On July 27, 2022, I purchased an electric moped and rear rack on Zoom's online store, paying $2186 using my credit card. The merchandise has not been delivered. I have contacted Zoom repeatedly over the past 6 weeks and have been told each time that the merchandise would be delivered 'early next week' but each time was disappointed. They have been unwilling to provide any details regarding the shipping method or any tracking information.Business Response

This issue has been resolved. After repeated requests to arrange for me to pick up the merchandise from a shipping warehouse, I demanded a refund. Zoom then arranged to make a second shipment via FedEx Freight, which is scheduled to arrive this week.Initial Complaint

I ordered a scooter from Zoom Scooter on 9/3/2022 on my credit card. I contacted Zoom Scooter on 9/22/2022 on the status of the delivery they stated it was on rail transport. I contacted them again on 10/12/2022, they stated I would receive the scooter in 1-2 weeks. I emailed them again on 10/26/2022 and Zoom Scooter stated because of the shortage of drivers it was taking longer to be delivered. They also stated "other" companies are taking 3-4 months for delivery. On 11/2/2022, after waiting 9 weeks, I requested a full refund. Zoom Scooter stated my Scooter would be delivered between 11/12/2022 to 11/17/2022 and offered me a **** credit. I feel I have been more than patient and I am requesting a full refund. Zoom Scooter wants to charge me a cancellation fee. I kept my end of the bargain by paying for this item and waited patiently. They did not keep there end of the bargain and deliver my item in a timely matter.Initial Complaint

Zoom Electric Scooter purchased March 9, 2022 for $1,949 (not including tax). Arrived May 21, 2022 (later than expected/informed). Multiple requests for Certificate of Origin/Title produced a delivery of this mid/late July. Light daily use only in dry weather and stored indoors always and charged after each use. Stopped working properly/safely August 15, 2022: Zoom Scooters contacted, informed to check wiring connections and charge overnight, after checking all wiring connections (all good) and charging it was still not working. Diagnosed as defective throttle. Replacement throttle sent by Zoom several days later and installed, scooter still not working properly and is unsafe. Zoom immediately contacted and new diagnosis is defective starter switch. As of today (October 17, 2022) replacement starter switch has not arrived despite contacting Zoom multiple times. Scooter has been unusable since August 15. Local scooter shops are unwilling to look at the scooter to diagnose or fix due to the manufacturer. As a result I am stuck with a defective scooter until Zoom honors their warranties and properly works at remedying the situation. We have had to rely on rides to work from others as a result. This has been a terrible experience, and a potential loss of $2,000.Initial Complaint

After about 7 months of use my brake fluid started leaking. I refilled it but it kept leaking. Communicated with Zoom on 7/18/22 and ordered and paid for a new brake fluid box and gasket and a new blinker (that randomly broke off). Three months later no parts. Many emails saying "two weeks" but 12 weeks later nothing. The brake fluid leaked all over the horn button in the meantime and now that is broken too. It's a great product until something needs to be repaired or fixed. Don't count on ever receiving the parts. If that's the case it is basically considered a disposable scooter because you won't ever be able to get it repaired. So frustrating.Initial Complaint

I purchased 2, (two) scooters from Zoom online at the end of July. Zoom scooters cashed my credit card purchases on August 1,2022. The amounts taken from my credit card are identical. $2076. 92 times two..
After attempting to determine status of my scooters I was told they we in transit.
Weeks later I contacted Zoom for updates. I was told they were at the Port in Oahu. I requested a bill of lading or a tracking number to determine when the scooters would be delivered and where they were presently. Zoom refused to send me any info. I then requested a cancellation and refund on both.
I was assured by Zoom that I would receive a refund within 2-4 business days.
This did not happen. I called them and they had blocked my phone number.
I emailed them and received no reply. In my view this is an extremely unscrupulous business.
I am requesting a refund for both purchases. $2076.92 times 2.Business Response

My wife ordered a scooter from Zoom Electrical Scooters costing $2,065 on June 1st 2022. She was informed that delivery would take approximately four weeks. When this time had elapsed she contacted Zoo e Scooters again and was told there would be a delay, The delivery date was pushed back and back until August 28th which came and went with no scooter. Shortly after, on September 2nd she requested to cancel the order and asked for a full refund. As of today, Monday 12th September, the money has not been refunded. Customer service has been non-existent and it is not possible to get anyone on the line at Zoom E Scooters to discuss this. She wishes a full refund.Business Response

I took delivery of a zoom electric scooter on 07/25/2022. Now it's more than a month later and I still have not received a manufacturer's certificate of origin, or a vehicle identification number. I need both of those documents to get a license plate to use the scooter on the streets where I live. 6/4; Ordered two weeks prior and no communication from Zoom, emailed them, received email back stating the scooter is shipping at the end of June.

Good morning, On January 15th, 2022 I purchased a Zoom Scooter with my debit card online for, $1949.00.
Order # ***************
( It was supposed to come with a Free Helmet, but it did not).
The Scooter arrived 2 months later on March 15th, 2022.
The titled arrived 6 months later on July 1st, 2022.
The only way to communicate with Zoom Scooter is through text, because no one ever answers the phone.
I have all the text messages.
The Scooter is beautiful and I love how it looks, but I couldn't ride it because it took them 6 months to send the Title.
My ultimate goal was to ride this in early spring once the weather became nicer.
However, because I live in ********; I needed the Title to insure it and register it with the Department of Motor Vehicle.
I had to wait 6 months for the Title to do this.
To date I haven't received the free helmet, which was a deciding factor in making this purchase.
I also asked Zoom Scooter to compensate me for my 6 month wait and time for the Title, and for my inconvenience.
They offered me $150.00.
I haven't received the $150.00 as of today, but that amount is still unacceptable for a 6 month wait for a Title.
This is the United States of America, we have technology, ******, Overnight Shipping, etc.
I do understand that different states my have different regulation for obtaining the Title, but Zoom Scooter need to put that on their website so buyers can make an better decision during the purchasing process of their Scooter.
I am asking this agency to please help me get my free helmet and to negotiate for a fairer monetary amount than $150.00 I was offered by a manager according to a text message.
I still haven't received the $150.00 offer yet.
This agency may understand what type of compensation I am entitled to under the law.
And I trust your judgment.
