In Jul my a/c stopped working. Contacted them because the system is under warranty and just over a year old. They came out several times to recharge the freon. They were supposed to come out and do a freon leak test because of all the freon that was needed to fill the system. On the day scheduled for the leak test nobody showed up. No one called or texted me about it. I called the company left voice messages and sent sms notifications. They have not responded to me. Now the system stopped working again. They don't answer or return calls and my family still suffering from the heat.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new Heat Pump HVAC system from ******* and had them install it June 7, 2023. On June 12th, 2023, I contacted employee *************************** who was my point of contact and advised I discovered the Bosch Heat Pump I had installed, qualified for a homeowner rebate. He said he advised ******* Owner ***** and that ***** said he would contact Bosch the following day. On July 28th, I asked ******** for a rebate update. On July 31, 2023 ******** said he was working on getting the info and would get back to me, but he did not. On August 18, 2023 I text'd ***** asking for the status of the rebate. He advised the paperwork was submitted 3 weeks ago and the rebate usually takes 7-8 weeks. On September 27, 2023, I text'd ***** advising it had been over 8 weeks and requested a rebate status. He did not respond, so I text him again 9/29, 10/3, 10/5, 10/12, 10/20 & 10/25 and still no response. On 11/1,2023, I text ***** advising I see other complaints on BBB regarding his company and I had refrained from also filing a complaint and advised I hope he did not fraudulently keep my rebate and would give him 1 day to reply. On 11/2/2023, I received a voice message from ********* stating ***** had been deer hunting, apologized for the delay and would cut a check directly to me if my rebate was not processed soon. I text'd ********* and ***** on 11/3/2023 advising I no longer elected to wait and to 1: send check 2: include documentation so I could confirm rebate amount 3: who to make the check out to 4: provided my PO Box 5: respond to text when check mailed. Text them 11/10 & no response. Text them 11/11 saying I didn't appreciate being ignored. On 11/12, ***** said the check was mailed "last week" & to let him know if I received by Wed 11/15. On 11/15, ***** asked if I received the check and I told him I did not. On Monday 12/11/23, I text ***** and ********* at 7:18am and again at 4:09pm and advised I still have not received the check. This is in regards to the above complaint regarding the rebate refund. A cashiers cash was sent however the customer stated it was never recieved. WE will reissue anothe today and give a tracking number. The comfortably ********** rebate was a 1st come 1st serve rebate meaning it was good until the funds ran out. During the application process funds from this government program were exhausted. But we are still willing to give the rebate out of pocket.

I am rejecting this response because:
My apologies. I receive so many emails, I never saw an email from BBB until now.
1)Fel-Air has not kept their commitment. They have not sent any money to me.
2)Their reply on 1/24/24 in the BBB database states they will submit a cashier's check to me on 1/24/24 and provide a tracking #. I do not see a tracking number entered in the BBB database response. Nor have I received a cashiers check.
3)Their reply also states, the funds ran out which they NEVER told me this. If the funds ran out, it was because of their negligence in delaying submitting paperwork.
4)My complaint has not been resolved.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: Fel-Air "has not" sent me a check. The owner ***** text me on 11/11/2023 stating a check had been mailed to me last week. On 11/15/2023, ***** asked me did I receive the check and I responded the same day and told him No; I did not receive the check. I informed him again 12/11/2023 I did not receive the check and he did not respond. I texted him on 2/13/2024 advising him I did not receive the check he informed BBB he would send to me on 1/24/2024 so I was going to file another complaint. And of course, he did not respond again. If he has any relationship with the truth, he will provide BBB with documentation of the check he allegedly mailed in January 2024.Initial Complaint

I purchased a mini split heat pump about 2 years ago. I have had a couple issues with one of the heads. Fel air always was very responsive to the issues. I have been having an issue again with one wall unit, they came out earlier this year but the issue was never resolved. Now issue with temp control is being problematic with warmer weather. I have called and texted the company over 20 times in last couple weeks. NO ONE responds! I would like this fixed. I ve told them in past if there is service charges I have no problem with that. I would have rated them 5 stars previously but not anymore.Initial Complaint

I paid $7000 for a new air conditioner and heating unit to heat and air my entire house. After installing it they claimed that the ducts in my attic were incorrect and the unit only heats 1 room in my house the bedroom. They also have come 5 to 6 times to fix issues on the unit. Faulty parts noises etc. The electricity also constantly goes out when the heat is on. On one of their last visits in August it caused a leak and it ruined my new laminate flooring. Whne I contacted the owner he sent someone out to fix the leak which he claimed was no longer leaking what a surprise and refused to pay the deductible on my home owners insurance. When I asked them for an estimate to fix the ducts they quoted me another $7000 and said who ever gave you the initial estimate should have looked in the attic. So now I am in a house with a faulty unit using space heaters to heat the rest of the house - a ruined laminate floor and a breaker box that I need to use the electricity because they gave me a ****** up initial estimate.Business Response

In regards to ****** ******* the unit indeed had a few faulty issues but we were there every time she called. The last visit was in August when she complained of a water leak in the garage. The water leak was due to a clogged drain pipe which is tied in to her existing plumbing. Ive also made a few attempts at calling the homeowner and havent recieve a response
