    I just purchased a microscope for my brother for Christmas. I did a search for microscopes made in *** only. The AmScope website came up and never mentioned this was made in *****. My brother like Made in *** things. So do I. My complaint is simply that their website has no prominent wording explaining the microscope was made in ***** if it is on the website at all; I never found it. The also call themselves United Scope. In their response, the were never less than professional. Can you get them to prominently display Made in *****? There is no way I am the only one to be disappointed by receiving a Chinese microscope when they were proud to be buying American. I'm sure they are a great company. Leaving off Made in ***** at least has the appearance of a conscious decision.

    Dear sir,The issue in brief that on Sat. 4th of Feb. I've ordered a microscope at my hotel address that I was staying at, I was checking out at Tuesday 7th of Feb. so, I ordered the item with "Next Day Delivery" option which worth $60 (about %20 of the item value) although there was a "free delivery" option available.The product didn't move till Monday 6 of Feb. afternoon, and before it moves, I had sent an email and called over the phone to stop shipping process and cancel the order as I realized that it will not arrive in time, all my attempts to reach them has failed, and they just ignored my email and shipped the product anyway.After returning the order they refused to refund the shipping fees although it's not my mistake they don't tend to their email and phone.Please find the details with timeline below::Sat. 04 Feb. : Order#****** was placed with "Next day delivery" option checked as I wanted to receive the item by Monday 6th at *** (free delivery option was available and was ignored because of that).Sun. 5th Feb. : Nothing happened and the item didn't move.Mon. 6th Feb. "Early morning" : I tried to call their office multiple times but I got the voice mail, I left a message asking to cancel the order if the item will not arrive by Monday " as it was not shipped yet", I have also sent an email with the same.Mon.6th Feb. "afternoon" : I tried calling the office again and I was also forwarded to the voice mail, afterwards I was surprised that the item was shipped regardless of my voice messages and email.Tues. 7th Feb.: I had to check out from the hotel to catch my flight, the item arrived after my departure and a I couldn't receive it as expected.Tues. 28th Feb.: Shipment return completed.Thu. 2nd Mar.: Refund was issued for the product only.I have opened new ticket to request refund of the shipping fees as it was not my mistake to ship cancelled order, the case was closed today without being resolved.conversations copies attached.

    I purchased a microscope from AMScope / United Scope in December for a holiday gift. After getting the product we set it up and tested it with slides from another older scope and can not get the new scope to focus. After watching videos, reading manual etc -- nothing would work -- and we have used microscopes in the past. Our cheap $20 scope from my kids had no issues focus on the slide but this one would not work.Starting around Jan 5th I made multiple attempts via phone to reach support and always would end up having to leave a voice mail -- which I did and never received a return call. I also submitted an online support request and after about 1.5 weeks received a reply but after replying back I have not heard anything back. I left several voicemails again with no reply and have even sent an email to ***************** (The owner) with no reply.Right now I am stuck with a scope that does not work and out of my money. I would first like to speak with someone from support to make sure everything is indeed set properly on the scope first and secondly, if it is deemed to be defective I would like this scope replaced with one that works properly as it should.I did not want to file here -- but I have no other options and hope for some type of reply.
