    They need to be flagged for FRAUD. I agreed to a monthly payment plan which was affordable for my online website of $20/mo. Next thing I know on Dec 24, 2024 they charged me almost $500 for a upfront yearly subscription that I NEVER authorized the charge. So they locked me out my account. They have bots respond and they refused to let me back in my account Unless I paid for reactivation of the service. ABSOLUTELY NOT I am entitled to have access to download my personal images, contacts and move on. They keep saying my account is unlocked to use. yet the login says contact customer service. I HOPE they get SHUT DOWN or audited!!!!

    I used *** previously for my website but after about a year I wanted to move to a monthly payment instead of yearly. When I went to downgrade, I was under the impression Id signed up for monthly payments but I received a $336 charge for two years worth of subscriptions. I promptly reached out to *** about the payment and was told it would be 20 days for a RESPONSE to this matter. After the 20 days, I reached out to the company and was assured Id receive a refund within a week or so. I followed up when the agent advised me to and was told it was being forwarded to the relevant department to investigate the matter and that they would issue the refund once the refund was approved. Its been over a month. No update, just a bunch of catty responses from the Wix customer support team. What a horrible business. I hope Wix gets shut down and if anyone wants to file a class action lawsuit against this unethical business practice I will gladly join!

    ******* customer service - there is no way to speak to a person - only a ChatBot, which provides minimal information. There is no direct sustainer service line to settle complaints. the only way to have a dialogue with the company to threaten their chatbot with a call to the BBB, and magically an offer to receive a call back is offered.The company works on a typical subscription model in which they repeatedly bill you for services that are provided without ample notice of the renew fee or its cost. The business is duplicitous and predatory at best.

    ******** Review for Wix:**? 1/5 As a marketing agency thats worked with *** for over a decade, creating hundreds of sites for clients, weve always trusted the platform to deliver reliable service. Unfortunately, our recent experience has been a nightmare. Our entire account has been locked *twice* in the past week with no clear reason or notice, and each time, we've received vague emails about subscription cancellations with zero details on which site or client it affects. The lack of transparency has led to significant issues: clients' websites went offline, including three restaurants, and we were left with no way to identify or resolve the issue because our account was completely inaccessible. Instead of a proactive heads-up to update any billing info, we were essentially shut out with no way to manage the situation. As an agency that has referred countless clients to Wix, this treatment is incredibly disappointing. We need a solution that values long-term partnerships and offers real support when issues arise. If Wix can't address this, we'll have to reconsider our relationship.
