      The process was a struggle at times. At one point, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the 'one more thing'. Now that I am 50% funded, I look back on the process and realize that government anything requires patience and commitment. Because when it is all finished, it's a nice payday. My wife and I decided to pull money out of our paid in full home to use for travel. Also, our situation is not the norm. We have no kids and do not intend to pass our estate to nieces and nephews. What we do not spend in ***** or Maui, will go to charity. It worked well for us. I feel AAG was a very good choice for a reverse mortgage. Also, don't walk into this process thinking you are going to receive a check or wire for the value of your house. It does not work that way. You cannot ask to many questions about this process. I do recommend AAG for reverse mortgage. I am certain when you finalize and realize your financial position is sound and liquid, you too will say, 'yes, this was worth it'.
