      I placed an order on February 13 and was told the item would be ready for pickup within two hours. However, I didnt receive a notification that it was ready until February 19six days later, which is ridiculous. When I finally went to pick up my order, which I had purchased using a gift card, the store was out of stock. Instead of issuing me a refund for the unavailable items, the store told me I needed to contact customer service. I reached out to customer service on February 19 and was informed that they couldnt email me a gift card; instead, they had to physically mail one. I agreed and waited. By March 27, I still hadnt received anything, so I called customer service again, only to be told that there was no record of my gift card being sent. At that point, I was assured they would email me a gift certificate instead. No problem. But later that day, a representative called me back to say they wouldnt be emailing a gift card after all. Instead, they planned to refund the difference to my credit card. However, since I had used a gift card for the original purchase, there was no credit card on file to issue the refund. Throughout this ordeal, Ive spoken to two different representatives across three separate calls, each lasting over an hour. Now, its April 2, and after being told on March 27 that Id receive a call within 24 hours, no one has followed up. I still havent received my refund or the replacement gift card for the out-of-stock items. This is over $200 dollars.

      I ordered 2 large planters from this company and had it shipped to my business to make sure I could receive it. However I didnt receive any email confirmations of shipping or delivery until 2 days after it was Delivered. ***** tracking shows it was signed for by someone unknown to me or the business on 9/11/24. I contacted ***** who advised of different scenarios but couldnt offer real assistance as I was not the shipper or had the 9 digit account number. I then reached out to ********************** customer service and spoke with ******** and then supervisor ****. Both ladies told me to file a police report stating the package was lost or stolen. I immediately advised that I wouldnt be doing this because I had no truthful knowledge that it was stolen or lost. I never saw the delivery nor is it on the camera feed for Wed, Thursday, or Friday. ****, continued to reread her scripted responses and offered no real solution. I was told the policy is to wait at least 5 business days and then they are able to file a report with *****. The conversation was horrid and for it to be the first interaction with this company, I will not allow it again. There are numerous companies that provide what this company does, save yourself time and money by shopping elsewhere. Their reviews speak for themselves. They do not care!!

      Very ********************* So I purchased the ******* Channel Back Upholstered Dining Chair Set of 2, the box should include 2 chairs when I got home after I picked up the order I found one chair in the box. I called the store and spoke to a manager and was advised that the item (the second chair) would be held for me when I came back to pick it up (I received no apology for the mistake on the phone). I went to pick up the chair the next day and when I approached customer service and gave them my info she grabbed the chair off the floor along with a small box with the hardware and gave it to me as if she was giving me a small item (this is a chair lol) she could've put it in a cart or asked me if I need help taking it to the car. So disappointed with the way they handled this issue and will not return to the store for any further purchases.

      The absolute worst company Ive ever dealt with! Made an online purchase and picked it up in the store and realized when I got it home that it was filthy! Dirt was everywhere and there was a stain on it, I called customer service and they created a case and six days later, I heard nothing. So, I returned the item to the store and they gave me less than what I paid. I brought it to the managers attention and showed her what I paid and she said she did not know how to fix it and asked me if I was OK with taking less, what kind of question is that? Give me back every ***** I paid! This is the second time this is happened at this location. I reached out to customer service and was on hold for 20 minutes asking if there was anything they could do for the inconvenience of this and they offered no resolution. I will never shop at world market again!

      The World Market *** is a scam with their affiliation with Bed Bath and Beyond going out of business. The gift card that has their name on the back and states that they can be used is a lie. Additionally, the card sates never a fee and never expires. The company office was contacted, and the manager stated the card was no good and that there was nothing he could do. What the **** is he the manager of if he can't do anything about this false advertisement? He hid behind a poor business plan with Bed Bath and Beyond. I imagine that their business will be next to go bankrupt.

      I order a chair the ****** ****** *** ******* ******* ***** which was advertised online for $322.49 and with the ******* discount code, I should have been able to buy the chair for $295.13 but when I went to check out online the chair defaulted to the full price of $499.99. I called the customer service number and was told that the sale price was a boy for the grey chair. Frustrated and thinking I made a mistake and misread the ad bought the chair the next day at my local store. Since then reread the add and it was clearly advertised for that sale price in the color I wanted. I have been a faithful long term customer but there comes a time when you have to call out the bs. I just want a large corp who values their customers to do the right thing. I have photos to share of the ad. Please ask me for them.

      awful. i ordered two pillows from their website. i got an email cancelling half of my order, saying that the pillow is not available. however, the pillow remains available for sale on their website which i think is not legal. further, when i tried to cancel my entire order immediately after being notified that one of the two pillows was unavailable, it took THREE phone calls, plus an online chat, to attempt to cancel the order. i was told twice it was cancelled. but then days later the pillow arrived at my house anyway. i called AGAIN to figure out how to return it and get my full refund, and was told i had to pay for shipping. i hate this company. it feels like a total set up and rip off and i'll never shop there ever again.

      Left information since they won't log in on my account. Nothing indicates incomplete profile when I review it, but won't give the advertised discount of 10% for pick up order. Won't allow log in at all after notifying them off the issue. Does not seem like they honor their advertised sales, or discounts.
