Powerstone manages my city association (*********** **************************** We've only had horrific experiences with AVCA and their continued use of toxic pesticides and herbicides on our residential slopes, city parks, neighborhoods and streets. We have a large park behind our home that was poorly managed by landscapers this year. They ripped out the thick bushes and left the slopes bare for months, and after all the rain we received this year, the landscapers came and sprayed for days, weeks, and months on end from at least March-July in this very park and on our backyard slopes. This chronic exposure to the toxic chemicals they use have caused me and my husband to become disabled and we have medical records as proof. We also have young children and a dog with adverse medical effects as a result of this constant and prolonged exposure to the huge amounts of chemicals they keep spraying. The chemicals they use are known to cause severe health hazards through inhalation such as cancer, respiratory damage, brain damage, immune system damage, infertility, harm to unborn babies, and more. These hazards are even listed on the product's *************** data sheets. Numerous studies have demonstrated that the use of these chemicals are toxic, harmful and even lethal to humans and wildlife.Several residents and I have complained to AVCA about this, urging them to stop the use of these toxic chemicals and to transition to safer landscaping and pesticide management methods. For years, neighboring cities like Irvine, SJC, *** and *************** have done it successfully. Not only is this causing harm to humans, especially women and children, but it's also harming our **************** **** keeps telling us that these chemicals are "completely safe" and dismissing us. They must forget that we pay dues.Powerstone states they provide HOAs "with the right people and systems so your community can *************, our community is not thriving. We are slowly dying. FIX THIS.

Powerstone Property Management manages my HOA (Talega Village). Unfortunately, this company doesn't even attempt the basics of customer service, like a simple return phone call to in order to keep homeowners in the the loop about issues or determinations of responsibility. I first contacted Powerstone in October '22 regarding a fire sprinkler pipe leak that was supposed to be covered by the **** Powerstone sent someone to repair the leak (after many calls) but left a gaping hole in the ceiling. I was told the hole would be repaired but this never happened and there was no communication by Powerstone on the disposition of the issue (i.e., responsibility, repairs, determinations). Rather, my husband and I had to call weekly, leave messages, and be subjected to being ignored entirely for months (even after supposed "escalation" to managers was taking place). Several weeks ago, my husband left work early and was forced to drive to Powerstone's physical location just to get someone to acknowledge him. In that moment, a "manager" paid attention to the issue but then immediately went back to ignoring our emails. In short, I could care less about the actual determination of the responsibility, but what I do care about is the massive amount of wasted time and energy caused by this "business" through failure to execute the basics of running a customer-facing institution. No person should have to put up with this amount of frustration just to be informed or get answers about an HOA issue. Powerstone is by far the worst company I've ever experienced.

Complete bullies at this company. They constantly lie about timelines for work and do not care that the water was off for 2 weeks waiting for a repipe job that was supposed to be done right away. They say one thing and then email another and actually hung up on me when I tried to get answers over the phone. Do not recommend

They change mangers every 6 months to ensure that there is no continuity and therefore no accountability to their end use customers. They stonewall residents of the *** they are hired to serve. In our case we have documented proof of continued assurances to replace a badly termite damaged doorframe that started prior to purchase and is now 4 managers and 2.5 yrs later with no resolution.
