    Everything makes me so upset. I am a social science student need to conduct research interview and one of my instructor recommended this software. It works for my transcription but the unreasonable billing process without notifying me makes me so frustrated. And as an owner for a business account, I cannot even access my plan, cancel auto renew by myself and change payment.I was not informed by any term that add another member costs extra money.I add another member (my another account) because I cannot see plan for my business account! I just want to see if my membership was cancelled successfully! How ridiculous it is! I paid $240 annual business membership but even cannot operate my account! But I can view plan for my basic account. Your company is exploiting business memberships. I want to be nice and polite but what your company did prevent me being a nice customer. The unclear and hidden settings for business account disobey fair trade law.I have submitted request refund but do not have an idea how this will work. The comment still gets charged after cancellation of subscription made me really nervous. The amount of money is still pending on my bank account, I will work with my bank to file a claim. If it doesnt work, I will go to ***. If not, then take legal action. I hope these info will help some customers, especially those struggling like me.

    I rejoined ********* a month ago, paying for a full year of the service, on the promise that all my archived transcriptions from a few years ago would be restored. None were restored, so I immediately reached out to customer support over email, opening support request ******. Its now been over a month and customer support has stopped replying to me and failed to resolve the issue. Ive been paying for the service for a month and I am completely unable to use it in the way I need to.

    I have been getting charged for 4 months by this company and yet I cant even login under emails or ************ accounts. I dont even recall ever signing up for this or ever using whatever theyre selling! They have not responded to my many email attempts requesting that they cancel my account and there is no way to contact them on their support chat the chat bot disconnects you as soon as you ask for a real person. At this point they are just stealing money!

    I have been using this product for over a year now. I decided to upgrade to the business plan for $20/month (annual subscription) on March 5. After I upgraded, I was charged $30/month (monthly subscription). I have now sent three emails to their support that have gone unanswered. I understand mistakes happen. All I wanted was a $90 refund for the monthly bills (Mar, Apr, May) and to be charged $240 for the annual business plan. I do not understand why this has been so challenging.

    I purchased a subscription after using the free version when everything was working fine. Now, over the last few weeks, ***** will not join any platforms - ***** ****** Meet etc. I shows up on the participants list on the platform and the host clicks admit but ***** doesn't ever join. I have sent several tickets with no resolution - only one response that didn't resolve the issue and then dead silence. Canceled the subscription that was just billed in March for an entire year. I'd like a full refund.

    i signed up for a year subscription for a transcribing service from Otter.ai, and i cannot get it to work the way i need it to. i put in a service ticket asking how to use a common Word function called "find and replace", and i have not received a response. i also cancelled the subscription but apparently, ***** wants you to pay for the whole year even though you are not using that subscription. i feel this is unethical, and i created another service ticket stating that i want my money back because i am not using the service. it does not transcribe well (Word does better), and i have to open other applications to edit transcribing. I went to some of their social media boards and many people are complaining about the same thing with lack of customer service, billing charges and that this is a scam because once they have your money, you have no recourse. i would like someone to contact and refund my money for a product that has been misrepresented and has no customer service behind it.

    My minor child paid for a $10 a month subscription to Otter.ai. She was then charged not $120, but $239.98. We have both reached out to customer support with no response, and she is unable to get any part of her money back. She would like to cancel her subscription entirely since she will not ever use it again in high school.

Subsequently, on December 18, 2023, the account holder upgraded the account and purchased two seats for $119.99/seat, amounting to $239.98. We can confirm that this user's subscription has been canceled, and an appropriate refund has been processed for this account.
