***** represented himself as a trouble shooter for all major airlines - I was unable to checking for an air canada/Lufthansa booking. Agent said I was standby and needed within minutes to resolve and pay fare increase. Pressure +++ to act quickly and quoted 300 t0 400 for taxes only to help me out. Threatened that if I didn't proceed, the entire booking would be canceled. Meanwhile my travel agent was able to complete check in on my behalf. When the agent sent the email and request for authorization to pay, the flights he now "confirmed" were exactly what I already had. Ultimately he agreed no charge.My credit card has been blocked now and I am reporting this companyInfinity Travels

We thought we were calling Westjet but actually reached Infinity Travels. We explained we had been on the Westjet website trying to change a flight but were having a problem. The Infinity rep asked for a code needed to access the flight information. We unwittingly provided this. We explained that the Wetjet website was showing that we had to pay additional fees despite stating that there would not be additional fees, only the difference in price between the two flights. There was no difference. The Infinity rep told us that the price of the flight had gone up and that we had to pay the higher price to change the flight. He said the price on the website was the old price. He even told us that as we were speaking the price had gone up again. He said we needed to book the flight and pay the difference right away in order to avoid possible further increases. We questioned this. He told us that this was standard practice. He told us that if we did this ourselves, the price increase would show up when we tried to pay for the change. We said we would not proceed with this. He said he would speak with a manager. He then said the price was $425 instead of $480. We said no to this and ended the conversation. He called us back in a few minutes to offer another price... $395. We were somewhat confused by all of this. Believing him, we paid the $395... though we still questioned the policy and he continued to insist this was the only way to change the flight. After completing the transaction he called us back to say that he had made a mistake and that the cost was $395 per person... each of us. At this point we told him to cancel the whole transaction. We would not be going ahead with any of it. He said we had to pay a $200 service fee for cancelling. We refused and challenged him since we felt he had clearly lied and misled us. In the end, after considerable heated discussion we ended the conversation. We canceled our credit card to make sure no charges could be made.Infinity Travels
