    The living room blind got stuck last week, I thought it was just because the fabric looked a bit misaligned but it turned out to be something else. I couldnt find many companies that do repairs, so I was lucky to find LA Custom Blinds. The technician explained that the issue was a damaged roller, he had to take the whole blind down and did a full maintenance check while he was at it. In less than an hour, it was working again, no more noise and it moves smoothly.

    I have never filed a BBB complaint ever. Unfortunately, I am having to do one to help get my deposit back as it has been a 5 months and 6th visit agony dealing with LAcustomblind. First, they brought an indoor blind for an outdoor one, completely different bracket therefore major safety issue. This was discovered by ***** ***** as installation was aborted since the blinds size was too big. After so many visit with inability to get it right and leaving our house exposed to the sun for almost 5 months since they took down our old blinds, I requested a refund but was told by one of the manager ******* ******** that I passed 3 days refund policy thus cannot get my refund back. This was never disclosed to me, nor a contract was given as I would have never signed up for this. But since I got tired of dealing with this and just wanted to get it over with, I gave her another chance. To ******* credit, she help by offering some discount to compensate for the inconvenience which I appreciate the gesture but most importantly just wanted this to be done and move on. Unfortunately, on their 6 th visit, almost 5 month later, the blinds was done correctly but they replaced the U-Box valance ( outdoor case) to an L shape (cover for indoor) which makes no sense as it leaves the blinds and the motor exposed to natural outdoor elements especially rain. It would not last a month. Consequently, after 5 month and 6 th visit of dealing with just 2 outdoor motorized patio blinds. I am giving up as I can no longer trust them. It has been an exhausting experience. Truly, I don't want to deal with LA customs blinds anymore. I have never had anything like this in my life. I just want my $1250 deposit back and I hope BBB can help resolve this matter so to avoid further legal action which I am prepared to do so after all this agony. This is unacceptable by any standard and I cannot believe LA customs blind has an A+ rating.

    We ordered seven indoor window blinds and three large outdoor blinds.The salesman came and showed us the pictures of the blinds and the material. We chose the indoor blind style and the colors. He also showed us pictures of three outdoor blind styles, material colors, and pictures of a blind completely installed with a stabilized cable. These cables are for keeping the blinds in place preventing the wind from slamming them against the wall.The installation people came and installed the indoor blinds. They had no experience in window blind installation. They didn't know how to install the three outdoor blinds to the configuration of our order. They had only the three blinds and no accessory kits (to install the cables). They wanted to install the blinds close to the wall. I told them to stop. I called the salesman and told him about the three outdoor blinds. According to our order agreement, the blinds would be installed away from the wall five inches to allow air circulation.The salesman said that he didn't remember talking about the cables and that the blinds had to be away from the wall five inches. He said that there was no way for the blinds to be installed in such a way.I told him that if the blinds were to be installed simply close to the wall, they would not fulfill our purpose which was to create a shade from the sun in the afternoon and the air circulation from the five-inch space between the wall and the blinds.The second installation people came. They put up the blind cases. There was a 3 to 3 1/2 inches between the wall and the blinds. They had no accessory kits to install the stabilized cables.The LA Custom Blinds kept sending people three more times to finish the installations of the three outdoor blinds. Each time they came; they looked at the blinds and left with doing nothing. I am lost and upset about the way the people at LA Custom Blinds treat us, the customers. I thought they just took our money and left us with their unfinished business.

    Less than 1 star - I placed an order of blinds in November 2023 and they require you to pay full before the install takes place. When they installed the blinds several window blinds were too short. They ordered replacements which were put in March, 4 months later. This order arrived with a different type of blinds for 4 areas. They again said they would reorder the correct type and fitting blinds. **** was non-responsive, *********************** the owner was non-responsive. I have not yet received a replacement to correct these non matching blinds as of June, 2024. I have requested a refund and they don't want to refund my money without taking their blinds back. They removed my old blinds when they installed their blinds. Now they want to leave me with nothing but 7 months of anguish, stress, time wasted and no window coverings. Absolutely horrible. Every time I call, they don't respond to my messages. I went to the office on Friday and spoke with **** and he promised he would let me know by Monday if he could get the correct blinds, and he never called me.

    On 04/12/2024 we had LA custom blinds come out to our home to measure the windows and give us a quote. We agreed on $5,000 however no contract was ever signed and no authorization was made to take payment from my credit card. There were many miscommunications from their sales associate. First he said they had accidently ordered the wrong color for all 11 of my blinds and he wanted to come by and show them to us and see if we agreed on that color that we never picked. He came by showed the blind and said he would come by in a few days to make arrangements to either put up the new color or fix the order and we did not hear back from him. I never received the $500 deposit refund and they charged my account for the full $5,000 on top of the $500 deposit. I never authorized payment for the $5,000 and I never received the blinds that were supposed to be installed. On April 30th, 2024 I reached out on a last attempt to resolve the issue, however ************** was upset and stated we could cancel the order and my deposit would be returned.

    No Stars given, never showed up on installation date or made contact. Then the next day I called and was given the run around with a installation date a week WTH ???????. Extremely Frustrating Disappointing and a waste of my Time.

    Short version: 2+ years & still not satisfied! SO many attempts & promises for LACB to correct various esthetic & operating problems; however, excuse after excuse & always deferred to as "a manufacturer's" problem."Over $5,000 and nothing but frustration! Poor product! Feel we're not only *********** the product we expected -- as advertised and promised -- but at this point monetary reimbursement may be an additional remedy.

    The worst company:
    People are not trustworthy.
    We ordered our blinds on Sept 6,
    were told two weeks **** Today is Nov 1st, nothing is done.
    We are feeling that this is an elderly abuse. We have been calling them almost every day and they ask for more to fix the problems.
    We paid $600.00 in advance.
    Please don't even think to use this company.
