    On June 20, 2025, I was charged $89.69 by Placeit Empowerkit. After reviewing my transaction history, I also found that I was charged the same amount on June 20, 2024. These appear to be recurring subscription charges that I did not knowingly authorize, and I never received any email reminders or warnings before renewal.I was not made aware that I had signed up for an auto-renewing subscription, and I was given no clear option on the Placeit website to cancel or manage billing. The lack of transparency and customer controls feels deceptive and predatory.I contacted the company through their support page requesting cancellation and refunds, but I have not received a response.I am requesting a full refund for both the 2024 and 2025 charges ($179.38 total) and immediate cancellation of any active subscription.I expect this to be resolved promptly and fairly.

    The customer reached out to request a refund on their 2024 and 2025 renewal charges and also request to delete his account, the customer service ***resentative that handled the case explained refund rules and mentioned 2024 is not elegible for a refund and processed the 2025 as an exception, CS *** initiated the process to delete the account as well.

    These are the Placeit terms of use and clauses related to auto renew and refund rules ****************************************************;

    14. Subscribing and payment plans: By subscribing to Placeit, you acknowledge that you are signing up for a recurring payment plan in order to use Placeit and the Placeit Templates. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period, the frequency and payment method being selected by you at the point of first payment confirmation and checkout. Payment will be charged to your nominated payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

    27. Assessment of refund requests: We will assess refund requests on their merits, at our discretion. There is generally no obligation to provide a refund in situations like the following:
    - you have changed your mind about your subscription or a one-off purchase;
    - you subscribed or made a one-off purchase by mistake;
    - you do not have sufficient expertise to use the Placeit Templates;
    - you ask for goodwill;
    - you can no longer access a particular Placeit Template because it has been removed from Placeit (we advise you to create and download your Customized Products frequently or as soon as possible them to avoid this situation);
    - you cancel your subscription before the end of the then current billing period; or
    - we made changes to the User Terms, unless those changes materially adversely affect your rights or your use of Placeit and in which case we may provide a refund for any whole unused months remaining in your subscription period;
    - we have suspended your access to Placeit in accordance with these User Terms.

    I was promised a full refund in May of 2025 by this company because i cancelled within the 14 day refund policy. My money was never refunded. When I complained again in June of 2025, I was told it was outside the 14 days so I could only get a partial refund.

    The customer request a refund for the subscription and mentioned he did not authorize the account activation, he also mentioned that he was not aware he was signing up via ******(Social Authentication) our customer service representative explained how to remove the social authentication and helped with the cancellation and partial refund. According to our terms customer was not elegible for a refund and as a gesture of good will we offered it.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I requested a full refund within the 14 days and was told my refund was being processed. 
    30 days later the refund still had not been processed so I requested it again.

    i was then told that it was outside the 14 days so I could only get a partial refund.

    I even showed them the email where they told me I was getting a full refund within the 14 days and they still refused to honor it.

    I set up a dropshipping account with *********Their entity suggested I sign up for a Placeit account to obtain better mockups.I paid for a yearly subscription and added a discount. Yet, I was charged for the full amount.The service can't integrate with Printify. I've submitted over twenty trouble tickets, but I haven't prevailed.I finally left a bad review on Trust Pilot. A Placeit member responded that they knew there was an issue with integrating with ********. They also suggested downloading directly from the Placeit site and uploading it to Printify, but this still didn't *******'s affecting my business and causing grief.I've requested a partial refund three times, but it has been ignored. This is the only fair option since their system isn't working. Yet, they are still taking subscriptions.
