    We ordered windows from ***********************, AR Windows on February 03, 2023. Signed a contract and sent payment of $2,257.71. He has continuously made excuses for not delivering the windows. He has lied to us, doesn't return calls, emails, or texts. He is a scam artist. We looked on Yelp and there are dozens of complaints about him and his company. He has done the same thing to many others. We are building an ADU for my wife's handicapped sister. Here we are now stuck with no windows and out the money we paid for them.

    Due to high energy costs, we made the decision in July ***************** much needed new windows and sliders and took out a loan. We received estimates from companies in the ** and one was from AR Windows (***********************). **** and his wife ***** showed up for the appointment on time and were very professional and seemed very knowledgeable about the window business discussing pasts clients and pretty much selling their family business (sons, sons-in-law) and how they are all hands-on with their small family owned business in the **.Although AR was a little bit higher on their estimate, we decided to go with them to help support a small family owned business in the **. BIG mistake!On August 3, 2022 we signed a Contract with AR Windows (***********************) to have new sliders and windows installed. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks to have the windows/sliders manufactured, delivered and then installed. The total Contract value is $12,890. The Contract stated 50% deposit upon signing Contract, so we wrote a check and gave them $6,445.Our check was signed by *********************** on August 15th, 2022 and he deposited into his account.In September, we texted ***** now and then to get updates and he would respond within an appropriate time, until November.In November he was days off from responding using excuses, such as, "sorry I thought I hit send to your text." Or, "sorry, were out of town at a wedding. I'll check into the status when we're back in town."I responded, "phew! You had us worried by not responding."That's when the red flags should have gone up, but we trusted this family owned business in the **.On November 9th, he responded that he received 3 of our windows and that the rest were coming in partial shipments. I responded back asking when he'd expected them, but he never responded back. I texted him again on November 22nd and then again on January 22, 2023, but still no response. Then in February we reached out to him again and after several attempts ***** finally answered and thanked us for our patience and said they would be delivered February 23rd. We reached out to him on February 23rd and to date have not heard back from him. We just want our deposit back of $6,445 in order to move forward with a legitimate business and get our energy efficient windows installed.

    ******* son in law knocked on our door Father's *** 2022. We agreed to meet ***** and the son in law on Father's*** to discuss purchasing windows. A few days later, ***** and his wife show up and take measurements for our window purchase. We are asked to pay half up front to cover the cost of ordering the windows and to set an installation date of August. We hear nothing from *****. We call and ask about installation. We were told due to COVID there were delays. Okay, new date given October for installation. November comes and now ***** is avoiding all phone calls and text messages from us. I call using a business phone November 11th, 2022 and ***** picks up the phone immediately. When he discovered it was me calling, he became very uncomfortable and could hardly put a sentence together without back peddling. He gave me the story again about everything being backorder but he did have enough windows to start installation. Installation date of November 28th was given. Again, ***** doesn't call or respond to messages. Today another message was left. We would like to be refunded fully.

    Our experience with AR Windows has been very dreadful and unprofessional. The owner ***** who apparently seemed very responsive at first with all of our questions and concerns.So ***** came out around June 2022 and gave us an estimate which we were comfortable with but he insisted on a 50 percent deposit which we didn't feel comfortable doing from the get go but he proceeded to tell me that his company would not be able to do it without the 50 percent down. So we went ahead and gave him the deposit in the amount of *******. Our windows were suppose to come in on around August which ***** never followed up with us to communicate and let us know the status on things it was always us checking in with him and asking how things were going. Every time he would say well they are on back order due to Covid and so we wait and then he gave us another date which was September so we waited and that date came and once again nothing from him. We called and he would have en excuse every time and this time he said it was due to an error of the windows order placed. So then we waited again another 3 weeks for the windows to be made correctly again and three weeks later nothing again but this time ***** proceeded to tell us that he's sorry but this time the windows were placed incorrectly on his end and to give him additional time to get them reordered correctly. My husband and I couldn't take the lies any longer so we told ***** that we won't be able to wait for them any longer 5 months later we have given him plenty of time. ***** does not return my phone calls or text unless I continuously call or text,but has agreed to return our full deposit back and asked us to wait another few more weeks for him to get a personal loan for 50k and to hang in there to wait again. He now has given us a personal check not a business check another red flag but we went to the bank and no funds we're available please help us resolve this issue. Anyone looking to get windows please don't use them.

    As of today 1/8/2023 we have not had any of our window issue resolved and have not received any windows nor our money back yet.AR Windows buisness is a big scam and they will continue to rob people like us because nobody does anything about it or helps us either. Nobody follows up with us to their is no communicate being made to help us.

    On June 4,2022 we had appointment with ******** reeder for window estimate. ******** n his son showed up at around 9 am.
    They gave me my estimate and gave me a written contract for price n installation. Contract said I had to give him 50% upfront to start the process. We r in October 4, 2022 and he has been giving me the run around game. He took my money and hasn't provided service. Last he offer me a 20 or 30% discount or my refund. I agreed for refund and he said he had to wait for manufacture to refund my money.
    He said it would take 10 day or sooner but nothing. Again he keeps lying to me.
    I payed him 14,384.00 in bofa check. Cashed it the very next day.
    I want this scammer to stop need help.
