    Order date: 4/9/2024 Received paid invoice for $388 Item: new slide for handgun I have sent numerous emails without any response. I do get automatic response asking for 72 hours for a reply, it has been 18 months.

    Ordered Product in March of 2023. Company was initially responsive and explained that they were experiencing long lead times but that I should expect delivery by end of year. At the end of 23 they put on the web they were 3 months behind. I attempted to contact them via the web site, ******** (as they suggested) and email with no response. I have attempted to contact them several more times via Chat, Email, FB etc with no response. One wonders do they still exist?Any assistance is appreciated.V/r ****

    I ordered a new slide for my Springfield hellcat on November 9th of 2022. Order number: *****. DV8 Hellcat Slide :Raptor One :Shield RMSc / Swampfox Sentinel :Armor Black I understand that custom stuff takes time, but upon receiving the order confirmation email on the day that I put my order in, I havnt heard so much as a single word out of this company. I have tried to reach them via email, phone number, instagram, and ********* Multiple times. I would like to hear as little as an update on my order and I would LOVE to actually receive my product. I mean, its ************************* 2022.

    I placed my order on 10/29/22 paid the same day, then told there would be a longer lead time, the picture they used for the color was not accurate, the color got changed by email, not sure if they changed the color, Ive sent at least 4 emails regarding update no reply to any emails, 11/11/23 I was sent an email letting me know it was finished, as of 12/7/23 havent received it and was not given a tracking number

    Customer was NOT offered a partial refund for the order. He was offered a refund for the parts kit. We have not received all the parts from Springfield Armory so we offered the customer to send the slide without the parts kit and refund him for the parts kit. The customer would get his order without having to wait further. It was all explained very clearly to the customer and he was aware the refund was for the parts kit.

    I just wanted to bring to your attention that I am rejecting the response provided because I had paid for a complete assembled slide, not a half-done job. This essentially means that I will be receiving an unfinished slide with missing internal parts. 

    Kindly look into this matter and ensure that the necessary steps are taken to rectify the situation.

    The screenshot you uploaded is exactly of what we said. The parts from *********** did not come in and we offered you to install the extractor and refund you for the rest of the parts kit. We give this option to cut the wait because we have no control of how quickly Springfield gets parts in and then ships them out. Extractor is the only part that does not always transfers over, the rest of the parts transfer. So we gave you that option of what we can do in order to get your order out to you without further wait.

    First and foremost, one of the reasons behind my decision is the fact that I had initially paid for a fully assembled slide. It was my intent to receive a complete product without having to go through the hassle of removing any internal components from my OEM slide. In other words, I expected a hassle-free experience and a ready-to-use item. Unfortunately, the offer you've made seems to require me to dismantle certain parts, which contradicts my initial intentions.

    Secondly, it's important to emphasize that the purpose of my purchase was to acquire a slide in its entirety. If I had wanted mere individual components, I would have chosen to buy the slide separately in the first place. However, my expectation was to have a fully assembled slide that could be immediately put to use without any additional steps or requirements. Therefore, the offer you've presented is not aligned with my original purchase intent.

    In light of these reasons, I kindly decline your offer. I hope you understand my perspective and respect my decision. I would appreciate it if we could explore alternative options that align more closely with my requirements and expectations.

    Please let me know your thoughts, and if there are other possibilities we can consider. I look forward to your response.

    This is untested garbage. I spent $400 extra on two of their "parts kits" just to ensure that there would be no extractor issues. These "extractors" are garbage and they know it. I am putting what they are doing, out there.I have the same error, twice. I bought two of these? That was dumb. There is a seam on the inside of each which scratches a line down the center of the hood of my expensively engraved & coated barrels. These extractors are so badly "custom shaved" that they don't work... & they know it because; DV8Dynamics isn't testing them.These sides/extractors rip bullets apart & leave the bullet-head jammed in the barrel. These extractors are so sharp that it damages cycled bullets beyond further use. They are going to kill people with their garbage! Is ********** kind to gun manufacturers who make deadly parts? I am happy to testify in any court cases against their manufacturing negligence; at the moment. That is where I am at!Where are the 2 functional extractors that I paid $400 for? ... Actually, $1106 for; as the system I bought from them is useless unless the system functions. I don't have that! They know it, too.Their Stuff DON'T WORK! THEY OWE ME $1106.     The problem the customer is describing is not with the extractor or the slide. The problem is with the barrel he is using. We have responded to the customer directly and let him know the same information. He also did not pay $400 for the extractors, each extractor is $50.

    Finally received the slide on 9-12-22 and it was in USMC RED and not the Distressed Red Cerakote I ordered per web site photo I attached. Also, the slide is very tight to assemble nor will it slide all the way in to the frame making the gun inoperable. I promptly emailed DV8 sending them pictures on my new slide and also their own web site photos showing they sent me the wrong color and the send me this email back:

    "As I have said in all my previous e-mails and sent you a screenshot of the cerakote option. You have to select Distressed option not write it in. That is why it is a separate option from all the other options. And it is at a different price. You can’t write it in! You can only select it and pay for it. You did not select it and did not pay for it."
    How can I write that in or the order receipt they sent me?
    They also sent me this email regarding the fitting issues:
    "Our cerakote option is very straight forward. The Distressed option is called “Distressed” so that is what you would need to choose to get Distressed. Our FAQ goes over what you need to do to break in your new slide. All sales are final, if you need assistance we can assist you with the break in of the slide."

    I myself have over 30 years experience in CNC machining and I would never send a product like this out to a customer, let alone speak to a customer in the way DV8 has. They haven't even offered to take the product back for repair, which quite frankly, I wouldn't trust them at this point anyway. I would want a full refund.

    The customer chose $ 75.00 optionWhich is a single color yet wrote in Distressed in the color notes. The Distressed option comes as a separate option which costs $95 not $75. The customer selected a single color and paid for a single color $75 and received a single. If the customer wanted Distressed he should have picked the Distressed option. We have explained it to him via many e-mails. It feels the customer was trying to avoid paying the $95 price of the Distressed option by trying to circumvent it. The Distressed option is very clearly marked and it is a different price so there is no confusing it. The customer mentioned the tight fit and we notified him that it will be tight and needs to be broken in and let him know how to break it in and we also have that information available on our website in our FAQ. We also offered to help him with it and the customers kept e-mail over and over about the color and did not respond about the fit.

     I am rejecting this response because:


    The photos clearly show the color is incorrect and the copy of the order attached clearly indicates "distressed". The cost of the slide was all lumped together so how is one to know whaat does or doesn't cost extra? For DV8 to comment that I was trying to get out of paying extra is ludicrous. Thats no way to speak to a customer that could buy more in the future and refer many friends to DV8. I have several XD9s that I would have bought for from DV8 if this one would have been successful.
    You can see in the photo of the distressed red which is taken from DV8 photo gallery and they sent me USMC red which can also be found on their photo gallery.

    I have also attached photos and videos showing the DV8 slide is very tight and wont allow the barrel to mate properly to enable the slide assembly to install properly. In the video I show the variance in the barrel seating properly in the OEM slide but not properly in the DV8 slide. This feature was mismachined making the slide non functional.

    Photos also show the "chambered round" indicator missing from the new slide as well.

    I just want a full refund and I will go away.
