    Ive been a PlaceIt user for a couple of years but hadnt accessed the service in quite some time. I was surprised when an annual renewal charge was debited from my account without any prior notice. I promptly contacted customer service to request a refund, only to be told that their terms of use do not include sending renewal reminders. In my experience, this is not standard practice for most reputable companies especially for annual subscriptions.Despite my immediate outreach and the fact that I had not used the service recently, they would only offer a partial refund. I corresponded with a representative (****) over several days, but they held firm on their policy. Ultimately, I accepted the partial refund to close the matter.I sincerely hope PlaceIt reconsiders its renewal practices and begins sending advance notifications to customers. Relying solely on legal fine print instead of transparent communication erodes trust and diminishes long-term customer relationships.
