      Avoid Retreat at Bothell Unprofessional Management and Terrible Experience I lived at Retreat at ******* for 2.5 years, and to say my experience was horrible would be an understatement. Throughout my stay, I had multiple unpleasant encounters with the leasing office over issues that could have easily been resolved with basic professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, that was rarely the case.Noise was a constant issueparticularly from the neighbors upstairsbut the tipping point came when rent hikes were introduced without meaningful improvements to justify them. I decided to move out in February, and at that point, I was fully paid up and in good standing.Despite this, the management withheld my $1,000 security deposit and came up with exaggerated repair charges, eventually telling me I would only receive around $190 back. To make matters worse, they issued the refund check with the guarantors name on itsomeone who does not even live in **************** it impossible for me to cash.Since February, I have been chasing them for a corrected check. Its now mid-July, nearly five months later, and I still havent received anything. The leasing office continues to give me the runaround with vague explanations that make no sense.I strongly urge anyone considering living here to read through all the reviews carefullymany others share similar experiences. Between poor management, unjustified fees, and lack of accountability, Retreat at ******* has been one of the worst housing experiences Ive ever had. Avoid this place at all costs.

      This review is specific to ***** at the society, which is managed by Decron:The leasing team at ***** at the Society has shown a complete lack of transparency, fairness, and basic decency in how they handle lease renewals and resident concerns.1. ???Misleading & Inconsistent Renewal Process - We requested our lease renewal over a month in advance, when other tenants were receiving discounted rates. Instead of honoring those offers, the leasing office delayed giving us our renewal until after those discounts expired, forcing us into higher rates. When questioned, we were given contradictory explanations. First, they claimed rates were based on market trends, then said they were based on individual tenant pricing. Which is it?2. ???Manipulative ****************** Tactics - After delaying our renewal, they gave us a last-minute deadline to accept inflated rates, leaving us with no real choice but to sign under pressure. Despite promising "flexibility", this process was anything but that.3. ???Complete Disregard for Tenant Safety - My girlfriend was physically assaulted by another tenant and verbally harassed for months, with no real action taken by management. Despite us remaining in good faith as tenants, this serious issue was completely ignored in lease discussions; no concessions, no acknowledgment, nothing.The leasing team and management do not care about their residents, only how much money they can squeeze out of them. If you're considering moving here, beware: you will be treated as nothing more than a dollar sign while facing shady business practices and zero accountability. It's sad because there leasing team used to be great, but they all left because of the toxic environment. The only saving grace to this location is the location.

      *** encountered significant security issues at "The Retreat"managed by Decron Properties. Despite multiple reports of unauthorized attic access and disturbances, the management has failed to take effective action. Promised security measures were not implemented, leaving my familys safety at risk. Maintenance attempts to fix related damages were inadequate, indicating a deeper problem. The lack of proper response to such a serious matter is concerning and suggests a disregard for tenant rights and well-being. Don't waste your money. Anything is better than this garbage.

      We were constantly harassed by parents and kids. And had to leave the apartments. It was to harmful to stay there and unsafe. It was a hostile environment. There was a lot of problems. First it was none smoking and the neighbors we have problems with smoked. It stunk up our apartments. And it was bad. Parents came to my house to fight me. One guy who still lives there stocks me. He uses his apartment there as a strong hold to harass me. He was sending his kids to my house to throw rocks at our apartment. And we left and abandoned the apartment it was to unsafe.

      WARNING: This place is a total nightmare! I just moved out after 4 years, which was about 3.5 years too long. Property management is inexperienced, unresponsive, unreliable, rude, unprofessional and has a very, VERY high turnover rate. The newest management (as of September 2023) is BY FAR the worst! Besides being all of the above, they illegally raised everyones rent without notice then promptly sent out eviction notices. And good luck trying to bypass them & contacting Decron (property owners out of **********). Theyre always unavailable & will never get back to you.Property is wildly unsafe and prone to tons of vandalism/criminal activity. Cars are constantly broken into (including mine ~ 3 times in 2 months), mailboxes are pried open, mail/packages stolen, shootings/car-************************ only getting worse. Security is nonexistent & they refuse to put cameras anywhere around the complex (except the leasing office).I wouldnt recommend ************** to anyone! I would give half a star if I could. Save your money and your sanity!!!!

      When it came time to move out I was told that my Cleaning job was spectacular. I assured the property Manager ***** **** that I did everything the ********** Government site states needed to be done to get my deposit back.She had a concern about the bedroom carpet. It was worn down after 2.5 years of living there. She said she may need to charge us for the carpets. So I asked her to let us know before our official move-out date. I never heard back, I followed up a few weeks later as we had not heard anything about our deposit. ***** then shared she would send me a check for $709 out of a $1,000 deposit. I asked her for an invoice for a $291 carpet cleaning for 1 section and it being only 1 room with carpet, that amount seems excessive. I never got the $709 check either.I had to escalate my issue to her Manager ***************** who was also difficult to get responses out of. She was able to get ***** to send me an invoice and it showed carpet cleaning and painting of the walls. The wall painting was discussed as a normal covered charge. I felt once I called her out on the expensive carpet cleaning I was sent a made-up invoice to include the painting. It shouldn't take anyone 2+ months to send an invoice that already existed. *************** they mailed me the $709, But I told her I hadn't received it. On one account she emailed me saying it was sent to the office by mistake, but in her voicemail, she said the check was sent to the apartment I moved out of and had given them my new address on 2 separate forms before moving out.It took me posting on the Decron site that I had this issue get some resolution. *** said ***** would send me the full amount for my inconvenience. I thanked her but asked her to confirm the amount I would be sent, but never heard back.2 days later I received the original check showing the apartment address and a sticky note sharing that the other check for $291 would be mailed to **** moved out on 9/3/2023 I still don't have a full resolution.

      DECRON Property management is he parent company to Tamarron Luxury Apartment complex in *******, **. Tamarron is in violation and it is impossible to get a hold of parent company Decron. Tamarron is moving in people who are subleasing their spare bedrooms, no background checks, domestic violence, constant violations of no smoking policies on entire property. ****** at Tamarron is very rude and dismissive doesn't want to deal with any negativity only keeps increasing the rent. We have all been subjected to background checks with the exceptions of my downstairs ******************************** at *************** says that is MY JOB! NO! that is her job. NO accountability, no initiation to fins out out who in fact is living in apartment **** nor does she care. She rolls her eyes at you and dismisses you. Very rude and uncaring. Everytime I email decon or call and leave message I get noting in return.No call backs, no emails. Decron is a bad company and now Tamarron is too.
