Please dont use this company, you will deeply regret it. After they did the install, I have a loud metallic clank in my attic, which was never there before.Please read all of their reviews. The customer service was horrible and even the owner, ****, agreed they need to do better, I have it in a email.Please look them up on the CA Contractors State Licensing Board under Complaint Violation Disclosure. They shouldnt be in business anymore with all the trouble theyve been in with the state of ******, theyre even sending stuff to my work to try and intimidate me, lol. This wont work, I have a great attorney and deep pockets.Please check my next review in the near future for an update.Business Response

We ran the system, heard no noise, and verified its proper operation on 4/22/25. The client claims that a noise is still occurring. We have offered multiple times to come out to verify the noise and see if it is related to the work we performed, as we have a right to repair under the terms of our contract and the warranty terms. The client has refused to allow us back onsite and owes an extremely large balance of $34,678.02 and has yet to make any payments whatsoever. We have improved upon his property and he has a working HVAC system. We are still awaiting a reply from the client as to when we can come onsite to address the issue of the noise and to collect our balance. On or approximately in the first week of March 2023 a ******* 3 Ton 14 SEER Ultra Low NOX Package Unit was installed by SoCal Climate Control from **********, **************** was referred to me by a local Lowes hardware store. I upgraded my home from a water cooled unit to this new **** system. Code requirements from the county require an inspection to be performed and passed by a county department inspector. These dates of inspections done by the department inspectors 5/3/2023, 2/21/24 which did not pass. I do not have the date for the second inspection. When an inspection does not pass a list of corrections written by the inspector is made to be fixed by the **** company and after these corrections are made another inspection is to be performed by an inspector to pass or fail the inspection. I will now be on my 4th inspection and still have not been able to pass the inspection. Also the time frame has now been one year and no results of passing the inspection. I have also been asked by SoCal Climate to provide and pay for out of my pocket for a correction called a GFCI service receptacle which I did on one of the many corrections which cost me just above $500.00 SoCal also wanted me to pay for structural support to the roof as well. When I mentioned I would be getting a lawyer the company suddenly changed it's mind and decided to perform the work themselves (structural support to the roof). I don't believe it's correct to ask the customer to pay for something that is a correction on an inspection because I had received an estimate and got a loan to pay for all materials and labor to the company for the service provided to me. I want the inspection to pass and have SoCal Climate Control do the corrections completely and correctly. I want SoCal Climate to finally pass my inspection without asking me to pay anything else out of my pocket. I would also like for them to pay me back the $525.00 they asked me to pay for a correction they should have done themselves.Business Response

We have referred this issue to our permit department to see what corrections the inspector is requiring and reach back out to the client. Just because an inspector is issuing corrections does not necessarily mean they are covered under our contract. We apply and cover what is on our contract, no more, no less. I hired SoCal Climate Control ("SoCal") to install a new **** in April of 2023 at my property in ****** Ranch, **. SoCal charged me $12,000 (out the door) to complete the entire installation (included: equipment, permits, **********.). On May 5, 2023, I paid in full, yet the work was not completed until several days had passed. SoCal had to send four (4) different technicians on different occasions because the **** was not functioning. The system stopped working on July 2, and September 4. Also, as of today (9/26/2023), the **** has not passed the inspections with the city (i.e., due to electrical, mechanical, issues, etc.). We have had three (3) different inspectors scheduled, yet SoCal has failed to pass the inspection. As I noted, Im the owner of the property and I currently rent out the property It has been extremely stressful for my tenants and for me. I do not recommend this company to anyone - very unprofessional.Business Response

HVAC unit installed It was the wrong one Had to pay more than initial estimate To have the correct one Installed again The unit broke first winter No heat for over a month Rude and disrespectful customer service Headed by ****** Then in the summer it doesnt cool We have 5years labor and ten years parts But after they sent a tech out 3 times They couldnt fix the issue so we were told they would not come out unless we put a deposit down for an issue that wasnt diagnosed They are a horrible company period And they seem to enjoy giving customers the run around Weve had enough The owner **** ***** could care less about his customers And the company will not stand behind their workBusiness Response

We installed a new furnace, coil and condenser for $5800 in July of 2019. We connected into the existing refrigeration line. The pre-existing refrigeration line has a leak in it and is leaking refrigerant. We offered to replace the refrigeration line for half price. The client has yet to sign on the discounted price for the replacement of the failed component which we did not install.Initial Complaint

I have a document Attached describing in detail what I went through over the last 30 days from July 7 to the present date I sent this letter to the company and also told me that they would put a lien on my property. If I didnt pay immediately explain to them everything that has happened and would like to talk to one of the owners about my situation.How ever as of todays date August ********************************************************************* the way I was treated and discuss my bill and what I could do about it if I could have any remedy at all they just kept sending me an email saying they were going to put a lien on my property. i paid over ********************* august 2022 i was told they would come back within a year if called and perform maintenance.i feel like it is not blowing as cold so called today asked for them to come performance maintaince if there was a leak in the copper attached when installed it would have lost pressure any standard hvac guy could re flang the pipe attach pump it for negative pressure refill refrigerant and they just flat out said they will not come or do anything on a mini split system so i wasted money basicly i could have banged out the drywall hole run the line the pump is maybe 500 bucks and mini splits come precharged they didnt even have to charge it with refrigerant dont use them they lied about coming to do maintenance they over charge not a company to be trusted even if you over pay for there service. they want you to spend the most money possible and buy whatever the biggest thing they have very frustratingBusiness Response

On March 6th, 2023 I signed a contract with SoCal Climate to get my HVAC system replaced. I had sent a payment of $178.65 that same day through Zelle. After reviewing the contract in my email, I decided to cancel within the 3 d?y cancellation period. ***** the representative I spoke to over the phone said I should have that refunded within 7-10business days. I emailed on March 26th as seen below and I did not receive a response.I called on March 27th and spoke to ***** again she said she had made a mistake and its still processing in payroll .She said she would find out the status of my refund and call me back but I did not receive any calls. Dear SoCal, I was informed that my payment of $178.65 will be refunded within 7-10business days from March 7th, 2023.Please let me know if it has been processed or what happened? Terrible, terrible company. They installed a new hvac system and insulation in 2020. They charged over ******. They cut corners throughout the entire installation. Now I have a system that breaks down every summer and every winter. They have sent engineers countless times to patch up their substandard installation. At about a 2 week turnaround each time. So for weeks of the year, our house has no A/C or no heating. Socal also have no interest in doing a good job. ***** get Tonnes if attitude from them when reporting an issue too.Business Response
