    Alleviate Tax scammed me. They sold me on using their services to eliminate my tax debt. They signed me up with a loan for their services and never delivered. They strung it out for 9 months before they told me I would have to pay the *** and also still make payments to Alleviate Tax. I want to cancel and I was told you can only suspend services but the payment to Alleviate Tax will not stop. The ************ is ***********************************

    In April of 2025, I contact Alleviate Tax to help my wife and I with four years of unpaid taxes. We were told that they were going to be able to help and that we will pay $495 upfront for them to investigate. We went through with paying the money and when it came time for the investigation review (May 19), the taxes owed was over inflated by a huge amount. I told the service *** about my concern and told him that I did taxes for one of the years and it came out to be over $40,000 less than what they are saying. We did another year and came out to being $30,000 less than what they are saying even before we started to add in any deductions or credits. They proceeded to tell us that we would need to pay over $18,000 for us to use their services!! Thats insane!! I told the guy that we will tho k about it and he became very pushy. I called back the next day (May 20) to try to resolve this, but no one seemed to be able to help us. Even after I asked not to talk with the original *** due to his pushy demeanor, they still pushed my call to him. At this point this was a waste of time and a waste of money and we want our money back. We will do our own taxes and request a payment plan versus paying these people all of this money for taxes that are not real.

    I am writing to formally file a complaint against Alleviate Tax **************** located in ******, **********. I am seeking your assistance in addressing what I believe to be unethical and misleading business practices by this company. On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Alleviate Tax *************** for help with three years of unfiled back taxes. When I contacted Alleviate, I spoke with a representative named ***** Beloris, on 3/31 who claimed they were tax attorneys specializing in negotiating with the *** for debt forgiveness. He told me the company had a proven track record of eliminating 70% to 80% of tax debt through *** programs. he told me I qualified and requested an upfront fee of $500 to start the process. ************* would cost $13,000, which would require financing through a third-party loan provider. ****** *****, I did not qualify for any *** debt forgiveness programs based on my income. I was placed on a payment plan requiring $666 per month to the *** plus $380 per month to Alleviate Tax ************** over $1,000 per month. This outcome was completely contrary to what I was led to expect. I was misled about the companys ability to reduce or eliminate my tax debt, and I was not made aware that I could ultimately be found ineligible for relief. I feel I was pressured into signing a loan agreement based on false or incomplete information. I am requesting the following:Immediate removal from the Alleviate Tax *************** program.Cancellation of the loan obtained under misrepresentation.A full refund based on deceptive practices.An investigation into the companys misleading business conduct.This situation has caused me significant emotional and financial distress. I trusted this company during one of the most vulnerable times in my life, and I now feel taken advantage of.On 5/16 spoke with ****** ****** stated conducting an investigated on the matter. No decisions could be made at this time.

    There is no clear information while youre listening to them talk in circles. They would send the same text over and over again to the point I stated I was referring them to the Attorney General. I have received two bills from the *** not one and they dont answer texts anymore. Keep our tax relief in the United States guys stay far away from Alleviate

    The merchant Allevaite Tax contacted me today to say that since I had attempted to get my money through the credit card company I am not eligible for a refund. I told him the company left me no choice because the are refusing to refund me the $2,495,00 that I paid the company and the had not and done any work and neitherdo I wish for them to do any work for me. He just kept repeating that I am not eligible for a refund and he saw that I been in contact with the ***. Somehow the call got lost and he did not call back. This is just another way of them being shifty and not wanting to refund my $2,495.00

    I contacted Alleviate Tax on February 10, 2025, for assistance with (***) issue. I am a disabled veteran, and the *** is demanding over $7,000.00 for 2018. I told (**** ******* of Alleviate Tax) my income is the VA nontaxable pay, and he agereed his company could help. I paid $495 and sign a document.The following day Monday ********* told me her approach to the *** I repeated my request, she agreed they would contact *** on my behalf. She told me to pay $2,000.00, with my credit card. She said it would take three months. She sent number of documents to sign electronically as we spoke. Tuesday ********* contacted me and asked to list of my assets I repeated my request. Garbielle they had not contact the *** it would be resolved in 3-6 months. I called ********* again and my need for them the contact the *** she stated that they wait for the *** to contact me. I told her they are no understanding so stop what you are doing and refund me.She was furious and said the company is offering me protection from the ***, and will also file my 2024 tax return. I tole her to refund me since they did not understand the stress and anxiety and they cannot help.I called twice and repeated to ********* again that I needed a refund because they were not meeting my need. The company kept putting me off not allowing for cancellation or refund.I told ********* that this amounted to a bait and switch because they me the would intervene with *** by letting them know my income is non-taxable but they are telling that I will have to pay the *** but they will try for me to pay less than the $7,000 the *** is demanding. I told ******* that would be costly. I needed a refund because that is better since cumulatively the total would be close to the same so I would like to cancel and get my money back.On February 18, 2025, I again told Gabrielles both verbally and in text message of you intention to cancel receive a refund which she acknowledged.

    It's been about a year and a half, I was told the services would help pay off my irs debt.I spent $495 *** then was told my total bill to the irs was $3900. I approved the loan because I was told that $3900 was going to the irs..After getting a letter from the *** stating I still owed them the $3900, I reached out to alleviate tax and they couldn't provide me with the payment plan to the irs, then I was told it was just for there services in which they didn't do anything with my account..I did my back taxes and spoke with the irs and they said that they haven't received any payments..Why would I sign for services that I don't get and which was the same amount I owed the irs...I just want out this loan that they got me on. I see alot of people our getting attorneys for this i just want out this loan and for you guess to stop taking money from me and not providing the services yall said yall was going to do..

    I believe back in September of 2024 alleviated tax reached out to me providing me a service for debt settlement on taxes owed. I did notice there was taxes that needed to be updated and we went ahead and did that. Later in the process and several different caseworkers I was finally given a settlement on the agreement that I paid just over $4,000 which they had me apply for a loan through a participating or a company that work with them closely with getting the financing. We had to do this first before we pursue with any sort of tax resolution to lower my taxes. I was told that if I wasn't satisfied that they would fully refund. Also I was told that I qualified for a reduction and not to respond to any notices or her warnings from the ***. Several occasions I didn't notify them that these letters were getting more serious. I was told to disregard them and now my taxes have doubled in penalties and fees which I believe I'm not responsible for. They told me that my settlement went from ****** down to 3000. Well they were mistaken and they later called me that day and told me that no settlement was made and that I needed to purchase a home protection program. At that time if that raise some red flags and I knew I was scanned. I call that *** directly and talk to them and they didn't know anything about what I was going through and they said they never worked with this text company before. So we ended up settling on a monthly payment directly with the *** and alleviated tax had nothing to do with it I called the *** directly to inform them that I was scanned and that I had to pay a fee for services not rendered. I was pretty upset now I have to make payments of $450 a month to the ***. On top of that if I would have known this I would have settled and made payments on ****** not what I owe now which is doubled because of their incompetence and their delay I was stuck with almost a $15,000 penalties and fees. I will be looking forward to talking to an attorney on4 lawsuit

    I retained their services in 2020. I paid $3521.28 for them to resolve my tax debt for years *********. Each year they request bank statements and tell me to add the current years tax debt to the balance owed. Each year I have NO resolution. Meanwhile I get notices from the *** and they tell me they are working on my case and not to worry. NOW it is 2025 and I get a letter from the *** that I need to pay all my taxes due by Oct 15, 2025! THAT was th "resolution" Alleviate Tax made for me!!!!!!! I want my money back because they did nothing to help! They assured me they could reduce my taxes, they didn't know how much, but it would be reduced. Believe me, IT. IS. NOT!!!!

    On 4/2/2025 ***** **** said they could take on my tax issue for $195. Several weeks later he calls and says although we cant help you, we still did some work. I have not seen any results. This company claims that if they cant help, they can refund your money.
