1 starI just received a cowhide rug opened the box the and toxic fumes overwhelmed my home. We rolled it out to find big patches of a gray colored substance in various areas. I would love to show you pictures of this rug that i took. They painted the rug in areas with a hard paint or glue I kid you not I thought I was being plunked. Trying to contact for a week at so and no response. Whatever the used for what ever reason on their sad rug must not be good to breath. I wouldnt give any stars and will never order from them again!!Review fromTerry Y

1 starI purchased a basically white cowhide for our new home. When it arrived and was unboxed there wasn't as much shading as I had anticipated but figured it was just the way it photographed. I noticed a funny area in one corner and when flipped over saw it had been sewn there with white thread where evidently it was torn. One other area nearby also was stitched with thread. Both places were then patched together with extra pieces of hide to give them strength. When I emailed the company they told me I could not get my money back for naturally occurring defects. I had to explain that unless the cow had learned how to use a needle and thread and knew how to patch using hide pieces I was pretty sure someone in their company had patched it back together following an accident. I had not been informed that the rug had a problem before I bought it. I then had to show pictures of the problem and was told send it back. Not, I'm sorry or you're right that's a bad looking repair we shouldn't have sold it to you, our bad. Nothing at all. I would never purchase from them again knowing they have second quality goods they try to pass off as first quality.Review fromMark T

1 starIf I could give zero stars, I would. I got my package today opened it up and my cowhide rugs are baby blue. These are not the rugs I ordered. I definitely did not order baby blue cowhide rugs. Not sure how they have gotten so many good reviews. I have gotten better sheepskins from ******* The one I purchased from icowhide was 4 short on the width and 2 on the length. They told me that I needed to include the length of the hair. Maybe that might have worked for the length but there was no way I was going to get another 4 on the width. Plus the fact that that is absurd! My one from ****** was to size. The one I purchased from icowhide also failed US department of commerce standards. Bad customer service, didnt even try to make things right, not to me the fact that it also took a long time to get. Would not recommend.iCowhide
