I purchase two items from a website that was fraudulent. Upon realizing this I contacted cashapp and was told to give then a call back when the item is not pending anymore. The next day I did so and they had be file a dispute online for both transactions. In the mist if all of this I had already contacted the company in reference to a refund and was told it had already shipped. Upon asking for a tracking number the company never replied. I gave cash app all my documents to prove it was fraud such as the website being created this year and the emails I sent to them. I even showed them on the bbb the website came back as fraud and I was denied. Upon asking for a denail reason several times I was finally emailed a denial reason but none of that information on the denial reason was mine. It wasnt the amount I disputed, It wasnt the last 4 of my card and the merchant was different. Upon calling casp app back I was told there was nothing they can doBusiness Response

I have an account with ****************** that I dont use often but was doing a long distance move and the movers only accepted cashapp for tips. I was trying to add money from my debit card with **************************** and it kept asking me to scan the card, but would just spin after that. I tried a couple of times and gave up that day. The next day I received a message saying I violated their terms of service and they closed my account. I appealed and asked for details for how I violated the terms. The bank account is mine and I can show proof of identification. I have emailed with them back and forth a few times and they will not activate the account nor tell me what the violation. I have concerns that they are accusing me of violating the terms of their service when it comes to fund transfers without an explanation. If a company financial company cancelling someones account and accusing them of violations, the violations should be stated. I dont see where I did anything wrong by trying to add money with my debit card to send money to the movers.Business Response

My Cash App account associated with $AlexisVaughn01 was suddenly suspended on Saturday, June 29, 2025, without any clear explanation. Since then, I have been completely unable to make any transactions. There is currently $170.35 in my account that I cannot access, which is causing financial stress and inconvenience.I have contacted Cash App Support multiple times through the app and email, but I continue to receive vague, generic responses that do not address my specific case. I have asked for a reason for the suspension and a timeline for resolution, but Ive been given no clear information or meaningful help.I rely on this account for personal and essential financial needs. The lack of transparency and the inability to speak with a real person about my case is unacceptable. I am requesting that my account be reviewed by a live support agent and that I receive a clear explanation and resolution. If the restriction is legitimate, I expect to be informed of the reason. I was hacked and my cash app was used to buy bitcoin I filed a claim with cash app and notified my bank right away my bank refunded my money but cash app has given me a neat balance of the amounts used by fraud I notified them right away what happened when I got the negative balance I reached out and they asked me to file a claim again I already notified them of the hack the day off with all information everytime I have issue with this card I always get denied even when Im in the right thats why I rarely use this card especially for big or important transactionsBusiness Response

On July 1st I was online which I thought it was a closeout sale for Big lots. I made a few purchases I couldn't believe the prices that I was paying but all in all it said Big lots and I knew the stores were closing. Shortly after I made this purchase I tried to contact Cash app while the charge was pending and I had stated not to pay the company because it was a scam. I was unable to do anything until the pending charge was no longer pending I filed two complaints with cash app I sent them all the information I asked them who this company is if they spoke to anybody at this company if I could speak with somebody at this company if there was a phone number or any way to reach a person. The only response I got from cash app was my claim is denied. I have never received any of the products that I purchased the tracking information that they gave me is a scam as well I sent screenshots of all this to cash app and they still refuse to give me my money back. How can they say a company deserves to be paid when they don't know who this company is if they have a business license and if they spoke with anybody it is apparent to me they never spoke with anybody or contacted anybody they just made up their mind that they were going to deny the plane and keep my money.Business Response

I had ****** taken out of my banking account from fraudulent activity. Have spoken to cash apps multiple times. Have given them all the information they asked for. Keep getting putt off until the ten day cutoff period comes due and my clam gets closed. I dont even have a cash app account but someone somewhere somehow got into my account and got my money. On June 20th, 2025, I was the victim of a robbery and harassment incident during which I was forced, under duress, to send money using Cash App. I filed a police report immediately after the incident and submitted all relevant documentation to Cash App in support of my dispute.Despite the severity of the situation and the evidence I provided, Cash App has refused to refund the amount in question. I am extremely disappointed in their lack of support and failure to recognize this as a case of financial coercion tied to a criminal ****** seeking a full refund of the amount that was forcibly taken from me and for Cash App to take these types of safety issues more seriously for the protection of its users.Business Response

On June 28, 2025. I placed an order on Tiktok for a flat screen tv for *****. I paid $51.96 with my debit card from Cashapp. I never received a confirmation of my order or email or anything as proof of my order from Tiktok, so I reported this to TikTok as a fraudulent account and a scam and I never received a response from Tiktok. On June 30, 2025. I filed a dispute with Cashapp for transaction of payment to ********** purchase of $51.96. I stated in my dispute that I was scammed by a fraudulent account on tiktok and provided cashapp documentation of the only proof I had. My dispute was denied with cashapp for the purchase made. I called Cashapp about the denial and explained that the purchase I made was a scam and fraudulent and the representative from Cashapp told me they would review it again more thoroughly. My 2nd dispute was denied again and Cashapp states that my dispute was denied because they have documentation that I received the goods purchased. I tried requesting the proof of documents Cashapp states they have regarding my reason for denial. I cannot get a proper response or proof of why they denied my claim.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received a refund and cashapp has not done a charge back and the last communication, cashapp stated if I did not receive my shioment after 15 days of expected delivery then to notify cashapp and it has been over 15 days and I have not received anything at all from the company no email, no goods nothing at all. I would like cashapp to do a chargeback, I do not know what the problem is why cashapp refuses to help me , because I know they do not have any proof I received my order at all because I did not, so If your not going to refund me my money then provide me proof of the shipment I received. I have never had this type of issue before with any banks.
