      On Sunday, March 24th between 2:00pm and 2:07pm I purchased a cup of ice cream at the Haagen Dazs shop in the ********* Mall in **********, *********. When paying for the ice cream I notice the price was $7.88. I was taking my money out of my wallet and the server quickly reached over and hit a button on the credit card machine and asked me for $12.88. I paid and walked away. I was not offered a receipt and when I sat down I realized that the server had added a $5 tip to my order. I did not go back and inquire or to get a receipt, which I probably should have. I reached out to Dreyers immediately and they told me that the shop was owned by a franchise owner and that they would have that person reach out. They have not responded so I am asking the BBB to get involved. I am not looking for reimbursement but I am concerned that this server could be doing this to cash paying customers which is not ethical. I also looked at the website and realized that I was supposed to get more ice cream than what I received and the price of $7.88 is what I should have paid for this transaction. Not only did they take $5.00 but underserved me as well. Last time I will visit one of these ice cream shops.

      About 3 weeks ago I brought a pint of cherry vanilla Haagan Dazs ice cream at a near supermarket. While I was eating the ice cream I chewed on something hard that for sure was not a cherry, when I spit it out it was a disgusting finger nail. I dont know if this was done on purpose because the piece of nail was just the same color as of a cherry. Very disgusting and disappointed since *********** was my favorite ice cream. II have previously sent a message to the company but my message has been ignored.

      I bought a pack of drumsticks ice cream for **** from Shaws and all the mint ice cream did not have ice cream in it. I contacted the company directly they apologized and ask for my information to send coupons. This was back in January I have not heard anything from them since.

      On December 11th 2022 I bought Chips Ahoy ice cream from my local food lion, product was fully sealed when I opened it that night. A week later exactly on December 18th at 10:30pm I made a bowl (i had already been eating the ice cream prior to this night) and as I was eating it I chomped down on something hard, it hurt and immediately looked at my fianc and he even heard the noise and Asked me what that was I ran into the bathroom with my bowl of ice cream and spit out what I had eaten I found tiny pieces of glass in my mouth, I started digging through the bowl only finding many more tiny tiny pieces of glass. I immediately took pictures of the glass as well as the container of ice cream. I went online to the business website and filed a complaint. The business called me about 3-4 days later and asked me a ton of questions and I answered all of them. They mailed me a package and told me to send the glass back to them so they can examine it. I received the packed a couple days after Christmas and sent it back to them the first week of January. I took pictures of everything I had done from this point. I emailed about 2 days later telling them I sent the package and I would like a call back as soon as they figure it out, she told me she would make sure that happened. I have sent 3 emails since then and the company will not respond, or call me regarding how they will handle this incident. I am very upset because I have a 7 month old that days prior to me finding glass she was also eating this ice cream with me, and it could also harm me if I would have not realized this. I have a scheduled dentist appointment due to this because my tooth will not stop bothering me. If you are able to help in anyway that would be amazing. Thank you!
