    If it was possible for negative numbers, they would receive -10!!! This is the worst service we as a school district have received. We tried to order microscopes with them & started the process in September 2023. As of 11/2023 they still have not processed our request. In fact, they actually closed out our request stating they do not allow purchase orders. When their website specifically states they do accept PO's and where to send them.Whenever I would ask to speak to a manager to discuss this discrepancy, they would always say they were out or away from their desk. I was never allowed to be transferred to anyone besides inside sales who were the representatives that closed out our order in the first place. It was apparent they did not need our order and didn't care if we took business elsewhere. Main people I personally dealt with were ***************** (inside sales), ******************************* (unknown job ********* ***************************** (whom I was told was a manager that I never was able to speak to).

    Great microscope. Adequate camera (with software image capture) worked perfectly until the latest release of the Mac OS. Three weeks of working with support - they acknowledge the bug - and one failed release (that didn't fix their bug), I am still waiting and SERIOUSLY impacted.I use the microscope for veterinary analysis and have relied on the image capture to consult with boarded experts to help diagnose animal disease... Their software is outsourced to ***** and (apparently) have they no local experts to diagnose and fix bugs. Had I known the impact that their lack of resources and the quality of this software, I would not have bought this product.Be careful.

    Absolutely horrible customer service. I have been calling for days and no one answers the phone, returns voicemails, or emails me back.

    As with previous reviewers, my experience with AmScope (United Scope LLC) has been frustrating and disappointing. I purchased a microscope (~$1,400) that arrived missing a contents list, assembly instructions, and a software CD. I tried calling several times - no answer. I emailed several times - no response. With a microscope in pieces, waiting for assembly instructions, no response from customer service, and the 30 day return deadline quickly approaching, I made the decision to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (***). Finally, two days after the return deadline had passed, I received an email response from an actual human who didn't mention anything about the *** and instead provided me with a manual (not for my specific microscope) and a link to software download (not ******************). I tried to assemble the microscope using the information they provided but continued to encounter issues with the focus. I contacted them again regarding the *** as I was totally fed up with the lack of support on such an expensive item. Its been 14 days since my original *** request and I have not received a response. They are completely dodging my request to return this product, and now the return deadline has passed. I saved the original packaging (as per their return requirements) and I am ready to put this thing in the mail and move on, but I cannot do that without an ***. They have my money and I have a microscope that doesn't work, they won't provide an ***, and ignore all requests for support. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AMSCOPE.

    I have never been so dissatisfied and disappointed with a purchase as I am with this telescope. I had a telescope 25 years ago that worked better than this, and was easier to operate. The telescope needs a mirror alignment before it can be used, this is not in the description and neither is the fact that there is no instructions on the box. This page also states, easy returns, satisfaction guaranteed, free shipping with orders over $75 and quality products. You ask for an exchange or a return and they offer a return, then send you a shipping label that you then find out that YOU pay for shipping and insurance to return it which is approximately $200 then you find out that you will have to pay a restocking fee of 20%. The scope was $250 to purchase and $250 to return so you get zero money back in the end and you have no telescope. Does any of this sound like satisfaction guarantee or easy returns, or free shipping for orders over $75 for quality products? The device to align that mirrors is not sold or shipped with the item so that is an additional cost FYI. Amscope is the worst purchase that Ive made in my entire life. AMSCOPE has one telescope on Amazon with a one star review.
