On October 19th I came into the business and paid to wash four loads of laundry. When I went to put the clothes in the dryer, the owner of this business verbally attacked me. She came very close to me and and in threatening tone, loudly & aggressively told me that the dryers were only for customers who washed their clothes here. I told her I just washed my clothes in the washer and I was a customer. I also told her that the way she was speaking to me was out of line. She told me that I needed to watch the way I was speaking to her, the only words I said were, I did wash my clothes here. Then another employee came out and started shouting incoherently. She was rambling on about rules that customers needed to follow. I could tell she was possibly disabled and she wasnt making sense. When I said nothing, She then said, silence, yeah I thought so she walked back into her office and yelled out loudly dont come back! This kind of harassment is unacceptable for any business. I should not be verbally harassed for washing my clothes. Especially since I saw the owner go out for lunch while I was washing my clothes. She was not paying attention to me washing my clothes, then got angry and jumped to conclusions when she came back from lunch and saw me putting clothes in the dryer.

    Business Response

I am unable to attached audio and video surveillance of the October 19 event. I would appreciate a zoom meeting to play the videos of the incident.  I Oreyda ****** did approach the customer and asked the simple question if she was there to dry only because we do not allow dry only. The customer responded with attitude and I am heard on video asking her why the instant attitude from her when I was simply trying to explain to her why I asked the question, the customer then asked me if I'm hearing my tone and that's when I asked her the same question. The employee in the office heard what was going on and she asked me if she needed to call the police and i answered no and then the employee took over the conversation and never did she tell the customer "not to come back"  its all on video and audio. Customer failed to tell you that 1 hour later the employee and I were outside waiting for transportation when she, the customer came out of the laundromat and as she was passing by us made hateful discriminatory remarks to the blind employee and I'm seeing on video approaching customer who then begins to record me and im simply letting her know she was unnecessarily rude and that her remarks were uncalled for. As I was walking back to employee she made more remarks but was no longer recording and im asking her why aren't you recording what you just said then she threatens to call police on us and the blind employee challenges her to do so. The police shows up and they do not take any action, they here what she has to say and they drive off that's on video as well> She is claiming she wants a refund and that she washed 4 loads when in fact she only washed 1 load and she is on camera only putting 1 load in dryer. We have audio and video surveillance 24/7. I would appreciate a zoom meeting to play the videos in our defence. The customer was the aggressor. Thank you.
