I bought a chair from Howards, on October 21, **** it was delivered a week later, it wasnt used until November 16th. I had just had surgery and the doctor said I would need to have a chair to sleep in for the first 6-8 weeks after surgery. It worked properly for a week and a half. I called Howards and they sent out a repair man. He stated that it needed a new motor. 2 weeks later he came back with a new motor, 4-5 weeks later it started to have the same problems, the chairs full range of motion was not working. I called again the repair man came back, and said he would let the company know that it wasnt worth the trouble of fixing it, and that its probably just a lemon, and that the problem would probably just persist. I was notified today that they were going to send the vender out to take a look and try to fix it. It is a huge inconvenience on my part I payed $2600 for the chair and I dont want a refund I just want a new from a different manufacturer.

We were told to buy a three year warranty on our tv. Weve only had it for 1 year and it has a crack and the tv wont turn on. When we bought the warranty they never said anything about if there was a crack that you cant use your warranty. Im angry and would like a resolution to getting our tv back. Why pay for a warranty that doesnt cover cracks ? Thats not our fault

On July 11 we purchased 4 appliances during the summer promotion event. At the time of purchase, we were told that we would receive a rebate for the tax in addition to the other applicable promotions. We were not given a rebate form, instructions on how to submit a form, in fact we were under the impression that the rebate would be handled by Howards. All that was said is that it would take up to 60 days to receive the rebate. In September contacted the store to inquire on the status of our rebate and i was asked when I submitted the form. We looked through all the paperwork that was given to us in a Howard's folder and there was zero information for us on the tax rebate. I then asked (1) how or where I could get the form and (2) what the submission process was. I was told I would receive the form by email and for me to hurry up and submit it. Upon receipt of the form I began to fill it out I realized that we were given the incorrect receipt. The receipt we received at the time of purchase only showed payment of our initial deposit of $3,200.00. I called again and asked for a copy of our final receipt, which again took several days to receive. Additionally, no where on the receipt does it give any information regarding the promotion or deadine for filing a claim. We spent nearly $30,000 at Howards and the tax rebate was one of the driving forces for our purchase. The lack of information and paperwork given to us is quite honestly unacceptable. I am requesting that our submission be considered timely and the rebate of $2707.55 be sent to us. It was by no fault of ours that we were not given proper information (or none at all) on the process for submitting our claim.

      Hello BBB,

All rebates are time sensitive and end on a specific date, customer is responsible for ensuring that they meet the deadline associated with the proper paperwork.  Howards cannot extend due dates for rebates given that they are facilitated by an outside company. Rules and redemptions are based on legal rules for entering and redeeming and customer is responsible to submit their claim within these guidelines. Howards will try to escalate on behalf of the customer given that the customer states that they initiated a claim before the deadline but did not have the proper receipt.
