      I contracted for a website in October 2024 but was not ever to proceed with the development.I have been trying to reach the company for months and am unable to get a response.They do keep sending me marketing emails.I just want them to complete what I paid them to *******, please.

      Major start up issues (mainly communication) with new website resulted in escalation manger getting involved. She offered the next years website support package at no charge as well as a logo support. Logo support was great- kudos to ****** H!!!! Received communication from billing that our package was set to renew in July. Emailed ***** to make sure this was a mistake and received reply from her email stating she was no longer with the company. Emailed multiple people multiple times and received no response from anyone. Set up a meeting with ****** on 6/19 at 11 am EST through Zoeks system to discuss the issue. Tried to join ****** meet through both link and phone from meeting confirmation email- waited 15 min and no one from the Zoek team joined.From email on 4/18/25 Hey ****,Thanks so much for speaking with me today. As discussed, I am willing to be your point of contact moving forward in order to complete your website. Any outstanding edits sent to me will include a confirmation of receipt, and a confirmation of completion. I will also speak with our billing department about adjusting the financial aspects of things to ensure you are not automatically billed when the 12 month time period concludes, due to delays you experienced as a result of our team's lack of follow through. I will also have our graphic design team reach out to you so they can offer services at no additional cost. If there is anything else that you need at this time please let me know and I will do my absolute best to get you the support you need.       In reviewing the account, it has been determined that all billing inquiries have been handled. Zoek has been attempting to reach the client to answer any questions they may have since June 19 but has not been able to make contact with the client.

      I hired this company to build a fully custom luxury e-commerce website for my brand, including ongoing managed service once the site was live. I paid over $4,000 based on their promises of delivering a high-end, professional website and support.Due to product delays (out of my control), I asked the designer to pause the project which they agreed to. The website finally went live about 2 months ago, once my product was ready to sell on *******However, the website they delivered looks like a cheap GoDaddy-style template, not a custom luxury site. It is missing many promised features, looks unprofessional, and is not optimized for e-commerce. It is embarrassing to use for my ******** make it worse, even though the site had just gone live, the company charged me AGAIN for another year of managed service ($1,700), when the last year of service had barely started (site had not even been live, and there was nothing to manage). When I questioned this, instead of resolving the issue, they canceled my account entirely leaving me with no service and a broken, unfinished *********** I am out thousands of dollars, stuck with an unusable website that looks unprofessional, and no support at all. This company over-promises and under-delivers, then charges for services they dont actually provide. When you question them, they retaliate by canceling your account.I feel scammed. I regret hiring this company. I am now forced to hire a new team to build a proper website from scratch more wasted time and money.Resolution Requested:Full refund for the poor website.I also want this complaint on record so others are warned about this companys deceptive practices.

      I am filing a formal complaint against Zoek Marketing for dishonest and unethical business practices related to a website. I entered into a contract with Zoek Marketing for website design services. After completing the initial consultation, I quickly realized their services were not a good fit and followed the procedure outlined in their own agreement to cancel. The contract clearly states that cancellation is allowed after the initial consultation and before any design work is delivered.I never received any website designs, edits, drafts, plans, or related services beyond the initial consultation. Despite this, Zoek refused to honor the cancellation and has continued to charge me. I have made several documented attempts to cancel, all of which have been ignored or delayed by their team.Zoek Marketing is unresponsive, rarely answers phone calls, and only replies when convenient for themoften days or weeks later. This conduct reflects a lack of integrity and a pattern of money-first, contract-driven operations that neglect customer service, accountability, or fair business practices.I am requesting the following:Immediate cancellation of my agreement with Zoek Marketing.A full refund of all charges, minus any allowable consultation fee as outlined in the contract.A formal investigation into Zoek Marketings deceptive and unprofessional conduct.

      We appreciate the opportunity to address the claims made in this complaint. 

      The client purchased a classic website design from Zoek, which includes a Classic Website to be designed based on a template from Zoek's template gallery, an initial consultation where a call is held before the website design work begins, one follow-up consultation, 3 rounds of edits, features added from the Wix App Market, and access to Wix Traffic Analytics. The client attended their initial consultation and website work commenced and was delivered to the client, at which point a refund for services is not eligible, as stated in the signed agreement (please see attached).  

      The client expressed dissatisfaction with the website design and Zoek, as a courtesy, offered to design a new website for the client, in order to better align desired expectations. The 2nd website was completed and shown to the client at which point edit requests were made by the client and completed by Zoek. 

      In reviewing the account details, it has been confirmed that Zoek has provided the client with the purchased and agreed upon services,  therefor, a refund is not warranted and cannot be provided. That being said, Zoek has agreed to allow the client out of their agreement, at no penalty, as is generally required via the signed agreement.

      We paid Zoek in full for our website last year, fast forward almost a year later and website and business cards are still not completed. We have tried numerous attempts to communicate our issues with completing our website. I am still waiting on changes that need to be made, miss spelled words and sections that need to be corrected. Our website is also live. With all these issues at hand.

      In June 2024 I spoke with **** E an AE at Zoek about designing a new premium website for my Floral Shop I was opening. I needed the website first since I will be all online. He said they could do it in 2weeks. He also sold me a 149. a month maintenance package for Zoek to keep my page current and 4 hrs of custom work if I wanted it. (They started charging my card for this after 2 weeks, even though my website wasnt done they said I would still get a year after it launched. I completely the questionnaire, then I was sent a contract after the fact so weird but I signed and sent back got my graphic work done for my logo and then found out they had no templates for Florist. I was assigned to **** as my Account *** and she could have cared less about me. We had a few calls she started to put together a website, but it was awful.We are now in Nov, well past 2 weeks and I cant seem to book a call with her and she isnt returning my emails finally by the end of Dec I get her boss **** on the phone to be told she no longer works there!! So, I get assigned to him hoping to launch a website by Valentines Day to recoup some of the money Ive lost. Nope!He couldnt make it happen an pons me off on a new Account *** ******. Well she decides to scrap everything and build a new site and everything is in slow motion. I can only talk to her by booking a call like a ** appointment 10 days out to talk 15 minutes about what I want in the website. She would only return emails 1-2 times a week it was like being in a dark room looking at your website trying to do sign language. In April I finally said enough. I had to surrender and eat the list of $6k. The stress, my reputation, my physical health couldnt take it anymore. These people strung me along for 11 months, they are a fraud. I wrote to the CEO *** ****** he ghosted me. I asked for a refund for breach of contract and was told no. I had to sign off on my website to get ownership of it, even though it was never finished.

      In reviewing the account, ********************** has provided the client with the services purchased and agreed to. The client was in consistent communication with Zoek until August 27 when Zoek reached out to confirm a request from the client and never receievd a response. Zoek then reached out again in January in order to continue with the project for the client and the client responded and a meeting was set up for the client and a Project Manager from Zoek to review the site. On January 13, the client was sent an email again asking if there were any further questions but Zoek did not receive a response. 

      A new Project Manager was assigned to the client and in meeting, the client wanted to make several changes which lead the Project Manager to make an exception and start a new site at no additional cost to the client. This as well as 2 rounds of edits were completed at the client's request. The client has now approved the site and has ownership of the website. 

      Zoek has provided the client with all promised work and continued to offer additional edits in order to get the site completed to the client's satisfaction. A refund is not warranted and the client is encouraged to continue requesting edits through Zoek.

      As a small business owner, I hired them to reduce the time and energy I spend on marketing, web design, and SEO. Instead, the experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unproductive.Before I ever signed a contract, I was charged twice. I was promised a completed website within one week. That week passed with no contact. When I followed up, I was told it would be done the following weekagain, no site and no communication.I called twice and was told a ticket was submitted for a supervisor to call me. No one ever followed up. I eventually called again to cancel and request a refund, given that no services had been delivered. Another ticket was submitted. This time, I received an email asking me to review a websiteconveniently the first time I was told anything had been done.After calling again, to request a refund, I was again given another promise for a manager to call "within 20 minuntes", no such call was ever received. Meanwhile, the original *** emailed back to say that now that I have a website, Im no longer eligible for a refund."For clarity: I was never notified of a completed site until *after* I requested cancellation. I was never shown progress, given access, or asked for feedback. Their delivery appears to be a reaction to my refund requestnot fulfillment of a ********** date, Ive received no usable product, no resolution, and no professional support. Instead of saving me time, this company has cost me more of it.

      Attempted to hire them to build my website and became suspicious when what they were telling me was not making sense. They only seemed concerned about charging more and more money but not giving service at that point. I never got the same story twice and never got them to even look at my website.

Once returned, Zoek's website design team will get to work on the design of the site and, once completed, the client will be contacted to schedule their launch call to review their website with a launch coordinator.

      This questionnaire and reminders were sent to the client 5 times between March 25 when they signed up, and April 4. Please complete the questionnaire as soon as possible so that Zoek can begin your website design.

      On Feb 18 2025 I spoke with ***** from Zoek, he explained the services and we agreed on services, a delivery window, and a price. I paid over the phone in full and waited the week for my website to be completed (the longest it should have taken according to our agreement). Feb 25th and 28th go by (7 days from payment and 7 business days from payment) and I still hear nothing. After reaching out a number of times and being told that the designer is still working on my website, March 14th I get an email that it is complete. Almost a month after I paid, they didn't even apologize or seem to care. My wife and I were expecting our first kids and I needed this all to be done in time before I would lose all my time to work on this. I never expected it to take this long. Even after the website was done, they wanted me to wait another week before being able to talk to someone and show me the website and get my first round of edits. I explained that I can not wait that long as my kids were set to be born before that. They were able to accommodate, which I appreciated but to be honest it was the least they could do after dragging this out so long. I had my call, gave my notes, and was told it might be completed that day and if not then a couple of days. This was on Mar 4th and the edits are still not done, I do not have access to my website, and no one from the company will return my emails. Not *****, Not ********* and not the support email. Nothing, over 2 weeks and now one will follow up with me. They took my money and screwed me. Horrible experience.

      I went under contract with the Zoek Marketing in October 2024 for the Advanced Website with Branding Kit. The company was hired to design my website within 8 weeks depending on the number of products to ********* site. I did not have any products during the contract. **** ******* was assigned. **** was slow to respond and did not finish the project. After many failed attempts at handling the design of the site correctly and timely I had to complete the project on my own. **** ******* created himself as the owner of my website in which he is not. I have paid for the website and domain. I have tried calling and emailing him several times. I also pay for the Advance manage bundle monthly at ******. I have been paying since october with little to no respect and adequate adjusts for the design and needs for my company's website. I have asked **** to cancel this plan. He has not done so. After emailing him about my website in which he has placed himself as owner, He has agreed to turn over ownership to me on two occasions but has not. He has sent over the completion information and response to email asking for my email address in which the website is supposed to be transferred to and and still refuses. This has limited my access to my account in which I own. He only sent the website to me for me to only be a collaborator on my own website that I own. The company did not provide any of the other details to the contract as promised. I was forced to complete a survey stating that he did the edits to the website in order to gain even minor access.       Zoek has completed all promised work and the client has approved the website. The client purchased a Managed Site Bundle and opted to have Zoek handle the hosting of the site so the website was not initially transferred and instead, the client was given co-owner access to be able to make any changes to the website. 

      At this time, at the client's request, the website has been transferred to the client for them to own the website, hosting, and domain. The client has 3 days to accept the transfer. If the client finds that they need the transfer invitation sent again, an email can be sent to ******************************* requesting the transfer be initiated again. 

      A representative from Zoek will contact the client to discuss the Managed Site Bundle in order to find resolution.

      The company absolutely did not perform all required work that was promised of the job that is listed in the contract.  I have received ownership of the web site as of today.  I was forced to say that I accepted the site and that the work was completed but I am the one who completed the edits to the site not the the company.  I felt compelled to say that I accepted the site because they would not transfer ownership.  Ownership was only transferred after I contacted the BBB.  I would like acknowledgement of failed job completion. I will not agree that they completed the site.  Zoek is still listed as a co-owner of the site and I would like ALL involvement of the company off of the site as I will no longer be needing them for any revisions moving forward.

      Zoek has completed the website and transferred ownership of it to the client. In reviewing the account, at no time did Zoek refuse to provide additional work to complete the website to the client's satisfaction. The client approved the site and was granted access to be able to make any necessary changes, as is protocol upon site completion as Zoek wants all clients to be able to control their website, and made the decision to make changes on their own. Requests for edits would have been completed by Zoek had they been made. 

      The final payment is required to be made in accordance with the agreement. The website transfer should not have been initiated prior to the final payment being made, in accordance with company protocol, however an exception was made to resolve the client's frustrations in receiving this complaint and the website was transferred prematurely with the understanding that the client would complete their commitment to Zoek. 

      The client will be contacted in order to resolve the Managed Site Bundle service that was purchased.
