One of the worst experiences I have had with what calls itself a business. My wife googled a number for what she thought was ********** Blue Shield. She started talking to the representative as she was seeking health care for her and her daughter. She asked me to help with the call. The salesperson was pleasant. We signed up for plans for her and her daughter. When we received the messages for payment, we noticed that we were paying UCA, not ********** Blue Shield. We asked who UCA was. That's when they told us that they were UCA and that they shared the payment with ********** Blue Shield. Later we decided we did not want to do business with this company and stopped payment. The credit card provider told us that we needed to contact the merchant and cancel with them directly and get cancellation numbers from the merchant, then the credit card company would cancel the payment. We called UCA today to cancel and their agent refused to give us the number. We called three times, got the same guy on the phone and each time he refused. He was rude, condescending and extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. I would give them zero or negative stars if possible.

My daughter is turning 26 and would no longer have medical coverage. She had been searching for the right type of insurance. She was misled into thinking that she was signing up for a program that was affiliated with the *************** Act. She called me to listen in on the call with the agent. The sales pitch sounded good. It was only after I paid her initial down-payment that I found out that she went to a site that said www.obamacareplans.com. I called the number associated with the payment and it was permanently closed. Everything I've seen has shown me that this is a scam that takes advantage of people's need for health coverage. I had to cancel my card and have a new one issued to prevent potential further charges.I would like a full refund because we have not received any goods nor services yet. There was a 30-day window in which to cancel. I would like to use that option. They are misleading people.

I fee like I was really mislead on the phone as to what I was agreeing to. I was paying $225 per month for "insurance" while I was in a temp-to-hire situation and was still paying $75 for three months of birth control and still had to pay $224 for the ONE dr **** I had while on their insurance. When I called, they told me they applied a discount of 5-50% percent but $224 is outrageous for a 20-minute dr **** that is usually a $20 co-pay. I would have saved money by seeing the dr and on my script by paying out of pocket for the 4 months I was on their insurance.

Dear **********************,Unified Caring Association (UCA) has received your review. We thank you for giving us the feedback on what transpired. UCA takes every complaint very seriously, and we are doing a full investigation. We have reviewed your file and it is recorded that you signed up on April 28, 2021. On this day you were sent an e-signature document that lists all the benefit information. We send this document so that our potential members are fully aware of the benefits. It is documented that you read and signed this document on April 28, 2021. However, as a reassurance, we do provide our members with a 30-day look period. If for any reason they are not satisfied, the policy can be cancelled, and a full refund is issued. It is noted on your file that you signed into your online fulfillment on June 8, 2021 and accepted the verification details. This additional verification lets you know that this is not a major medical plan and provides our members with all their plan benefits. It also provides our contact information in case you have any questions or concerns. The only time we heard from you was when you called to cancel your plan and stated that the reason you were cancelling was because you got employment with coverage. We regret that you had a challenging experience and, as mentioned, we will look into this immediately. Naturally, we feel upset when we hear that an agent did not give the correct information. If you have any questions or would like to speak with us, please contact ******************************* at **********************. Again, please accept our sincere apologies.Sincerely,Unified Caring Association

I felt that the explanation of my coverage over the phone was much different than the information I received about my coverage after registering. I've sent an email to cancel the purchase and be refunded.

This company is a true scam. They are pretending to be a part of the Government Health Insurance. They also have you believing that they are. When they send you the e sign over the phone, you as a consumer have no idea what you are agreeing to. The e sign document when questioned was not what was intended or explained. It states that you are signing up for member services and it has nothing to do with health insurance but when you question them they state that it is just for the first part of vision and dental it has nothing to do with the payment for insurance and they try to confuse you. Do Not Agree to anything that they send you!!
