      My experience with the Recording Connection was everything I hoped for. The * Book and online quizzes were straightforward and extremely informative. My mentor ****** ******* went above and beyond to make sure I understood key concepts. Observing real studio sessions was priceless, showing me exactly what it meant to be an engineer in a professional studio. And my academic facilitator **** ****** was always there when I needed them, answering any question I had no matter how big or how small. Im beyond grateful to have gone through the program.

      My experience with **** was great! The best part for me was the hands-on learning with a mentor. A book can only teach you so much and in terms of audio engineering there isn't always an exact science on how to do everything. So the best way to learn was to go in and record and mix in a real studio. My mentor was amazing, and the clients I worked with were so nice and easy to work with. My academic advisor called every week to answer any questions which was super helpful. The only small issue I had was that the career services is said to do more in the syllabus than what they actually offer. In order to fix this, the syllabus just needs to be updated.

      My second ****** taught me a lot. My second ****** is a very nice guy and has helped me with so much. Communication with my advisor was terrible. My advisor Ignored majority of the questions I asked him. Too expensive.

      **** is the perfect school to get hands on training for music production. My mentor was very patient, knowledgeable, and versatile with the overall process of professional music production. The experience was awesome, as I was able to work and practice my craft in a professional studio environment alongside many talented individuals who helped me out along the way.

      I got to have many great hands on experiences learning under RRFC, I got to go film at important events, meet other like minded creatives, learn lots of new skills with equipment and film, and really get a feel for what working in the industry could be like. My mentor was a reliable source for questions and a helpful guide for many of the events I took part in. I only wish I got to spend even more time on different projects, but the ones I did get to be a part of I always felt like I was learning something new. If there was anything the program could improve, I'd say its the planning and scheduling around projects. The program is advertised for being very flexible with someones schedule, which it succeeds in, but I often felt I had to ask what projects were coming up to see I could work on them rather than being told directly or through a planning sheet of some kind. I think I missed opportunities for work because I wasn't aware of something I could have taken part in. Besides that, I felt I had a great and beneficial time learning here, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more through real work in film.

      The program was great. The one on one hands on is definitely easier than reading about it only especially if your a hands on learner like myself. Having the guidance of your mentor through the program and learning at low stress pace is helpful too. The only things I would say that were difficult at times was the communication between the school and myself and the layout of the textbook would get confusing at times because of learning from no previous knowledge and being new to how audio engineering works but also reading materials in one section and then later on it being explained. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn about audio engineering.
