    Their reports are inaccurate with skewed data. I have legitimate reasons for my returns and should not be discriminated against.

    Received info from ********** after I had a denied return to contact TRE. Contact and received my report and noticed I was double flagged on a single transaction cause the total return between the two to be over $2500, when really it was half that. Disputed it and TRE said ********** was not budging. I asked for additional contact to dispute it and was denied. Im sorry but youre claiming I returned $2500 of items, wheres my other $1250? Sounds like borderline fraud

    I ordered an online product from **************. received the email that the order was delivered contacted the ********** and told them I did not receive it they concurred with the picture from ***** it does not match my address however they could not give me a refund because of this company The Retail Equation's (TRE). I was baffled and upset so I contacted the company at the number provided and it's been constantly busy you cannot get through and I'm not able to put the phone number here because the BBB doesn't allow it. I come here to the BBB and can't file a formal complaint because the company is not affiliated with them so I have to vent through this method. I received the report from TRE and it shows I had two legitimate returns at the store with the receipt and now this current issue with the order I did not receive and which I cannot get a refund. I emailed TRE for resolution and explanation to their logic on that report which makes no sense to me again I'm going to repeat I made two legitimate returns to the ********** with a receipt in the past year now I have this third order I ordered online and did not receive and cannot get a refund the whole thing is a scam I'm really ****** off and especially at BBB for not assisting.

    I made online purchase with **** DEPOT T** for a deck box. I attempted to return online but was denied return even though i was within return window. I was 'denied based on info from TRE', the ** online *** supplied me ref# to request ***ort, I filed immediately and received next day. Report shows all returns from last 2 years which was 3 Online Orders ALL WITH RECEIPTS! They were unopened $28 door k**** (2) and a $139 faucet. How dare they deny me over such nonsense, they were unopened, inspected and approved by return desk WITH RECEIPT! I was flabbergasted when denied so I attempted several times to initiate an online return to see if I'd receive same results as online *** and I did, and by doing so TRE logged these denials as new transactions on my ***ort which all have different ref #, so now my ***ort shows 3 prior approved returns with receipts, and 7 denials with receipts for this one transaction even though its same order! I demand TRE update my ***ort, no one is scamming anyone here except for **** DEPOT AND TRE by not allowing me to make a return when I am within my rights. I'd understand if I didnt have receipts for those 3 prior returns in 2 years but I DID HAVE RECEIPTS AND ITEMS WERE FULLY INSPECTED AND APPROVED BY RETURN DESK! I was wrongfully red flagged!! I DEMAND YOU FIX THIS **** DEPOT AND TRE!!

    Never had a problem prior to today with returning anything. Went to ********** who apparently uses this lousy company. Was denied return on a stupid $33 saw blade. No explanation given. Clerk said contact this company. They don't post a phone number. Apparently they arbitrarily deny returns without ANY explanation. I was a FRAUD INVESTIGATOR for over 30 years. I know there are scammers out there but this is just ridiculous. No way to know if I can EVER return anything again at **********. This will DEFINITELY mean I will shop at ***** in the future. HD doesn't care. They are just looking at the bottom line. Not what is right or convenient for consumers. This company is being sued by a CA law firm for this type of activity. BBB should give them a ZERO RATING. ****************.

    I went to return something at Dicks sporting and they said my return was denied and that if I had questions, to contact The Retail Equation. After I called the retail equation and told them that Dicks never informed me that I wouldn't be able to return my purchases that I made when I was **** g them. The representative said that I can dispute it and she would send me an email. This is unacceptable as I have been a customer for a long time and was never made aware of their new return policy.

    I purchase items at Under Armour, frequently (or rather did) and usually purchase many items for my family to try on etc, as we live an hour away, and return (WITH RECEIPT) ill fitting items, etc, still new, never worn, usually within a week. In February, I received a small slip with my return, as a warning and requested the file, etc and spoke on the phone with a TRE employee who said it would be a 180 day ban from returning. I said I wanted to dispute it and they advised me how, which I did and have NEVER heard back, so here we are at 6 months later and I am leery to purchase at Under Armour and not be able to return items within Under Armour's own return policy. Since we live so far away, I usually purchase several hundreds per month for family, gifts, etc, and do not return that much. Under ****** has lost money from this, which I have instructed them on social media and calling customer service.This company has no right denying these returns or transactions, without providing further support and when I looked at my return history on my report, not a single transaction was outside their return window, not one without receipt, nothing suspicious at all but I was flagged and now they have lost a customer.The fact that they can control ************************* and refuse to get back to them and assist them with questions and justifications, I can't believe that ANY retailer would utilize The Retail Equation.Definitely will impact where I shop from now on

    One of **************** Fraud all the parties or companies involved or do business with them should be ***d for violating customers privacy.They steal and collect your data without your knowledge and consent because the seller you made purchase from has authorized them to do so. In *** sellers like *********** Amazon etc uses them for return tracking purposes.Someone needs to *** and file a class action lawsuit against this company and teach them ****** that customers privacy and consent is way bigger than anything that they are trying to make money of your experience.

    Purchased savoy light through ********** (HD) online. Have pro account with them so, all receipts are available. On delivery the product had noticeable forward facing defect, hot pink coloring on the jute fabric around light. I called HD and informed customer rep of issue and requested replacement, would also send back the defective light. HD rep said she had to check with savoy. Waited while she checked and was then informed ***** send they wouldn't send replacement. I had to return item then repurchase. HD rep, started return but it was flagged. She contacted supervisor and was told she couldn't do return bc of The Retail Equation restricting return. I informed HD supervisor that I never wanted to return but just have defective item replaced. Also shared that when ordering the product there was no flag or notice on my HD account that I could not be able to return the items. Product was not marked non returnable and account did not state *********************** were frozen. He said HD can't do anything until after retail equation completes there evaluation which could take approx 90 days, which would make return impossible bc of 90 day return policy How is Retail Equation, restricting return when you have receipt and issue. How is HD not recognizing not all returns are fraud. I was also told by HD supervisor not to dispute with bank card bc that would make matters worse with The Retail Equation and my rating.

    Absolutely the worst. I am an honest customer who has worked ********************** most of my life. I tried to return a defective item to ********** for store credit and was denied! This steals your personal information and makes it public to all kinds of people and businesses. I have requested my report and I have gotten NOTHING. I followed the instructions of the denial paper and got no specific reason for denial of my return. This company is a sham! I hope you arent a DIY home repair person. Youll have to make sure you buy everything perfectly right the first time.
