    I contracted Resort Advisory Group to assist with the cancellation of my timeshare. Their staff was very professional in their dealings with me and my husband as we navigated the timeshare cancellation process. They walked us through all the steps and provided support when we had questions or needed an update. The cost was less than other timeshare cancellation services that we had spoken with but was still expensive (as is to be expected with this type of service). In the end, I cannot speak to their effectiveness as a third-party buyer answered and made an offer on one of our previous ads that we had posted before contracting with RAG. The timeshare developer exercised a right of 1st refusal which ultimately got us out of our timeshare contract. I have no doubt had we continued with RAG services we would have been able to exit our timeshare. We had no debt and only 1 year of back maintenance fees so also unsure of RAG's ability to manage any credit impacts. Hope this review helps someone in the same position as we were. Just so grateful to finally be done with our timeshare!

    Not pleased at all. I signed on with Resort Advisory Group under the impression that they would act as a liaison between the Time Share and myself as I had not had a good experience dealing with the Time Share personnel. Instead, I was told I had to personally obtain certain documents that they were unable to obtain. This totally negated the reason I had signed on with Resort Advisory Group and ended up doing all the work related to severing my ties with the Time Share. Unfortunately, I did not receive back my deposit with Resort Advisory Group, even though they were unable to perform the job I had signed up for them to perform.

    Resort Advisory Group is committed to servicing our customers. However, we cannot do this on our own. We still require the assistance and cooperation of our customers. In this particular instance, and despite repeated requests, the customer, admittedly, refused to provide the necessary cooperation. Their cooperation was needed to obtain certain information which was not accessible to Resort Advisory Group, but easily accessible to the customer. Moreover, our records indicate that particular customer actually refused to execute the requisite documents to be released from her timeshare altogether. Resort Advisory Group cannot assist individuals who refuse to cooperate and follow through on their own behalf. Resort Advisory Group can still assist this individual if she would just work with us and provide the information and cooperation necessary to complete our work.

    I've been with RAG now for THREE YEARS and still nothing has happened. I am still where I started and every time I call I get the same answers as the last time I called; "the demand letter has been sent out, we are waiting on a response from Wyndham." It has gotten so bad that I just call ******** Law Group myself to get answers from them which are unfortunately the same as RAG. The only thing with CLG, I can ask them directly to send another demand letter in hopes that this will be the one knowing that it most likely will not be. I would have to say the past year every time I call RAG I am told that they are still in litigation with ******* and it will take some time for everything to process. At first I thought this was a reasonable response but after hearing time and time and time again you start to wonder what is going on. The way RAG makes it sound is the litigation is RAG/******** Law Group going against Wyndham however, this is NOT the case. The case is ******* vs. ******** Law Group and ********************. The hearings started back in October 2022 and I was told by both RAG and ******** Law Group back in October that the ruling should be out by January 2023. I called both again on 1 February and of course there hasn't been a final ruling and was told a ruling should be out by the end of February. I was told three years ago that it should only take no more than a year to remedy however, here we are three years later waiting to get out of our contract. My wife and I are tired. We paid A LOT of money up front for services that I think should have already been taken care of. I hope that people see this go elsewhere to get out of their timeshare contract.

    I was put in touch with the Resort Advisory Group soon after falling for a timeshare pitch. They informed me I could get out of it if I acted fast. It took a load off my mind. They were pleasant and I felt they really cared about helping.

    We started working with Resort Advisory Group in early 7/2022 and as of 11/4/22 we are completely out of the timeshare and no more obligations. Resort Advisory Group has been great with guiding us step by step. Wonderful customer service, great lawyers and amazing support, throughout the entire process.

    After years of trying to get rid of our Westgate Timeshare, Resort Advisory Group did an exceptional job in transferring this to a new owner. They explained the process and were very easy to contact. Great customer service and we no longer have this obligation with Westgate!!!We would very, very highly recommend Resort Advisory Group to resolve your timeshare challenges!!
