90 days to tell me about the transfer of my balance. I was confused, but I was definitive in knowing my loans were discharged. I then begin to call my loan servicer, Borrowers Defense, and the ********** of ********** I was advised to contact my loan servicer. After contacting my loan servicer on 2/5/****, I was told that this company does not work with the ********** of ********* in any way. I was also told to call my bank which I did and I have to get a new card. That will stop the drafting, however, this company has all of my personal information and they could retaliate and fraudulently use my information. They have my name, address, birthday, social, department of education log-in and pin#. They need to be tracked down and immediately stopped. I came not expecting to see so many people being taken advantage of by them.Initial Complaint

This company has continued to charge me $39 per month while providing no services. There is no way to dispute the charge or cancel services, short if cancelling my credit card.Initial Complaint

I was contacted by Client Processing Services in 2016 and have been paying $39/month since after 3 $199 payments. I got a notice that my loan was paid in full. But when I log on to Mohela I show a $17k amount due up from $15k. This company has been putting me thru the ringer and feel like it is a scam although there is so much confusion around everything involved with my loan. Looks like other people feel the same. It seems legit but everything I read is that I should not be paying a monthly fee. I was told I would pay the $39/month for around 240 months which is like 20 years and am in year 7. I just shut my cc down so payments will stop and they are emailing me and calling me constantly. Is there any legitimate consultant to talk to to find out what is legit and what is a scam? I hate this and am so confused. I am in the hole with them for $3,873 about. Any responses would be much appreciated. ThanksInitial Complaint

I was paying $39.99 monthly starting in 2016 until October 2022, with the promise of a reduced payment of my Student Loans and eventual forgiveness . I never received an update on the status of my loan I became aware that neither the interest or balance was being reduced, the money I was paying was just a maintenance fee being paid to Client Processing to do nothing towards my benefit. The loans were continually in forbearance and never being reduced. After I stopped paying Client Processing, I received emails threating the status of my Student Loans even though payments were on pause due to COVID. I decided to stop paying Client Services all together and manage my loans myself. I was eligible for PSLF due to my job. I did not need a third party to assist me in this process. Client Services could have informed me of this before I began paying them, but this is how they make their money, why would they be honest with the public. Several times, I have requested a refund of the $2,000 plus that I had paid to Client Services due to the false pretenses/services they lead me to believe they would provide. The correct thing would be for Client Services to provide refunds to the numbers of people the mislead to believe they could assist in this process.Initial Complaint

I was paying $39 a month for student loan forgiveness. Nothing I paid went towards my loans nor did they certify my employment for me to be eligible for forgiveness. I paid in 2017-2019 and have been trying to find out what to do.Initial Complaint

Each month, this company collects $39. I am told that they help me process my student loans for ******. I also submit my tax information for student loan recertification processing. After speaking with ****** today, I am now aware that this fee and service is not a part of them and there is no need to pay this fee. I have been paying this fee since 2015.*********************, ************ is my main contact and now he will not return my calls.Initial Complaint

I have been paying this company since 2015 under in impression that they weee taking care of my student loans. After applying for a home loan I found out this was incorrect and looking on here Im not the only one. I have spent $39/month and had to cancel my debit card so I am no longer charged and hoping that helps clear my account with him.
